What a very imaginative idea for World Card Making Day. I have limited time to play along, but this is definitely one I hope to squeeze in.

I used the Trinidad flag that is Red, White, & Black... no real stretch for me there, but I liked this idea!

This is my take on
Sweden . My Swedish work colleague is about 6 foot tall and truly black - his parents were African so I tried to make his 40th card 'sunny' as well as Swedish in colour.

I went with Italy for a red, white and green Christmas card, but had to add another shade of green to make it work.

This was a fun challenge! I loved looking at all the flags! I chose Madagascar's flag, which has green, white, and red. Then I got so busy thinking of what would produce the lush tropical look I associate with Madagascar that I forgot I should be using my Verve stamps--so sorry about that little faux pas. This was also my first time using the emboss resist technique, so that added to my distraction.
I will add a sentiment in the upper right corner once I decide who/what this card will be for.
Anyway, here it is:

My WCMD09E Card
Hello,
Michelle, I have to say, this was a very cool challenge - very unique. I liked how you incorporated the "World" of WCMD.
Here is my card. I selected the flag of Israel, which is predominantly white with blue.
Thanks again for the fun challenge Michelle and thanks to Verve for sponsoring the WCMD event here at SCS as well. I had so much fun!
