Linda I don’t know this site but the p stands for pence similar to cents. So basically think of the cost from 1 pound sterling which is the UK currency. That’s approximately 1.5 USD but you would need to check the rate daily as it can change.

Thanks Ann for the tip. I’ve got 2 bags full of BGs already but I’ll never say no to more. I did start a waterfall scrap page yesterday which took me a while and will finish that today. Good luck with your flooring.
Hope you all had a nice Mother’s Day and were spoilt.
It’s 27 degrees here today..just gorgeous weather and good for drying the washing.
Had a message from Jan and she’s been in bed with gastro. Hopefully she’s ok by now.
have a great week everyone.

My son has his AP exams for the exit of the school year and it's been a grueling couple of weeks!
I'm counting the days until summer.
Jayne - drying outside on the line is my favorite! I grew up with 'outside sheets' but my kids are always stuffing the dryer, lol.
I'm sorry I don't know anything about the website but imagine being a UK site it's probably in pounds. I love a few of the UK sites but shipping to the USA is quite high!
Good morning! It looks lovely outside, definitely warming up. I heard noises in the back this morning so hopped out of bed and, sure enough, got to see five deer nibbling on what they could find. One was relaxing laying on the ground. I know they are a nuisance, but I still love to see them.
DD1 and I looked for bath towels yesterday after work. (She went down the hill with me as she wasn't working and we are on a mission to find bath towels.) Apparently, my color tastes aren't very available currently. I like bold color. We finally found a color that was acceptable to me (though not really bright enough) but the store was out of stock and no idea when, or if, they would get more. It's almost enough to cause me to buy white towels and dye them myself!
Yay for new flooring, Ann! What kind are you getting?
You know, I play and make backgrounds and then there they sit. I somehow don't get them used!
Bokeh is a lot of fun, Kelly. I'm glad you had a lovely Mother's Day.
Melody, you all should get together! What fun you would have.
Linda, add me to the list who isn't familiar with that website.
Jayne, thanks for the update on Jan. I had been wondering about her. I'm glad you got some scrapping done.
Kelly, my DD2 is counting down the days not just until summer but until July when she goes to New Hampshire to visit her best friend. She can't wait! Though she is having trouble finding summer clothing that she likes.
Aloha Sistahs !!! Just doing a quick check in since I havnt been feeling to well lately and I missed getting on for Mother's Day to wish the bestest Sistahs a Fairy Hauoli Belated Mothers's Day!! Also a much Aloha with loads of love!! I hope I can at least make more the 1 challenge !! Gosh that pretty awful to go from all to close to nothing 😂🤣🙊....chat with all of you soon as I can!! Great job sis Ann!!as always you rock!!
Thanks for your input ladies... Dose anyone know good place to buy aprons so many in a packaged That I could easy to modify add the ladies initials at my church. I wanted cute aprons any ideals? Thanks Linda
Hello and Happy Hump Day! It's almost the weekend! LOL
Linda- I do not know of anyplace that has aprons.... do you have a kitchen supply place near you that does wholesale to the public??? A place like that may have aprons : )
We heard that a friend of the groom from the wedding I was at tested positive to Covid after returning home to Austin, Tx.... lovely....she was fully vaccinated too. I had a Covid test and results back today..... thankfully it was negative. I was chatting it up with her too! She was adorable : )
Jayne- thanks for the update on Jan- was wondering where she was! It sounds like your weather is gorgeous! Are you still on lockdown???
Catherine- sounds like your MD was wonderful!!! I would love to have my girls come back home : )
Melodie, Jean and Ann- I would drive up for a meet up : ) How awesome that would be!
Ann- hope the floor installation is going well- bet it will look fabulous and nice too when it is all in and furniture is back in place!
Waving Hello Victoria- hope your Mother's Day was fabulous!
Thanks Jayne for posting about Jan. I was wondering where she was.
Catherine, I am looking for some bright turquoise towels and for some reason I am not seeing them anywhere. Walmart had some but they are made in India, and I try not to buy from India as they do not set their dyes, so the colors run. I bought flannel sheets one year that were a gorgeous red and cream pattern but made in India. I woke up with pink feet, lol. I had washed them before using them. At least I got my money back from Bed Bath & Beyond. They told me I was not the only complaint.
Kelly, I grew up with outside clothesline too, but have always lived in apts. in my adult life, so the dryer it is. Hope your son does well on the exam(s).
Linda, I don't know about the site either. Just that it is in the U.K. and while they have great stuff, the shipping will be costly if that is what you were thinking of doing.
Ann, hope you get a good rest tonight!
Hi Victoria and all!
Happy Birthday Anne (Jdmommy), for the 12th. Hope you have a wonderful day!
Dh and I are meeting my brother Bruce for an afternoon walk tomorrow. It is supposed to rain but only in the morning. Hope they are right!
Happy birthday to you happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Anneeeeeee, happy birthday to you. Have a wonderful day and I hope you get lots of red things
Shelly, not in lockdown...was only for 3 days and no masks except on public transport. I hope that your result comes back negative. We have had 2 cases here where people were vaccinated and then tested positive and passed it on....we still haven't had our vaccines...waiting.
Waving and sending hugs to you all. I have to keep moving or I get sidetracked.

To my dear friend Jayne, thank you so much for singing to me on my birthday!! What a treat! Mwah........hugs and kisses!!
Celebrating this Saturday with friends at our favorite restaurant!
A few years ago I gave myself the gift of cleaning ladies......every two weeks. They are here today, making my house spotless, and smelling so nice.
About to make my second cup of coffee, and just SIT. The mess in my addict....er..craft room can wait. I'll clean it up later.
Spent a solid two hours in the yard yesterday, moving perennials, digging out dandy's and weeds, and then the hot tub. Must have really worked as I have NO aches and pains today. Yay!
Happy day everyone. See you later.

First things first, Happy, happy birthday, Anne! Coffee and relaxing sounds like a most excellent plan to me. Glad the hot tub was so effective too!
It is definitely warm out here. We are into the mid 90s during the day down the hill. So, my bokeh card is called Snowstorm....and I stayed up too late last night making it. I usually try to make my sketch cards (and combine with Alphabet) on the weekend but didn't manage that this last weekend.
Linda, the only place I can think of is Oriental Trading Co and I'm not sure they would have bulk adult aprons.
Vickster! So glad you popped in. I hope your Mother's Day was fabulous. Sorry you haven't been feeling well, hugs to you!
Shelly, my girls haven't left yet! And believe me, I have been very thankful for that fact all during these recent times!
So thankful your test results were negative...
Shirl, thanks for the info about India and their dyes. I have been looking online (which is scary for towels because I like to touch them) and now I know to avoid those made in India. We are looking for a similar color. I've been looking for a vibrant teal - but if I found a vibrant turquoise, that would work too. I'm just finding pastel ones for the most part.
I did not grow up with clothes drying on the line (though the weather was certainly good for that in Eastern Oregon). What I have noticed though, is that the clothes don't seem to be as soft as they are when dried in the dryer. There are probably things to do to fix that, but that was limited experience with line dried items.
Hi Jayne! Glad you popped on for a second to say hi!
Ann, that is so exciting getting new flooring. I hope you share photos! Pounding...not so much fun but the results will be wonderful.
I'd better get off here and go make my lunch and head to work. I'll be back to comment on cards and will chat with you later!
Happy birthday, Anne!!! Kathy, love that birthday video, especially because it's correct. I'm picky that way.
I'm guessing testing positive after being vaccinated means they got a variant.
I have met Ann, about 50 years ago. She trained me for a job at our local theater. I was in college. She lives just north of me. It would be fun for we WI/IL people to meet.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Grandson Jake popped in theis AM.....he graduated from Quinnipiac Univ. on Sunday with degrees in two houses......Science and Arts.....and with honors. We took him out for lunch at our fav watering hole this noontime. The rest of today will be R & R. hugs to you all.

Linda, there are online places that sell aprons, but their prices may be prohibitive, depending on how many you want to buy. The wholesale houses usually (not always) require a business for you to register on their site.
Happy Birthday, Anne! I hope your day is wonderful!
Florida is experiencing the usual craziness with long gas lines at the stations - and our gas pipe lines werent even affected by what happened in the news. it is getting hard to navigate around this town! The lines are so long they spill into the streets. Remember the gas shortage of the 70s? I was living in Europe then but remember the stories and photos.
Thank you Catherine for letting me know about me posting my card to the wrong thread! I also realized I never posted my A card to it either.
got to go catch up on the chat.

Thanks again to you all for the birthday wishes. I had a really nice day, got lots of cards, ate out, and heard from all the kids and grands.
Today my big plan is to put up cup hooks on the side porch to hold roll-up shades. WE get heavy sun late in the day, and it becomes too hot to sit out. At the same time, I'll put up the strands of white lights.....I love the look.
Got up to a cool house. The heating system says it's on, but it's only sending up cold air. The HVAC people will be here this afternoon. Did you ever notice how owning a home is always a money pit??? Our house is over 120 years, and to get the charm of real wood and a fabulous fireplace you can stand in we also get surprises that we never counted on!!! We've been in this house 42 years, replaced everything that needed replacing (walls, kitchen and baths, stairs, septic and heating systems, air conditioning, driveway, etc.), and yet we still get surprised. Actually, we love our house, and wouldn't have it any other way.
Found out our town has a problem with the water......they are giving out bottled for drinking and cooking. Waiting to find out where that will lead........did I just mention surprises???
I MAY do a bit of hosta moving, provided I can sneak it in while DH is running some of his errands today. He will have a fit if I do it without him (aren't men just so slow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Have a great day. (And Melody, that posting was so funny!! Thanks!)

First load of laundry for the season out on the clothes line....my favorite aroma. Believe it or not, I know people who hang laundry out all year round, even if they have to shovel a path to the line. I don't' see that being productive but whatever floats your boat.
Anne, I have only ever lived in old houses, although not that old. The house I lived in from age 13 until marriage is close to 100 years old, as are the two houses we bought. Last one was built by my paternal grandparents...I have pictures of the land being cleared by horse and plow. I can remember a trip to New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine, driving through little towns, established in the 1600's. Nothing like that here.
A water issue???? Oh what a pain. Many years ago, Milwaukee had a Cryptosporidium issue, some people died. I hope this is a short lived problem.
I stood in line for gas in the early 70's, just to be able to drive to college. I think we could only get so much at a time and could only get gas every other day. I'd have to get up early to get in line. Oh the good old days.
