I think I posted in the wrong thread so am trying again. My birthday will be all over SCS at this rate. As I said in the original message I believe I have you all beat with age but I rely heavily on information from my mother who could have been ten years off (oh I know about the birth certificate thing but who looks at that old thing?!)
Oct. 5 is the official date.
well...well....I am one of those ODD ones....I never met a birthday I didn't want to CELEBRATE......and I am proud and pleased to say that I celebrated my 60th on November 16......I don't want to return to 29 again as that would mean I would have to go back to work and wait many more years to reach the retirement I am now enjoying......poor but HAPPY!!!!
I know what you mean about going backwords.. I retired 2-03 and I wouldn't want to go through that all over again either...poor but happy too.
Happy Birthday girl..I thought I already put this in....see....I said I'm older then all youse....hehe
And here I thought I was the grand prize winner. This next April will be the 44th anniversary of my 29th. (We are usually on the road, or getting ready for that trip from AZ to CO, hence no address right then - so I opt for a toast!)

Well you got me beat.. Feb. will be my 40th anniversary of my 29th.
I'm boycotting the whole getting older thing. I went and married the oldest DD's youth pastor 10 years ago! Now I have to wait for him to catch up to me! My oldest is 25 and married, so she won't say she is 12 any more! How rude! My youngest is 6. Poor thing doesn't know I'm old enough to be her and her eight year old brother's grandmother! Ha Ha!
I will post my b-day, but only if you only send email greetings. I am terrible about getting things off in the mail!!! Poor Perk got her b-day RAK when she turned 50 and a half! <--- Nanner, nanner Perk (CoffeeStamper). I'm a brat so I told your age!!!

1. I got such a kick out of reading all of your birthday banterings. I must say you guys are living in a world of make believe! Snort! I got WAY confused trying to figure out who is the oldest! I didn't know you could have an anniversary of a birthday!
2. Its quite obvious that you all are not only old, but sorta confused. I got another big kick out of the confusion and multiple postings of birthdates on both threads. Who was it that said her birthday will be posted on every SCS thread ever? APandi, was that you?? Could it be that the old and confused is leading the old and confused and therein lies the problem? Giggle! I DO have a tendancy to make things confusing, but hey, makes for some added fun! Tee Hee!
3. Please double check the dates! Let me know if I messed up yours or or missed you all together! It happens huh Pat (kokirose)! Remember, I am old and confused!
4. Thank you SO much. I will keep checking back and updating!

Who? Confused? Me? NEVER!!!
I am so not confused that I put down my birthday is in April. Well, I am not confused (or getting old or anything..) - I just wanted to be toasted during the whole month LOL!

Actually, it is April 18.
Tee Hee! I agree Dorothy, we're not confused, we know what we are doing! But we are THE ONLY ONES that know what we are doing right? Hee! I updated the thread, you are no longer a question mark!
Unless you wanna be and I can add it at the end! Snort!

I agree with Brat too, about only sending email greetings..I am also terrible at sending cards out..I either do, and then I doooo....or I don't and then I d--o--n'--t !!!

Please somebody lift that rock that I've obviously been living under for the last week as I nearly missed this!
My oldest is going to be 29 this year so I won't be able to get away with that ... instead I'm celebrating a 55 split - born in 55 gonna be 55 on March 31st. I threw myself a birthday tea at 50 and I'm going to do it again. Trying to decide on a theme - either 55 and Alive or Going Green without Getting Moldy.
In any case - Happy Birthday those of you who have celebrated already this year!

I have no problem with sending cards even if I don't get one.
It's not like a formal birthday club, after all, it's just part of the ongoing tea-party fun. I can't be the only one with a few tea-party cards that really can only make sense to another tea-partier, can I?
DH never spotted the diamond ring on Pierre's serving dish - he thought that was a useful card. Well, it could be if I take the engagement ring off and replace it with something else, LOL.

I don't have a problem either about sending cards out even if I don't get one. I have people that want me to make birthday cards for there relatives and friends in the building I live in, and I knit & crochet so I make dishclothes for them too.And I belong to another Birthday site that I mail out B-cards.
I would feel terrible if I started to mail out b-cards on here and missed someone. I am just hoping I don't miss some one on here by not sending them a Happy B-Day message.
Happy belated birthday everyone and HB to Jovialjudi today! Cindy this is such a great idea. I'm sorry I've been absent from teaparties, but will try to rally to participate again soon!

My birthday is July 6, 1955
I love to celebrate birthdays!
I look at all the good things in my life (yes, there are one or two bad things but I choose not to focus on them this day especially) and thank the Lord for another year and all the precious things like my children, grandchildren, other family, and many wonderful friends!

I wish there was somewhere on SCS that we could have our own calendar -- then we could input everyones birthdays to pop up and remind us to do the big Birthday Wish Toast .. I know for me I am on here more than once a day -- so it would be excellent for me ... mmm maybe I should suggest this to the powers above and see what they can do ....
I would like to be able to post cards when I can ... I have so many cards here that could do with a new home ... I love birthdays and I love cards -- so I love sending them as well. I get so excited when I get pretty mail in my mailbox -- it sure does make me smile so I would like to make others smile if I can .... hugs to all xxxx
I worry that someone is going to post their birthday in here and I am gonna miss it and not get it in the mail schedule....so if you did and I didn't......please let me know. Hey, its what OLD people do (sometimes!)
CrazyKim! You are always brightening someone's day when they get your wonderful cards! I know you certainly have brightened my day! You are one wonderful teapotter!
