SCSNYE02 - Remembering the Past
Hi everyone! Often on New Year’s Eve, I find myself reflecting on things from the past year. This
Limited Supply Challenge will deal with the past, too.
For this challenge, your card should meet the following conditions:
Use a *retired* Stampin’ Up stamp set for the main focal image of your creation. Stamps that will be retired at the end of the Fall-Winter 2008 catalog don’t count… You need to use something that was discontinued prior to August 2008.
Keep your card easily mailable – 3 or less layers, with no really lumpy, bumpy embellishments.
It’s OK to use a current
sentiment stamp on the front of your card so long as it isn’t the main focal point. (See my sample card linked below.)
When you upload your card, please use keyword
SCSNYE02 so we can find your card in the gallery! Also, if possible, in the details section please include the name of the stamp set(s) you used.
Have fun, and have a very happy 2009!
Here's my sample card:
Love You Roses

I'm still working on the first one. This one will be easy for me since almost all I have are retired sets. I buy them from garage sales and when my demonstrator has retired sets for sale. Working...........working............

I would check. All the old hostess ones you might have from going to a party or mini catalog ones are all retired.

Ramsey, if you're not sure, just post the name of the set you want to use, and somebody here will know whether or not it's retired.
