Jayne I did wonder about you being the driver after your test! Depends how big the bus is, do you remember summer holiday? I loved that film.
we used to sing going on holiday but all the old songs, “she wears red feathers and a hula, hula skirt” Was my favourite,ha,ha,my sister used to have car sickness so it took her mind off it!!
Jan I just saw on Sharon’s posts that we need helmets..yikes. I wonder where we are going to need helmets. I think if I drove you would need them. I’m not good driving at night so I think I will pass on being driver. I hope they get one soon. It’s good to see the bus filling up.
I loved summer holiday too. We used to sing it when we went on holiday lol. I remember the hula hula skirt song too. I used to get sick on the bus and especially if I sat at the back. It happened up until I was about 12 and then suddenly stopped. Many a time my parents had to ask the bus driver to pull over lol. Even now I can’t read in the car and also get motion sickness on boats and small planes. When we set off to go to the seaside we all used to sing Summer Holiday. I used to love coming home in the dark and listening to everyone sing and being so happy after a day out at the seaside with their rock and kiss me quick hats lol. Those were the days.

I did a little research in the Twisted Sisters archives. I got back as far as tour 3 in 2008! Still didn’t find out why we are the Twisted Sisters! I joined in 2009. And we have had a broken down bus for several years! So we needed a new one, and since I started the new bus I guess I am the driver! Surprise! That is why you need helmets, Jayne! LOL
Still haven’t heard from everyone that was on it a few years ago. Jan, Jill, and Carroll Ann were on it when I joined in 2009. So was Lesley, Shirley & Sue. Have any of you heard from then recently?
I will go ahead and start the bus, and we can stop and pick up the others on the way. Hold on to your helmets, because I have never driven a bus! Rebekah, pass out those cookies, please!
Well, Sharon, I guess I'll hop on the bus, too! You know there's going to be trouble with both Jayne and I on this bus! The G&T girls! LOL We just can't miss out on any fun that's to be had!
I see that Jan, heartsong7, wants to rename the bus group...how about the Rollicking Ramblers since everyone likes to chat and have fun! Rollicking means: boisterously carefree, joyful, or high-spirited.

Could I purchase a ticket for the bus please...? I am trying to sign up for challenges that take one card each month as I do better that way. I would also propose the challenge for April if that is available.

I was browsing the Forum and saw this thread about a bus and twisted sisters. I am intrigued. Someone asked about new riders, so I thought I would stick out my thumb and hitch a ride. Where are we going?
Can we change our twisted sisters to something a little more straight?......lol
Why do that? I don't think it would have caught my eye if it said the Straight Sisters Bus. Doesn't sound like as much wicked fun as twisted sisters implies.

Ours is mostly gone...I still have some in both back yard and front where the sun can't get to it long enough to totally melt.

Good morning Twisted Sistahs! How do you like the new bus? We have fancy leather theater seats with large comfy arms and cup holders! Is that nice or what? And if we want to watch craft tutorial, a tv comes down in front of us! Look around tell me what else you notice about our new bus?
I had orginally put the key word in wrong...so I just went in and changed it... It didn't show it changed hopefully it will later on.
Sharon, thanks for some of the "Twisted Sister" History. I wonder too, what happened to some of our previous riders.
Pat Smetters, is the one who first told me about this group/ and challenge.
I did a search in my gallery, and the first card I posted to the Twisted Sisters challenge was in February of 2012! 10 years ago! Wow where did all that time go..?

Morning friends and fellow passengers! I had a weird time early this morning around 3:30 am. Woke up and as I woke up, I wasn't feeling good. Very nauseous. Yuck. I finally went out on the couch so I wouldn't wake up DH more. I sipped a little grape juice and had a few bites of graham cracker b/c I felt so weak too. Weird. Woke up feeling ok thankfully, so I could get the dogs up and going and get the kids off to school. Had my quite time and then went back to bed and had a good sleep.
Listening to a live zoom session and then another one and then must get busy with my day! Hate having to go back to bed, but needed the zzzz's.
Good morning! I hope everyone got a good nights rest. I had a busy day yesterday! I led a card making class at a local Seniors facility. Later I even got a scrapbook page done! I posted a blog post on my blog. Last night I went to our ladies Bible study potluck. Today, I plan on crafting. So what are the rest of the Twisted Sistahs doing? Am I driving too fast for you? We already have five cards in our gallery. If you haven’t been there yet, check it out. .
Good morning Sharon and all our bus riders! I have so much to do. I need to set some priorities. First comes my grandson. Gotta get him up, changed and fed. Might actually get a card made. Got some shopping to do too. Busy, busy.

Morning! I've got my little guy home with me today. He had a bad headache last night and is congested today with an occasional cough. Might as well stay home and make sure it doesn't work into something worse. We just got our free COVID tests delivered so that might come in handy lol.
I do plan to stamp. He isn't so sick he needs constant care and he loves to play quietly on his own. And with the dogs. He can zoom with his class first thing for calendar time, so that will be nice.
I hope to get a little box of Valentine goodness ready today to send out tomorrow.
Good morning Sharon and Twisted Sisters! The bus sounds fabulous! I love the massaging seats and little floral window shades. The bathroom is so well lit with a beautiful tropical decor!
I'm getting ready to hop off the bus...heading to Maui for a couple of weeks. Yes, Sharon, you can jump in my suitcase or better yet, fly over and stay with us for a week or two!

thanks for the invite to Maui. We would love to come and stay with you, but DH doesn’t want to fly at this point in time! Have a wonderful time. I will stop the bus for you to get off, so you won’t hurt yourself.
Sharon, you asked where the bus is going. As I see it, being a tour bus, it will take us wherever the road leads. Seeing as it picked me up in the snowy north, it is no wonder that Gracie wants to get off and go to Maui. I can already see that with so many fun and taleented people on board there will be .lots of action and activity. Roll on Sharon!
