Weekly Musical Challenge #36 - Hint: you can paint them
Ladies, I would like to thank all of you that participated in last week's Musical Challenge - Please, Mr. Postman. We didn't have a lot of players, but that is okay we still had fun.
Because we want to bring in more players, ..THIS WEEK ONLY...if you are a first time player and post a card OR if you have played before and bring someone in that posts a card this week...you will get a prize.
Remember, if you have any ideas on making this challenge better, please pm me. I want to hear your ideas. Or if you would like to request a song to use as our inspiration, you should also pm me.

If you are new to the challenge this is how it works. Each Saturday I choose a song. I then ask you to make a card that is inspired by the chosen song. Then post your card here in the forum and we can leave our comments and chat about it. Then next Saturday I will put everyone's name that made a card for this challenge into a drawing. The winner will be the recipient of the cards made for this challenge. Therefore I will ask you to consider sending your card to whomever is the lucky recipient. However, it is NOT mandatory that you send your card out. You may use it for whatever you wish.
Also, please remember in order to have your name put in the drawing you MUST post your card here in the forum before next Saturday.

Toes, twinkle toes, toes, twinkle toes, oh yes I get it...... toes yep...I do have twinkle toes on my sneakers.... you know the ones with lights on them that twinkle when you walk!!!

Ok...I'm gonna havta thank Lauren for this one. I found the perfect little playmate for her Puff the Magic Dragon. Now the colouring didn't come though well cause the scanner is yucky so I'll try and get a picture...

Good morning ladies. What is everyone up to today? I will be doing what I was supposed to do yesterday today. I didn't get anything done yesterday due to storms cutting my electric off. uggg...But so far today all I see out there is rain. Hopefully the storms are done. I will be by my computer however most of my attention will be given to bill paying and card making. I vote card making and forget the bill paying..hehe..I know if I do that I will have my electric cutt off for good. uggg We can't have that. Well I hope everyone has a great day.
OMD OMD Oh My Dog!!! I woke up with my head pounding only to realize they have started renovations to the corridor...feels like my bathroom floor is being pounded in!! Going to be a lovely peaceful day I presume....
I'm working and wish I was home. I cleaned up my craft room last night. Nothing on the table except a small unfinished canvas. I would love to be home making cards!
FM just come over here today. It is nice and peaceful here. Oh and Karenliz would you like me to call your boss and let him/her know that you are needed at home for a card making session??? Cuz I'll do it. I mean c'mon...that's important stuff.
Well ladies, I did get my bills paid so now I am going to clean up my stamping room and set myself up in the dining room so I can make a mess in there making cards. hehe...I am tellin ya, I have 5 six ft tables and two huge living rooms....y'all need to come and create with me. It's been a long time since I have had anyone to make cards with. In fact, the last time was when my granddaughter was visiting last October/November. So see I neeeeeeeed you guys. :p

Thanks for trying to give me some inspiration! For some reason I don't have much to go with this theme(maybe because we aren't close to the beach here!) I do love the Oregon coast, have been there on quite a few vacations.
Anyway, I finally found something, but I don't think I will be able to get the card done until tomorrow morning. I am working afternon & evening today.
Also, Lynn, i received your cards yesterday--the U card and the C card. They are both so wonderful!
I have been a little slow mailing out my challenge cards to the winners, but they are on the way now.

Music in our Lives
I have been doing a project since January called One Little Word. The premise is that you chose a word or it choses you, to follow for 1 year. My word is FOCUS. I want to focus more on me and try and keep my health at bay. This has been a tough month and the theme for this month is music in your life. Hello ladies. FM, I love love love that show. I watch it faithfully. I love any show that has to do with dance. As I have mentioned before, that is one of the top two things I truly miss in my life, my dancing. I don't have a huge amount of self esteem, however, I can honestly say I excelled when it came to dance. Even tho physically I can no longer dance, I still find it soothing to watch others. I just love it. I think music is the best medicine and I also feel that dance is the best excersize ever. I'm glad you have music in your life. And choosing FOCUS as your word....excellant idea. I hope it is helping you to get through this rough month. I do pray that you start to feel better real soon. Huggs my friend.

Good morning again. I did go and lay back down. I fell asleep and stayed asleep for a whole 2 hours. That was much needed rest. Whheeewww I feel better. Watch out world...hehe
