Sharon, I love that cat image and we do have to treat ourselves sometime :-)
Here are two cards using a new SNSS stamp set, Faith Quote Blocks but also SNSS Decorative Frames which I have owned for over a year and not inked yet....
I thought I might as well use this card for three challenges so here is my card using a stamp that's never been inked and foil edges that I've probably had for at least twelve years.
This card uses Inkadinkado Horses and I do not believe I have ever inked this image from the set yet plus Outlaw DSP and Absolutely Fabulous (both retired SU!)
Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend so far! This card uses the Artistic Outpost stamp set, Sleigh Ride and I have not inked this set up in over a year (so far only used the Merry Christmas sentiment :-)) I hope to ink up some of the other gorgeous images soon! Hugs and have a great week, my friends!
will you be doing this again for 2017? I've been determined to USE what I have and create more and lately, I have been on a roll. I went to my very first Expo recently (seriously) and made a pact to use what I bought, So far I have and have kept going. These types of threads help me a lot.

Hi Shannon! Yes, I plan on continuing this for 2017 and beyond! I hope you as well as all of the other sweet ladies who have joined us this year (and others) will continue to link to the USEIT thread...
I also have so many stamps and it is very difficult to use them all! This thread has helped me immensely in being conscious to pull out my older stamps and give them some "love" - lol!
wonderful! I'll add it to my list! I'm hoping to resurrect stamps from the darkest corners of my stash and fulfill their purpose. LOL! I have a case of TSS (Toy Story Syndrome) and can just imagine their heartache and despair sitting back there forgotten. Hahahaha!

Totally understand Misti!! We all need an intervention- lol!! But at least we are spending $$ on items that we can use to brighten someone's day - also, my husband knows that I do not buy a lot of clothes, jewelry, shoes, etc. so stamping is my only vice :-)
But, I do have more that I can ever use in this lifetime so I am trying to curb my spending and use what I have as well...
Hugs and know that you are not alone, sweet friend!
Also, I wanted to add, sometimes for me it may be the thrill of the purchase...I seem to buy all of my stamps, etc. online and just the act of putting them in my cart, then contemplating, do I really need this item allows me to delete the cart and use what I have on hand.
I'm not a frivolous shopper either, but I can buy Art supplies and stamps like there's no tomorrow! I remind my husband of how much money I SAVE him. LOL!
I've been there Misti. I have bought and NEVER used items I purchased in those situations. This is why I need accountability! LOL!

Me too!
and I second the strategy of looking carefully at the contents of the cart and then putting most or all of it back.
I'm finding my Scan n Cut is really useful (now I've got the hang of using it) for saving me from buying dies to go with stamps. I told my husband this would be the case when I bought it (3 years ago) and finally it's come to pass!!

Good to know about the Scan 'n Cut- it has been on my wish list for years! I tend to do a lot of fussy-cutting and know that with the price of a few die sets, I could have this machine paid for :-) Now to find a place for it...
Here is Warm Wishes. This is in the USEIT2016 gallery because I have all this Organdy ribbon from probably 20 years ago , all SU!, in a lot of retired colors! Anyway I used some on this card!
Sharon and Misti, you are both on a roll- great job!
Here is a card that uses colored embossing powders (from SU! when they sold all of these different colors that were named Rust, Orange, Yellow, etc.) and of course, I had to have them all! Some of these colors had never been opened and I know that they are at least 10 years old...plus I have never created a card yet with the SNSS Leaf Silhouettes stamp set
Way to go Misti!! I had to design a "Holiday Cuteness" card for my SU-Only Challenge this week so I pulled out Bear Hugs along with Acorny Thank You and Vintage Leaves :-) I have not stamped with Bear Hugs or Acorny Thanks in quite a while so it was fun trying to design a "cute" card (not my normal style for sure!)....
I really used stash on this card. The die is one that someone sent me that I was hoarding, the paper from 2006! And I don't even know if I have used the stamp for a while, either! I have a whole clam box of lady stamps. I love them, and hoard them. I need to use them! Anyway Precious Kitty's gallery inspired this card. Lady for Kitty
thanks you guys for looking!
