Hi Everyone! This card was designed using scraps of previously printed image (sentiment) as well as the background stamps (for inside the cat die) and paper I have rarely (if ever) used-
I know what you mean Misti!! Here is another card using scraps from my stash- this card features French Foliage (one of my favorite retired SU! sets). I had the main image already to go in my stash, just added a few layers along with crystal drops to finish the card :-)
Took a break from organizing to create a one layer card using Wonderful Wings (have not inked this one in quite a while) and the new stamp set, Ribbon of Courage (first time I have used this one as well).
Hi Everyone! I am sharing a card today that I created with Stipple Butterfly, Off the Grid and Notable Notions- all have not seen ink in a while...I paired them with Scripture Collection 9 from ODBD that I do use often- love this set!
Hi Julie! Another scrap page using my new rectangle dies I got on Amazon for 6.99.
I only (LOL) got them as add ons to a non craft thing for DH an I, so I wouldn't have to pay shipping! Oh, and I used a stamp set that hasn't seen ink for years!

This card uses current SU! sets but I finally had a chance to use the retired MFT Fancy Ticket STAX Dies as well as the banner from MFT Blueprints 16 (I have not used either yet and owned them for several years). Dragonfly Dreams has not been used as much it should be either :-)
I've been slacking on using my older stuff because of all of the new releases, but today, I finally got back to using some older stuff I had put aside to use this summer. One of those items was old rub-ons from October Afternoon, which I used to make the following shaker card:
After making my last card, I was left with another rub-on: a boat and seagulls over the sea. I thought the dimension might work with the High Tide stamp set, so I tried pairing them together and what do you know - they do work! It also gave me a chance to keep playing with my Distress Oxide inks, which I'm in love with. Those rub-ons really inspired some great projects today!
This card uses dies along with a printed sentiment from Merry & Type (I had all of this in my "stash" and have not created a card yet using Merry & Type- I even own the actual stamp set)...
As a fairly newbie to the site and to stamping compared with some of you talented ladies, I thought I'd take up this challenge as I have so much old stash from scrapping and lots of new products that haven't even had their wrapping opened yet....yes I'm bad!
I did a quick calculation a couple of months ago on how much I've spent the past year and threw away the evidence before hubby could see it...oh dear. So my goal is to use a stamp, die...anything out of my stash when I create and I'm slowly....make that very very very slowly....working my way through it all. I have a craft shopping addiction and am sure a lot of you can relate
I'm only scrapbooking at present as part of the monthly challenges and have been good since I joined this site in creating and using up stash. I started making cards but I'm too anal and now use them in my art journal and to remind me on how I've progressed.
Previously I spent too much time on either Pintrest, FB or watching videos on techniques. Now I at least give them all a go.

I created a double page LO yesterday as part of a sketch and VSBN challenge.
Apart from a couple of new items (which I had to break the seal on), everything has been sitting in my stash for years.
I found the Bazzill Boshers (2 packs of them no less), which I remember buying for $1 each in the sale when I first took up scrapping about 15 years ago and hadn't used. When I looked at them I wondered why I had bought them; what was a "bosher", and what was I going to do with them . Maybe they aren't the right embellishment for my LO, but I am so happy to finally be using some of them.
Even a new CP Heart die that's been sitting in its box made it onto the LO

Welcome Jayne!! Yes, we all have a crafting addiction for sure but we are trying to use our stash :-) So thrilled that you found us and we will have fun seeing your creations in the gallery!!
I had a chance to finish up a card using a Power Poppy image that I had printed and watercolored in April (when I visited my Dad in Tennessee) along with a brand new set for me (I am still buying- shame, shame, shame :-)). I did use a retired EF, punch, DSP and ribbon that had not been used in quite a while.

This is a LO I created for VSBN and am posting here and also in the Mix235 challenge.
A new stencil, ink and stamp was used to create the b/g.
The chipboard and emphera are acquisitions a few months ago so it was good to finally break the packaging open. Some other items such as the soccer ball brads, stickers and the label tag have been in my stash for many years. I didn't even know I had the label tag...I'm bad!

Woohoo!! I finally had a chance to ink up the MFT Harvest Mouse stamp set that I bought almost a year ago!! Love these cute images but I do struggle with cute cards (but I cannot resist buying MFT stamp sets....I need an intervention- lol!!)

Having fun with a DTGD challenge- I used some old pastel pencils for the sky on this card (I found them when packing up our weekend home for sale and I know they are at least 40 years old)...
Hi Everyone! Here is a card using the Bow Builder Punch along with a few retired items plus some images from Butterfly Basics that I have not inked in a long time (if ever)
This card uses a brand new to me stamp, Curious Feline along with Mama Elephant's Sunday Sentiments (I have not inked the sentiment in a while), retired Certainly Celery DSP from the year 2002 or so as well as some watercolor and really old pastel pencils :-)
Sharon, I love that stamp set as well (may have to put that one on my wish list :-))
Here is a card using the Timeless Classic stamp set (originally bought years ago from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps- now retired from SNSS but available at I/O Stamps)...I have only created one other card a few years ago for my nephew's birthday and I did not post that to my gallery at the time. I love this vintage truck image and the fonts on the sentiment (stamp set was designed by our own Dina Kowal - love her work!)
