If you are new to the challenge this is how it works. Each Saturday I choose a song. I then ask you to make a card that is inspired by the chosen song. Then post your card here in the forum and we can leave our comments and chat about it. Then next Saturday I will put everyone's name that made a card for this challenge into a drawing. The winner will be the recipient of the cards made for this challenge. Therefore I will ask you to consider sending your card to whomever is the lucky recipient. However, it is NOT mandatory that you send your card out. You may use it for whatever you wish.
Also, please remember in order to have your name put in the drawing you MUST post your card here in the forum before next Saturday.

Thank you ladies. I did have a nice day except I got sunburned...owie...but that's okay cuz we had fun. I believe either today or tomorrow we are going to see Rick Wilcox. Yay!!!!! So today if I stay home it's get swap cards done and one challenge card done. I want to try that Star Spangled challenge. What every everyone is doing I hope you have a fun time doing it. Good morning everyone. Well two more days and dd goes in for her surgery. I'm starting to get nervous but not letting her see that. She is already afraid. They said as long as her blood platelettes stay up everything should be fine. So please say an extra prayer for her. Well, today is going to be a cleaning day. Then if I get done early enough maybe I can get a card made. I hope y'all have a great day.
Good morning. What is everyone up to today? Me, paying bills, doing a little bit of grocery shopping and I don't know what else. I don't want to leave my house because it's nice and cool in here and it's so hot outside. But I have to get things done so....it's time to put on my big girl pants and venture out. What ever you are doing today, I hope you have a great time doing it!!! If you are doing something that isn't fun, I hope you get it done quickly so you can have the rest of the day to have fun.

FM, I missed it last night. OMGosh....I am gonna catch it online after I get back from hospital. I hope I am back in time to watch last nights then tonights. Other wise I will have to watch them both online. I didn't even get to vote. waaaaaa
Bonnie, great to see you. Oh hon, I cannot believe this...you my dear need to start making some noise with these dang nab doctors. I would find out about going to Mayo Clinic....they are an awesome hospital with some of the world's best doctors. Someone has got to be able to help you. Please know you are in my prayers. Well ladies, I won't be on today, dd surgery is this morning. She is so scared and I am crying because I feel bad for her. I don't know what to say to make her feel safe. She said she would have been fine if the doctor wouldn't have focused so much on the possibilities of things that could go wrong. I tried telling her they have to do that no matter what. Even if it's them putting stitches in. I don't think she believes me. So I simply told her that we are all praying for her and to think about this afternoon because by then she will be out of surgery and eating her red jello.
Hello ladies. I want to thank you all for your kind words for myself and my dd. Other than the fact that her bladder was punctured and she has to be catederized (sp) for two weeks everything went fine. She will be coming home sometime today. Now she just needs to take it easy and let the healing begin. Thank you again for all your kind words and for all the prayers. I hope y'all have a great day!!! You all are so kind.

I am glad to have a day off today. I am doing some chores and getting things caught up.
Two of my aunts are coming today to spend a week with my Mom. I have been helping her get things ready. I am sure I will be spending qiute a bit of time with all of them when I am not at work.
If I have a little time I may make a few cards this afternoon.

Well ladies, I finally did it... I started writing my book as a page a day blog. The book is about a woman dealing with chronic pain on a daily basis with a teen who thinks her mom is just selfish. The two will end up understanding one another along the way. If you'd like to read along with me as I write or leave some much needed critisism please check it out Here. FM thank you. I did tell her she better follow docs instructions or she may end up caring that bag around longer than two weeks. She doesn't want that to happen.
I am quickly putting my card on at the last minute. We have relatives visiting from Seattle are, so we are going to Farmers' Market and then who knows what. I probably will only be on here late at night and early in morning for this week.
