I'm here...stamping like a mad woman and my desk is a total wreck!! Finished 4 cards but I can't keep up with the threads so think I'm just going to give up stamping for now. Besides, my husband just came home from work and there are football games to watch. Later.

Okay, I found my 1 retired set that I haven't packed up. After I made my card I saw the part about 3 layers, so.... I guess I'm over that but I did use nice flat embellies! Enjoy: Delight by lovinmy4boys at Splitcoaststampers
This is alot of fun. My 9yr old son is trying to stay up & wants to play every game we own. So, the deal is that we play 3 games & then I get to make a card. Hopefully I get to go thru all the challenges before the night is over.
I used CIRCUS TRAIN & RIVETING for this retired stamp challenge. I even used retired DSP, cardstock & ribbon!!
I just happened to pull and older retired set out of my stash last night that I never ever used {gasp!} . I bought the set for the sunflower, but used the rooster for this challenge. I went for the rustic distressed look. I am pleased with how it turned out. Here it is:
OK, i know mine is a bit of a stretch because it has foam dots and a ribbon tie but here in Canada it would be mailable despite the layers because it is under mailable weight and thickness! I have never even inked the sundae or the sentiment before. Sundae card by Rebecca Ednie at Splitcoaststampers

I received a whole tote full of stamps from my mother-in-law when she left for Florida. You will never guess what retired set was in there!!!!! Wild Wild West!!!! So doing the happy dance!!!!!
Here is my hunky Retired Cowboy card. I also used some retired in-colors. Doing very well with my New Years Resolution to use up my stash so I can buy more!
What a great challenge. So nice to keep things simple every now and again and to use some really old sets that have been collecting dust. Here is my card.
Thanks for challenging us to dust off those old sets. I got this one at a garage sale so cheap I was almost embarrassed. It's not even listed in the gallery. SCSNYE02 by StampinAK at Splitcoaststampers
