Any basic sentiment will look great in front of all of these leftovers. And to think, I may have thrown some of them away. Made two cards out of these leftover bits. Yeah! Thanks for Looking!
Ladies, I am so thankful that you have been creating and using up your stash! I broke my left wrist in the mid of October (remodeling mishap, lol!) and typing has been a bit difficult, but it is on the mend!
I am planning on continuing the USEIT in 2021 and hope you will join me again!
I did design a card recently using retired Mocha Morning DSP (SU) along with retired number dies from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and a current stamp set from Stamp Simply (first time using this sentiment)

Pulled out a very old wood mounted stamp from Magenta for this birthday card for my girlfriend. I've been using clear stamps for so long I forgot how challenging some of these large wood stamps can be to get a great image. After several failed attempts, I ended up doing the tried and true method of putting card to stamp rather than stamp to card.
Julie, I am looking forward to the 2021 thread. I made lots of cards this year and by February I had made 60 Christmas cards (more than I usually send). SCS problems kept me from uploading most of them. When cards were finished I just stored them for future use or mailed them out quickly. I have sent a lot more cards this year due to Covid and feeling the need to send some cheer. Cardmaking has kept me busy and away from the news and social media which makes me happy.
Good news is I used up a lot of supplies and I have only purchased items that needed replacing : a cutter and 3 ink pads.
I sent out all the Christmas cards that I made and had to scrape up a few older ones. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and will see you all in the new year.
This time around I'm using a Paper Smooches balloon die that I've had for years but have struggled to use. I opted to use it to create a stencil rather than to create a die cut. Worked out great.
Ladies, I am so thrilled that so many of you were able to create and use up some of your stash along with me this year! Arlene, I understand about sharing but mailing is so much more important, and it sounds like you did a great job, sweet friend!
I have over 50 individual designed cards that I created this year that are photographed but I have not had a chance to upload. Many have been mailed already but some are in my stash for mailing in 2021.
My broken wrist is healing but typing on my laptop is an issue since the laptop stand digs right into my wrist. I need to figure out a way to cushion it so I can get to your beautiful creations to comment :-)
I am praying that all of you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year staying safe from the virus. Dave and I will be celebrating by ourselves this year since all of our immediate family live in a different state and MD has a no travel ban right now (or you have to quarantine for 2 weeks upon return). Dave is still anemic and has immune issues from his chemo and I have asthma (so I need to be careful as well).
Hugs to all of you and we will continue the USEIT Challenge in 2021!!
I hope your wrist gets better soon Julie. I have really pushed myself to use stuff up this year. I did not get all the card kits used and I have about a half of a tote of items that I did not get put on cards but I feel great about the amount of stuff I did get used up. My goal for next year is to work on using up a huge stack of already stamped images that people have sent me over the years or images that I printed off or stamped more than one seems to have piled up.
Here is another Heartfelt Creations card kit that I used up. I hope to finish using those kits up early next year.
My old item is the Dotted ribbon tulle, and my new/ old items are my Dainty Dots Embossing Folder, MFT "Balloon Strings" background stamp, and Alina Craft "joy" die. It was nice to be able to use so many things gathering dust for this one card!

My card uses an old 2013 retired die for the sentiment, which I then modified a bit. It also uses old/new stamps and dies purchased in 2019 and opened a few days before Christmas this year to use on this card!
