Some more USEIT cards, using some new dies and very old stamps on my featured stamper challenge card this week, and a pile of cards using up old scraps of Valentine paper….next year I get to treat myself to some new and different paper after working my way through these for multiple years. I’m especially proud of card number 4, made with scraps leftover from other scraps!
There are two more in the set but I’m having trouble linking them here…anyway thanks for looking!

I've been checking out your scrap strip cards in the gallery and just love the look. I've used strips for card backgrounds and tags but especially like the idea of pairing them up with purchased die cuts that otherwise sit and gather dust. Off to check my own scrap stash now.

Thank you so much! It was real serendipity, I had had every intention of storing away all those backgrounds for future use but happened to see the unopened pack of diecuts that I had gotten recently and wham, next thing I know I aphad a stack of cards that I really love! It’s so fun when that happens. I’m so glad to have inspired you to try this too, I will watch for your cards in the gallery!
Back with more USEIT cards..please let me know if I’m posting too much to this thread and I will try to consolidate to once a week or so!
This time I used more paper scraps, plus some very old school supplies from the 90s, and also made progress in using up some recent sticker purchases and keeping them from moving off my desk and out of sight in my stash!
As always, the description of the USEIT items is in the last paragraph of the card notes.
I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, doing some catching up. This is a belated January birthday card in early February!
Lots of OLD stuff for this card...a 2008 stamp set (flower circles), a 2013 stamp set (sentiment), stash paper scraps, stash lace, Corner punch (inside).
I think I used a current stamp set for the sentiment and Very Vanilla will never be discontinued. Otherwise, I still live in the past...Thanks for Looking!
I am playing Challenge cardmaking, from new to old and hopefully, doing some catching up! This is a birthday card for my husband. It used OLD/ UNUSED items: Woodland EF, Vintage Leaves stamps, Leaflets Framelits, metallic twine, and 1/4" turquoise ribbon
Here's another one from me using up some basic gray designer paper I've had for a decade, dusty SU sincere salutations set, and a rubbernecker watch set I've had for years. Birthday Clocks
I was quite proud of myself this week. I used gold shimmer paint, old DSP and old dies. I find this tulip set to be intimidating, too. Lots of little pieces. But, it wasn't so bad - and I love the results.
We finally made it back to our little Snowbird place in AZ for the first time in nearly two years after leaving in a big hurry because of the pandemic. I now have a huge stack of things that I brought home that are begging to be used. Today I got started by using some pre-printed card bases for the card ministry I do for our church. This one is quick enough to do in multiples. CAS676 F4A625 IC845 Cast Every Care by Isaiah40:31 at Splitcoaststampers

I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, doing some catching up...some are old...some are newer. This is a February birthday card for a long-time friend that we've not been able to see during Covid!
OLD Stuff: 2019 Made to Bloom card kit parts for my alternative design. NEW/OLD Stuff: Fancy Phrases stamps purchased in 2020 and finally opening package to use sentiment stamp.
Back with some more recent cards that allowed me to use some brand new items and some very old and sadly neglected ones! USEIT items are mentioned in the last paragraph of descriptions.
I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, doing some catching up from really old to fairly new. This is a February birthday card for a dear friend & cardmaking buddy!

Hi Everyone! So thrilled that you are using up some of your stash and I hope to be able to visit each of your galleries soon!
Dave (my hubby) and I are still in the middle of our remodeling and unfortunately, my shoulders have been taking the brunt of the overhead sanding of the ceiling, lol! Hard to type but I am so thankful that you are sharing and creating, sweet friends!
I have been creating but have not had the time or energy to post to my blog or gallery, hope to catch up one day.
This card - Hope and A Future uses retired Really Rust cardstock (or it may be Dusty Durango now that I think about it, oops!), either way, it is old, lol! Also first time using the Patina paper from Craft Consortium. Hugs and thanks for sharing!
Hi Everyone! This card features brand new Ocean Ink Drops paper from Craft Consortium , older SU cardstock (Pistachio Pudding and Taken with Teal). Hugs and thanks for looking! Nothing is Impossible
Here's another one from me using a TE embossing folder I bought a couple years ago and never used plus some sequins I didn't realize I had (found them in the brads drawer). blsr My Lilypad by raduse at Splitcoaststampers
Pretty much everything used to create this card has been in my stash for anywhere from 2 to 10 or more years. I am finally finding homes in my Rubber Room for things I forgot I still owned.

I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, catching up on some old challenges as well.
This card is for an SCS friend who's birthday I missed in January and who's Teapot Challenge I missed May of 2019. The theme is "thinking of you" since I decided her birthday was so many weeks ago, I wanted her to know I was thinking about her on her birthday and after as it became more and more belated! In addition, This theme was an option for her Teapot Challenge as well!
My OLD item(s): Handmade crochet flower--10+ yrs. old; Old patterned paper stash. Ancient ribbon stash.
