I think this'll be my last for the night. It's 10 minutes to midnight here and I'm headed to bed as soon as the clock turns! Thanks for a great challenge! scsnye06 mkl by eliotstamps at Splitcoaststampers

An Asian fling with Bling!
Happy New Year, everyone!
What a great idea this was... although I couldn't play each and every challenge, I love them all so I tried to double up where I could. I managed to combine Asian influence with enough bling to give the light meter on my camera some headaches.
Oriental and Old
When I noticed this scrap of paper on the floor this morning, it was my starting point for Jenn's HCE challenge, but I had in mind that (long after my bedtime last night, so too late to join in) I'd seen this challenge when I was looking through the party challenges from last night.
Sorry about the bad photo, too dark too busy...but I'll take a better one tomorrow.
I like Asian and rarely do it, so I enjoyed this. Thank you, Cindy, and a Happy New Year to you.
Reposting my try at the Asian challenge. I did not fill in all the details again, since I did that last night. But here is my Beautifully Asian card. First time doing an Asian theme. It is very plain and simple, but I loved the dp in the sample card and realized I had some scrap pieces of that same paper in my stash!
Here is my card for this Challange- A bit late I know - just trying to catch up!
I am not one to make Eastern or Asain cards- so this was a challange for me! I do like the way it came out and the Bright colors-

I stumbled upon the 'unknown' challenges. I have no idea why I chose to do this one . . . I don't have anything Asian either except for Eastern Blooms. I then remembered I had paint chips! Voila! Bamboo & Blooms by gigs at Splitcoaststampers
