Welcome to Teapot Tuesday
the Sisterhood of the Traveling Teapotters and Challenge #279
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
What a pain when the wind comes sweeping down the plain.
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooklahoma! where the wind comes sweeping down the plain, Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooklahoma Where the wav-in roses and petals fall at your feet When the wind comes right behind the rain Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooklahoma ev'ry night my honey lamb and me, I'm Sam before we doze we inspect our roses to the delight of our respective noses. Until. . . . Oh the horror! Sam and Pam known for their exquisite roses are covered in windblown petals up to their noses. That wind that came sweeping down the plain has caused them to suffer such financial strain. Who ya gonna call when your roses droop and fall? There's no need to climb the walls The teapotters will answer their call. Okay get your green thumb limbered up and raise your pinky when you lift your cup we've got a big job to do so you better not have the flu Bring roses to help out Sam and Pam and get these two out of a jam. We'll gather 42,000 roses to eradicate their despair that should be enough roses (and then some) to spare!
Challenge Translation: Bring roses, either in bunches or a single stem. Don't have any roses? Bring a red flower. Extra Points for Extra Cookies: Anyone bringing red roses gets extra cookies.
DESTINATION STATION: This week our destination is Oklahoma.
