Weekly Musical Challenge - 13 - You could be the recipient of these cards
Thank you so much to everyone that played the Hey Good Lookin What You Got Cookin Musical Challenge this past week. Ya'll really stepped up to the challenge. And now ladies it's time for a new song to inspire you and it's also time to announce the recipient of the cards made for last week's song, Hey Good Lookin What You Got Cookin. If you are new to the challenge this is how it works. Each week I choose a song. I then ask you to make a card that is inspired by the chosen song. Then post your card here in the forum and we can leave our comments and chat about it. Then next Saturday I will put everyone's name that made a card for this challenge into a drawing. The winner will be the recipient of the cards made for this challenge. Therefore I will ask you to consider sending your card to whomever is the lucky recipient. However, it is not mandatory that you send your card.

Ladies, you will notice that I do not have my card posted. I will post it later tonight. I have to get batteries for my camera. So after my grandson's very first hockey game I will be making a WalMart run. Have fun with this week's song. I sure did.

Thanks, too, to Kayla for drawing my name. My true desire would be for each participant to send their card to someone truly deserving. Soldiers, nursing home, how about the Veterans Hospital. There are so many veterans who have no families...how exciting it would be for them to receive a card from a stranger.
Ok, I finally finised my card. I mixed the SC317 sketch challange with this challange. Now I didn't have the exact colours so I ended up not colouring the angel but showed both Fly Away by FMcrafter at Splitcoaststampers

Ladies, and anyone else who joins us this week, what would you think of sending the cards this week to a fellow SCSr? She is dealing with cancer for the second time. Of course we would do this instead of having the drawing. This is IF I can get her address. Let me know what ya'll think. I will pm you the person's name. I'd like to suprise her.

Thank you Bev. No she won't take offense. I am sure she will absolutely love "happy" mail. I haven't found her address yet, so I may not be able to keep it a secret. I may have to ask her for her address so of course she will know. I will keep you updated as I find out things. How are you doing today?
Awesome, I have her address. She is part of RAK. Now do you think since she is part of RAK it would be ok for me to give ya'll her address? Maybe pm me for it, what do you think? BTW I too am a cancer survivor. My daughter has bone marrow cancer. Not sure if I told ya'll that.

Ladies, I have missed ya'll soo much. I hope everyone is doing well. Thank you FM for posting this week's song. I am still not released from the doc to go back to making cards, however, my daughter felt bad for me so she gave me my laptop back. lol..my dh takes bedrest serious. Well the doc did an MRI ... I won't know anything until I hear back from him on that. So...I will keep ya'll posted.
Bev, I am glad you enjoyed my card. I have to admit without going back and reading (which I will do) I don't remember who is getting which card. I usually keep good notes on this. However, the spill I took was unexpected so no notes had been taken yet. I know we have one to get out to Sam. Is there any after that? Also, I am not sure if we have any new comers but if we do....WELCOME!!!!

Hey Dani, have you had a chance to make your card yet? Every Dog has it's day by Toby keith. You'll have to tell me how I can do the colours so everyone knows it from the other messages. Card making is a very soothing pastime and should help you heal, right ladies.

I will be making my card today. I was thinking I could use the Valentine I made my DH however, I realized I can't do that because it needs to be sent to the winning recipient. Also, I'm not sure what you mean about the colors. I made quite a few cards yesterday and you know...it does help.
