Hi all...thanks Sharon. I've never hosted a challenge before...how scary! But, I'll give it a go for August, my birthday month! You'll have to let me know how it works!
Mondays (and every other Tuesday) are my GD#3 babysitting days, but I won't be going this Monday, she has come home with her 5th cold this year, compliments of daycare on the 3 to 4 days she is there. She barely gets over one and another begins. She survives very well, but unfortunately, I haven't. I've had three horrendous colds since November all compliments of my sweet Evie! They last up to three weeks, and I'm just down and out. So DD#1 decided I need to stay home when she sick. DD#1 works from home as a credit rep for a custom picture framing company that is part of Berkshire Hathaway (Warren Buffett). Her corporate offices are in Georgia, and she is their west coast representative. Evie is an easy child, so she actually accomplishes work and Evie, but it's exhausting for her. Daycare is very expensive, so I've tried to help her by taking every Monday off her expenses.
Need to post my VSN mini, so will get going...happy crafting!

Carlene, we are easy and layed back here. You just post the challenge right here in the thread, not like hostessing really. LOL
It is up to you if you want to post a challenge that is a theme challenge, or a color challenge, or a special fold challenge, or a technique challenge, or whatever else you can thing of. You can see the first two challenges in post 3. That is where I will link each post challenge. This whole year our keyword is TSBT722 (meaning Twisted Sister Bus Tour#7, 2022)
Also, what month do you want? We have August, November and December open for this year.

Thank you Sharon for that good information. I request August...my birthday month. I have two other birthday cards needed for that month, one for my Mom, who will be 98! So, it seems a good one month to produce a card for the Twisted Sisters!

I think my VSN card for mini #1 will work nicely for our March "spring" challenge. We always know spring has arrived when we start hearing the chirp of birdies in our yards!. It is also a sympathy card for one of our SCS friends whose Mom just passed away!
Well---spring didn't last long....LOL! First day of spring and we receive a blizzard warning for Tuesday....began raining about 6 tonight and is to turn to snow soon. Amount won't be much (2 inches or less) but the high winds will keep it in the air and causing visibility problems and the rain under it will go to ice and create hazardous driving conditions. Maybe New Zealand would be a good bus stop for now.???????

I'm in Northern Nevada and it's supposed to be 70 tomorrow and 80 by Friday. Sorry Pansy. Maybe the bus can stop in Reno!

Welcome Carlene, Your card is beautiful. I can't believe how many challenges your card fit it to...Wow! Nicely done.
I just took a quick visit ot your blog, and I will return later and comment on some of your beautiful card.
One thing you said on your blog...caught my eye...I could so relate ...when You said something because of the covid, etd. You were in a slump with creating cards. I went through that too. It does feel good to be back making cards again.

Sharon, I'm not taking care of my grand right now but might have to again but not sure. We shall see. Been busy upgrading my house. Got new carpet in my master, had it painted, new floor in master bath and paint in there too. New floors in great room, kitchen, entry and hallway. New carpet in family room too. It's like moving! I still have tons to put away and lots going to yard sale. I'm finding out I'm too old for all this!! LOL!

Sharon, I see that the poll above here is supposed ot close on 4/1. I sure hope it disappears when it closes. I know you and I had talked about that when you started this group up again. (And I am so happy that you did start it again.). It has made me make more cards and post more here at SCS.
Question. You had talked about the VSN...when is that supposed to start?
I think the date was mentioned a while back but I forgot to write it down.

well--it snowed Monday night--a little...was mostly gone the next day...today we had a 5 minute snow shower that melted before hitting the ground. The wind kept the chill going though....My grands were not happy about having to wear their heavy winter coats to school again this week.....temp has been in upper 40's and low 50's so far....

Pansy, we had freezing rain here this morning, so the buses did not run, and most schools were closed. So the kids had a remote learning day.

I don't know if it has a name. It isn't difficult.....I found it on Pinterest originally,,,but a debbie henderson had posted it.....If it doesn't pop up for you I will make a set of directions and share.

Ok...April Challenge it is. the above link should take you to her post of how to make the card. Obviously you don't have to make it bee themed, but you will want to have at least 4 different DSP that coordinate.

I have been making Spring cards, but keep forgetting to add the keywords for this March challenge. I made a card tonight with a bird and feathers for VSN. I love seeing Robins- Spring has arrived when we see them!
fun card Shelly.....robins are thick here for some reason....usually only see one or two in spring but I have had dozens in the trees and grass lately...must have good worms in my lawn....LOL!

I'm back and waving to you all and the bus so I can get back on. I'm behind on the challenges and as for folds....eeekkkkk...I'm not a fold girl but hope to try when I get chance. So far behind on things and jobs at home and in a few weeks I will need to get off the bus again. My craft stash never saw the light of day the past month and goodness knows when I will get back into my craft room.
On that note I'm going to park my butt on the seat on the bus, and think about what needs to be done. Oh by the way, I brought back some wine from some of our wineries. Anyone want a glass? Cheers

As the gasoline prices have been going up in USA I was wondering if the same problem in Australia? It would cost a bunch to fill up your travel van.
Lucky for the Twisted Sister Bus, we don't have to worry about gas prices--we just have our craft budgets to manage. Why are new goodies so tempting?
TeriJ, the prices are high and especially for diesel. We paid $2.30 per litre at one service station. Petrol is $1.71/litre. Cost $80 today to fill up my little car. Our prices have always been high.
Yes it's a good job we don't have to think about gas prices on our bus LOL. Happy day
