Hi from Nebraska. Today's the first day I was able to get online. I'm enjoying my girls a lot. Today is a walk-a-thon at the school and I'm going to walk with my DGD. DD is doing great. You wouldn't know she had surgery just a week ago. She's pretty tired out by the end of the day and a little sore. I knew I wasn't going to be able to keep her down. The youngest DGD has the sweetest smile with a lot of mischief in her eyes. She's on the go all the time until she falls asleep. The apartment complex DD moved to a ocuple weeks ago has lots of room for the kids to play safely. Lots of trees for shade and a pool that will be filled after school gets out. Would you believe I haven't stepped foot inside Michael's or Hobby Lobby yet. Maybe later today and maybe not at all. We'll see.
Sounds like everything is going well. Don't worry about the shopping, You can always do that on-line. Just enjoy the grandbabies. ;-)

Thanks for the challenge! I had to make a graduation card anyway! Here is mine. I had to take a tutatorial to make it. Won't make another one. I am not good with special shapes, but thought it was cool. Remember, I thought I was done with May! Forgot about graduation!
Well, I was wrong. I realized tonight that I still need two more cards for May. I have to make a birthday card for my neighbor for Friday and an Anniversary card for my DD.
So, have to get cracking!
Sharon
Okay, I used a card out of my stash for the birthday for the neighbor. But here is anniversary card for our DD. I am pretty sure that I am done for Ma, unless something unexpected comes up.
I had trouble uploading cards today, finally went back and re-edited/saved two cards that were apparently not in the right format. I really didn't make any changes, but the next time I tried, they uploaded. Computers!!!
I've sent out 5 birthday card from my stash, as well as one sympathy card from my stash. I did upload my April CCC12 / Christmas cards, and hope to get my May cards done before the end of the month.
I've made two more cards for the S.S. ladies, but haven't uploaded them yet. I did participate in today's TLC and CAS challenges to make a general encouragement card which is always nice to have on hand.
Hey girls!
Home from Nashville. Have the grandaughter. Now trying to find a routine. Right now she is content to play with the cat while I play catch up. But I promised her ice cream at 7 p.m. (20 min.) so here I go to catch up!

Yeah... May will get you. Are you looking ahead to any weddings in June? I had 2 for May. I've Favd the original so I'd have the link to the tutorial.

I made two of these graduation cards tonight. I cased Sharon's. I still have to do three sympathy cards. I'm behind on them. I think I'll do an OSW with just sympathy cards. That might have to wait until Friday when I'll have all day to work on them.
I have to share a funny story about my youngest granddaughter who will be 3 in a couple weeks. While I was in NE with the girls, I tried (not too hard, I'll admit) to talk Lyra into using the potty chair. She would just say no. The other day, after Lyra's daddy took her home, she decided she had to use the potty chair. Of course, DD and Bailey, the 9 yo granddaughter, made a big deal about it so now Lyra is so proud of herself, she is obssessed with the potty chair. The other day, she told her mommy to stay out and locked the bathroom door. But she couldn't unlock it. DD had trouble getting the door unlocked and had to call maintenance, who just laughed because they get calls like that several times a week. In the meantime, Lyra told her mommy she wanted out now. Sheri told her she had to wait because she couldn't get the door unlocked. Instead of getting panicky, she just said "OK. I go potty again." When they got the door opened, Lyra was sitting on her potty chair eating Pringles. She was perfectly content waiting for them to let her out. That kid isn't afraid of anything, unless it's a little dog she doesn't know. Big dogs are ok.
We are in a winter storm watch right now. My dental hygenist told me she woke up to snow this morning. She lives 20+ miles south of town and in the mountains. It's supposed to be rainy all weekend. I don't work tomorrow, work on Saturday and have Sunday and Monday off. I really do need to get my sympathy cards done and finish my CCC12 cards for May. So I'm really hoping I'll be able to do a lot of stamping tomorrow. Then I have to start on a guest book for my boss's retirement party. I have until the first week of August to get it done. The book can't be small because there's going to be a lot of people at her party. This is going to be a challenge for me because I'm really not the most creative person in the world. I always need inspiration from others. It's also going to be fun.
After a few interruptions, and a technical difficulty, I made 3 sympathy cards. I cut out an OSW to make just sympathy cards. I still have to put the rest of the pieces together. The technical difficulty, actually an oops, came about when I put the first 2 cards aside. I put the third card together and was trying to figure out what happened to one of the first cards. I figured I'd find it when I started putting things away for the night. I found it all right. When I picked up the cards to take them to the scanner, I found that I had put the third card together on the back on one of the first cards. I guess it could have been a reversible card. I don't know how I missed seeing that. Must have been all the interruptions. I just cut the card in half and put the panels on a white card base. Easy save.

Oh my! I did that once, and I saved mine the same way you did. I like your OSW sympathy cards.
Alright! I'm done with May, having made two cards for the ladies class, my final May birthday card, and a set of masculine cards for the Card Ministry.
Thanks so much, Jane, for letting the other AOCC participants know about this. I am so honoured. And it was such a surprise - totally unexpected as I still have so much to learn from the stampers on SCS.
