This is gonna be my last entry for today...been a very busy day, but had a lot of fun with these challenges...maybe I can do some more tomorrow. Have fun!
I've posted challenges 1,2,3 but but my card for challenge 1 the SC is still not posted and I posted it first. I checked and I did write WCMDSC08 is the keyword space is there a problem with that thread????

Thank you for your response. That's how it sounded but I wanted to make sure that I was still able to. This will be my first time doing a challenge or uploading. I've the weekend to myself and I'm on a break from classes so for once I've got time to do whatever I want, it's all about me this weekend!! :-D
Your cards are gorgeous. Mine will certainly be no where near that talented. Hopefully attempting challenges will help me better create. I'm worried about the looks of mine but everyone on here is always so supportive.

Doing challenges will help and also the support from all the great people on SCS. Always there with supportive comments to help everyone from newbies to experienced.

The reason I do the challenges each and every day is because they stimulate to make cards I would never dream of making otherwise. It's amazing how these challenges help you reach levels of creativity you never thought you had! Your cards will be beautiful. Not to worry! And they don't have to be elaborate. There is something to be said for simple, which, where I come from, is known as "understated elegant".
All you have to do is believe in yourself. And don't compare yourself to others -- it's self defeating, for one thing, and it's apples and oranges for another because everyone has their own individual style, their own little touches and hallkmarks that let everyone know that a card had to have been made by you (and I'm not referring to the thing on the back that says it's yours LOL). You are the best at your style of cards.... your style reflects you, your taste, your sense of color, your individuality, and your personal approach to life. be proud of it! Be proud of YOU for even being here and doing this!

OK ladies - got #4 done and #5 painted but these old bones are weary. I'm tottering off to bed and will pick up in the AM where I left off, and photo everything in the AM in natural light.
Night all... and sweet dreams of challenges and sketches, and no P's, and trees, and well... all that stuff LOL!
Thank you for your kind words. I don't know why I've been so scared to post out here, I'm a big "lurker" as you all refer to. I also don't have the time I used to with school and whatnot.
Although I've the weekend to myself and I've been down alot lately (finances and incidents at my job that I suddenly don't like now), I knew I needed stamping time. With all the stuff I have, it's "free" but I wasn't feeling creative earlier. Now, I am and I'm excited actually about my first challenge. I'm already working it out. This is FUN!
My card has not shown up in the gallery for the WCMDSC08 I uploaded it hours ago all my other cards have posted can anyone tell me why this, my first one, has not. thanks

It looks to me like you've posted 4 cards today...
What a day!! My creative juices (what little I have) are drained and I'm heading to bed. Thanks for making this a great day and fun challenge for all of us.
Hope to be busy uploading cards for all the challenges tomorrow night.

edited to add: Oh, you mean it's not showing up in the sketch challenge gallery. I think your keyword has a typo in it. You can fix that yourself... just click on "edit photo" near the bottom of the box with all your card details, and then fix it in the keyword box.

I have had such a fun day, been going since early morning. My brain and back have just given up on me, so I will stop for today.
Thank you to everyone who has organised this wonderful day for us. I haven't done a challenge before today-thrown in at the deep end.
