HCE11 Simple Tole, 12/30/08

My challenge for you today is Paper Tole- Now I have seen this done a few ways- so do which ever you prefer. SCS has a tutorial on the resource page found here. I went with a simpler style.

You can do it with either a flower, or any image that lends itself to paper piecing. I have two samples- one with a flower, and the other a bird.

Paper Tole is the art of constructing a 3-dimensional image from a 2-dimensional print

Snoopy Flying in the Winter
I was so happy to see that we had paper tole (d�coupage to me) today. At last a chance to ink up a new stamp.
Thank you so much, it's a technique I enjoy (love all that cutting out ) but don't often do without something to nudge me into it.
