Twisted Sisters Bus Tour #7 (Helmets required) New one
Hello, Twisted Sisters! Here is a brand new bus with challenges posted monthly! Grab your helmets and let’s get started! We will chat, (a lot) but since there will also be challenges we will be under challenges. I hope all former Twisted Sisters find us so we can catch up, but new ones are welcome. Challenges will be posted the first of each month. I will post our February challenge in the next post. The third post will be for all the challenges. Please volunteer so I know each month taken. Just let me know and I will put your name on that month, and after you post it I will list the challenge. That way everyone can look at the third post and know what it is , if they can’t find it anywhere else. welcome aboard. Is Shirt driving? I hope someone besides me is driving this bus because I don’t have a commercial license.
We are starting the bus again, as there is something wrong with the previous thread! Hope you all find this one! LOL

Ok...April Challenge it is. the above link should take you to her post of how to make the card. Obviously you don't have to make it bee themed, but you will want to have at least 4 different DSP that coordinate.
Can't wait to see what all is created for APRIL......

More info than you probably want to know. but I didn't get to do much card making this week. I had to have a very nasty procedure and was on a very limited diet for four days and one day of nothing but liquids and on the day of the procedure...nothing.
You ladies would not want to have heard my growling stomach afterwards. Fortunately, all went well, and I can eat again. Sorry if this is more info than you wanted to know.
All I know is that I can't wait to get back to making cards again.

Jill, I am glad all went well. My husband had some tests on Monday , and had to fast, too, but only from supper Sunday night . And tests lasted from 7 until 11. He was very hungry, when he got home! He couldn’t have his morning coffee either, and that was a biggie! LOL
I am glad you found us. I am wondering where everyone else is.

Sharon, It's possible that people haven't checked in because of the holidays...busy with family, etc.
Since I don't think we are going to see any family today. I think I'm going to try and make a card (s)

I know that Jayne was on a trip, but back now. Shelly is on a trip. Rebekah is on a trip. Not sure where Jan, or Jan Heartsong47, or Gracie are. Oh, and CarrollAnn! I really thought if I got that poll off, that we would have more chatter.
Hi Ladies just got back on the bus, we’ve had family over for a week, lots of fun with five year old GS, since they left we’ve been washing, cleaning etc more bad weather so loads of cleaning outside so still getting rid of sand that came down with the rain.
I love the April challenge but it will be the weekend before I can venture up to my craft room, apparently Spring will be here from tomorrow and we will be having 20+c, bring it on as we’ve had over a month of rain.

You could send a group PM with a link to the new thread. That would give everyone a chance to check in.
Morning fellow busateers........predicted to be warm today. Am hoping so as i will have 3 grandsons and a trip to play anywhere but grandmas is long overdue. This group will be the twins and the 8 year old special needs boy. they play well together so should be a nice day. but it does mean no card making for me today...as they don't nap.
Have a great Easter weekend everyone and see you on the thread/bus again next week.

Beautiful cards in our gallery! Terry, I did send a PM to some.
Pansy have fun with the grands, more important than paper!
I am glad that Jan in Spain got to have her family visit! So hard when our kids live so far away! I get to fly to Georgia in May and then we drive to South Carolina to see middle grand graduate from college. It will be my first time to fly or travel since before Covid.
Well, house should be back on my property after today....Last week 60 mph winds from North and NW and today they are still 60mph but from the South.........
Tired of the wind.....chilly as well....
No cards today as I ended up shopping for a new microwave as my 10 year old one said "enough" over the holiday. Bought one at Target, home to unpack,,,,found door wouldn't latch so back T to return it. So to SAm's---only one microwave in stock and it was way too small for my needs....so to Walmart---found one , bought it, unpacked, door, clock and timers work so should be back in business......Of course while in those businesses I had to see if I needed anything else--so left T with two new towel sets (been on the needs list for about 6 months--just too lazy to go find them)---Have I mentioned that I hate shopping.!!!!! If I can't walk right up to what I want in 3 minutes I don't buy/go. and I bought a pull wagon/cart as I need it for this weekend to haul "Stuff " around a botanical garden photo shoot I am teaching out on Saturday....this body will turn 75 Friday and I can not carry all my gear just on my back anymore---hence the cart.---At Sam;'s I found some really cute dinosaur storage bins made of canvas that might entice my 6 year old twins to actually place their dirty clothes where they belong.......so bought two sets.......also restocked the afterschool treats box for all my boys. At walmart I only came out with the microwave....but I did stop at Menards because I needed some potting soil and seed starter trays. I want to try growing dill and parsley to entice butterflies to lay eggs so boys and I can capture the caterpillers and watch them go into chrysalis and then hatch.....we did it two summers ago and they loved it so time to repeat. Finally I am home and everything is unpacked, detagged and stored so am going to putter until time to make the school run at 3.

Wow! Pansy, you amaze me. You will be a young 75 for sure! I am 76, and not half as busy as you are!
ok,stopping the bus, to pick up Ina! Although today it is cold, windy, and drizzly! But no rain, just sprinkles. We need moisture so badly. But at least no snow!
Any one on this bus with me? I feel like I am on here by myself. What is everyone doing? I scrapped some pages today, and cleaned my craft room this earlier this week. I need to be making some cards,
Yesterday, I got a haircut, and walked in a park a and found some letterboxes, kind of like geo cacheing if you are more familiar with that. Was nice and windy.
Pansy , are you guys dry there. We just can’t buy rain. So dry.
Waving to the back of the bus…Maybe you all are back there snoozing.

Sharon saw your message, and I wanted to at least check in. I have not had time to make any cards lately, and I am behind commenting here at Split Coast and on my blog. It's been a very busy time for us. (With both good things and some Not so good things... (which I don't want to share here) Everyone has their own problems... I promise I will try and post tomorrow.

Happy Birthday, Pansy. Your birthday is on the same day as my sister's birthday, and I did get to go out to lunch with her on her birthday. Hope you did too.

Waving hello,
I am on the bus, just having a quiet day- lol- that does not happen to me too often! LOL
Sharon is telling me about letterboxing and I am going to look up some locations and give it a try. It sounds fun!
Has anyone else tried it?
I cleaned a bit in my craft room today, and need another hour or two to be happy with its status : ) I need to do some serious destashing! And, stop buying too, LOL
I was able to use a die at the craft retreat a couple of weeks ago- a stitching die, so working on stitching a bit tonight. That's a card that would need to go to a stamping friend so it does not end up in the garbage.....lol
Sharon I’ve been busy with Steve’s ankle being crook, he couldn’t put his foot to the floor for two days so I was playing nursemaid, something I’m not good at, haha
trying to get back to my scrapbook, it’s all laid out ready but that’s as far as I got with it
Sharon, I have been sitting at the back of the bus, reading a good book. It features a lady who is 69, who keeps saying "At my age, I can't ........." We know better than that, don't we? (Insert my name, Sharon and Pansy)Belated happy birthday wishes Pansy. You are an amazing woman. All you do, especially the care of your grandchildren! I spent an hour with my 2 local grandsons yesterday, and I was exhausted! Mind you, the (almost) 6 year old, who is non verbal, was screaming a lot of the time. Not unhappy, just screaming, in between smiles. He did give me a hug and cuddle when I was leaving, and that is a HUGE step.
Sharon, are you driving us to church? For those of you who don't usually attend, come join us! If not, maybe one of you can grab the wheel and tour around the countryside while you wait for us.
