WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY
THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING TEAPARTY
AND CHALLENGE #115
IT'S DISASTER FOR CASPER! THE WHITE AND FRIENDLY GHOST!
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you!
This is my story!
1. You know what's funny about this teapot. When I showed it to my dh he saw the spider webs and commented on how cool they were on the spout and handle. Hmmm, that's interesting, the thing that caught my attention was the ghost who IS the handle and spout. So I guess that you could say, together we see a ghost in serious trouble! And why would I not embellish the story a little by the mention of two annoying and flighty little bats and a whiney cry-baby pumpkin? Wonder why they both have some crazy commitment to hanging around this ghostly disaster! Yikes!
It's Mitsey Bitsey Spider who guards the teapot spout!
Down came two bats who tried to take her out!
That's Dunkin the Pumpkin, the one who cried the most!
A disaster for Casper, the white and friendly ghost!
2. So, here we go. It's another Teapot Tuesday Teaparty! And of course, you know we have a mission! Did you not hear me say that the ghost is forever caught in the web? Well, your imagination might take you down a road where the responsible spider is relentless, evil, mean and as ferocious as a black widow kinda spider trapping his victim! But, before you put on your shoes for a successful squish, like Paul Harvey once said.......here is the *rest of the story*.
3. Little Mitsey Bitsey is just so itsey bitsey! She managed to snag this big ghost in her web but she's way too little to climb up to tell him he's not in danger! And now her best friend, Dunkin the Pumpkin, is crying because he's worried she will tumble down to her demise! Not to mention those two skeery bats that keep dive bombing her and screeching/squeeking funny noises! It sorta sounds like, A disaster for Casper, The white and friendly ghost! She's beginning to think this Halloween party is a big mistake! All she and Dunkin are trying to do is get this awesome white ghost to come to their party to add to their decor. They need to find some pumpkins cuz Marvin can carve em, snag some candy from Sandy and prove to that snooty, snotty la-de-dotty Little Miss Muffet that spiders who sit down beside her are capable of so much more!! They were hoping to throw the Halloween Party of the century! But its one dilema after another. If only she were as big as those 42,000 wolf spiders they found under hay in the barn, then she could scale this teapot spout!
4. Another sneeze Louise? Louise is Dunkin's little sister. She seems to have pumpkin guts up her nose! Bring Ghosties and Ghoulies, Goblins, and Spooks. Delightfully Frightful Bumps in the Night! Bring Pumpkins and Monsters, Bats and Black Cats! Bring Skeletons, Ravens, Witches and Rats! Bring Trees that are leaf-less, moons that are full! Bring candy corn, cupcakes, cookies treats! Bring hot apple cider or apples to bob!! Bring popcorn balls, candy bars, bubble gum and pop!!
If you bring your spider smooshing shoes, you will have to come in the back door and leave them on the step. Mitsey Bitsey is very passionate about her fellow spider friends! Oh, and will somebody, please tell Casper that he's not in danger. That he just has a modeling gig at a Halloween party, that's all, not anything sinister!
Teapot Tuesday Destination Station #115:
This week's destination is Birchwood, Wisconsin. We are sending our cards to Jacob, the 5 year old grandson of Renee, a fellow SCSer/Teapotter
(handmadebyme). Jacob recently had tonsil surgery and the doctors found a cancerous growth on the tonsil. As his plans for treatment progressed unfortunately they discovered his cancer was more advanced than originally thought and the cancer had spread to both his kidneys and liver. Doesn't seem quite right for a 5 year old!
We are bringing a Halloween Party to Jacob! I have attached a picture of him here with his parents (that's a big fish!) As you can see, he is in a skeery skeleton shirt and Renee says he loves skeery stuff! Since he might not have the energy to do any trick or treating this year, we'll brighten his holiday with a skeery teaparty!
For more information on Jacob's treatment as well as his address see
Post #141 in the
Teapot Tuesday Destination Station thread, should you decide to send your card to this brave little kid who instead of planning a Halloween costume is undergoing Chemo! Please remember that just because you participate in a Teapot Tuesday challenge that is combined with a card drive request, it does not mean that you are REQUIRED to send your cards. It is strictly voluntary.
