My stamp set for this week was SU Pocket Fun. My friend says she has only inked up the pocket from that set and nothing else. I used the frog too. I still have to photograph my two cards.

I know I am way behind in making cards using the next set I chose but these last couple of weeks have been crazy busy. It was on my to do list to keep using this set of Tags and More so I finally made my second card with the set. Here it is:Purple Birthday. 6 to go...now if I can get more crafting time. LOL!
Edit: I got a second one done with 2 stamps. Here is the second card with 2 stamps from that set. Only 4 more to go in that set. Then I get to pick a new set. LOL!
Sabrina, I certainly had fun using the 'pocket fun' stamp set. The pocket had been inked before, but the frog hadn't. I made two cards and have stamped some images to make more. I just love the sentiment, which was computer generated and found here on splitcoast. I will have to dig into my archives to find who posted it first. The third photo is of the inside. I haven't posted any of these cards to my gallery as I haven't had time.

Ina, it's funny that I just read your post about me posting cards, because I just wrote this long explanation on one of the PIF threads I play on. The embarrassing truth ...
Why I never get a card finished:
1) Decide to make a card
2) Need to clear the table off before I start, since it's filled with a bunch of stamps and stuff I pulled out meaning to use them to make a certain card (but never did, of course). Also, various new items I hadn't put away yet.
3) Go to put away a wood mount angel stamp, can't decide which tray it should be in. Am positive I have another angel stamp, so want to put it in that tray. After going through 11 of 12 trays, I find the other angel stamp I want to put the latest one in.
4) As I'm in the trays, I realize I need to rearrange some of the stamps. Finally get the wood stamps put away. In the process, came across a darling PB elephant stamp I forgot I had, and decide THAT is the image I will use for the card I want to make today.
5) Go back to the table, and go to put away the new India Ink black ink pad I have. End up having to rearrange my ink pads, because I want to have all my black ink pads in a row. Can't make up my mind what to do with the Orchid Brilliance ink pad that used to be in the row with the black ink pads. Had to make that row black, white, and metallic ink pads. (Did I mention I have 3 ink caddies to shift stuff around?!) Finally get the ink pad put away.
6) Go to put away a couple little square envelopes that were on the table (left by DD). As I'm in the drawer I come across SU long notes cards & envelopes. Think, "oooh, these are neat. I should use these!" Of course they're not at all in the color scheme that I would use for the elephant stamp.
7) Wander over to the shelf of clear mount SU sets to find a "long" image to use, thinking maybe a flower one.
8 ) In between all this, decide I need to snag on the PIF thread. Need to go make sure I have the set I want to list before I list it (since I gave away a bunch of stamps and might not have removed them from my Word PIF list).
9) The set is a Unity one. Makes me realize I have an order from Unity I haven't put away (I was keeping them out hoping to actually put ink on one or two before putting them away). I realize I have no more room in the totes I store my Unity stamps in. I start to look around to see if I can combine some stamps to clear out a tote. (No go, all full.)
10) I am now too tired and don't feel like stamping. Have new stuff on the table I just cleared to replace the stuff I put away! (Elephant stamp, long cards/envelopes ...)

Pam, you're funny! But I see myself doing a similar thing - some days I get so distracted!!
No crafting today - got caught up on the laundry and cooked up some meals for this week. Holiday tomorrow, but have a dentist appointment and I'm sure DH will find something that we have to do!! Then back to work on Tuesday.
Pam, I can so be there right with you! I only have a tiny space on my crafting/dining room table that is clear enough to stamp on. I keep moving things about and putting away and getting twice as much out, and papers everywhere! However, I am having a guest next week, so I will have to clear that whole table. That elephant stamp is adorable!

I know, he is adorable. I can't believe I forgot I even had him. In the last 30 minutes, I managed to stamp him 4 times. Twice on SU WW, and twice on Copic paper. I've gone through the gallery to find some samples. Now I can't decide what to color him with! I stink at coloring period, so it's not like I can use what I'm best with. lol I was thinking I'd use the Blendies, since I have those nice shades of Smoky Slate. I also have at least a few shades of gray copics. Then I saw in the gallery that most people used watercolors. However, I think Prismacolor pencils are the most forgiving. I'll just give them all a whirl. ;)
So last week I pulled out Build a Blossom from SU which maybe was used once since I bought it. My intention was to make at least three cards. Well, I couldn't come up with any original ideas, so pulled out a couple of older SU idea books and began to CASE a couple of cards. Then I was called out of town to take care of my sick granddaughter, so only got two cards made before I left. I'm over this set now, so will find something else to use for this week.
Here is one of the cards I CASEd. I still need to photograph the second card and do some editing. Will be back later today.
Thank you Pam! She had a virus and couldn't go to daycare for three days. but she felt better by the weekend. I like to think snuggling with grandma helped!
My spring tulips cards. I have had lots of time to play in my friend's crap room. The birthday card is stamped with distress ink, and the other card uses distress inks applied to the stamp and then spritzed with water and stamped, giving a sort of watercolour look.

My stamp set this week if PTI - Banner Builders. I have been trying to rotate stamp companies each week as well as use stamps that have never seen ink.
I didn't set a goal this week or last because I was away on business last week and my mom has been visiting this week and I haven't had time to make any cards. I went shopping yesterday and of course had to stop at Michaels and buy something. While I was putting it away I showed my mom some of the fun things you can do and she wanted to actually see how to do it so I made this card to demonstrate how to do embossing folders and powders as well as use the Big Shot to cut out framelits dies. And I finally got to use a stamp from one of the new Saleabration sets (SU Simply Wonderfuly)!
Ok, I know I did not finish the last set of stamps yet but I had to do a St Patrick's card for today's Free for All and can you believe I have never used a single stamp out of the Lucky Me set? I have so many sets that I have never used. :( But trying to use them all. So I used them all on one single card. Three are on the inside to decorate the inside but the rest are all on the outside. Here is my card with all the stamps in the set: Lucky Me! by Shoe Girl - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
This coming week, I hope to use a retired SU set called Fresh Vintage, bought used at least two years ago, and never inked it up yet. Seeing as I will be having a house guest all week, I will make only one card.

I didn't get to do my card last week with PTI Banner Builders. I ended up getting admitted to hospital and hope to go home later today. I will try and use same set this week as I will be off work few days.
Oh, Janet, I hope you will get better quickly. I have been MIA, but will try harder. I inked up a newer stamp this week. I had gotten it in January, and just now inking it up. Why do we have to have these stamps, and then don't even use them. I have several more new ones to ink up! LOL
This stamp set A Happy Thing. I love this little bird.
I didn't set a goal this past week but I had time yesterday to make a few cards - the following two plus 4 valentines cards for my nephews and niece (I know, a little late!):
I followed Ina over here too. Finally got through all the posts. ya'll have been busy! My crafty time is pretty limited, but I have used previously uninked stamps for the few things I have made lately. I'll see if I can borrow the BF's camera sometime in the near future to take pics and upload to my gallery.
So I know I was on on Monday but for some reason forgot to post which set I was going to use for this week. I think I'll use an old set this week and so that it fits this this week's CAS challenge I'll use the SU Because of You set. I'll shoot for 4 cards!
Thanks everyone for all the kind words. I am home from hospital and feeling much better. I decided to take a little time and finally make a card using Papertrey Ink's Banner Builders. I also used their set Inside & Out: Well wishes which I had never used. So 2 never used stamp sets in 1 card - Yea! Band-aid Banner Use It 2015 by gosh2fly at Splitcoaststampers
I like to check this thread out. I have been putting ink to some never-before-used stamp sets but haven't taken the time to post them. Some are already in the mail and gone. But I am enjoying making myself grab something new instead of the old standby stamps. Even been grabbing those dies and cutting and checking out sketches. Having a ball!
