I wowed myself with some wonderful results on my watercoloring skills today. I have always admired pretty water coloring painting and having taken a few art classes in college, I knew the difficulty of this media, and although I haven't practiced it much to get better, I have enjoyed the new Wednesday challenge that features it as the media used for the challenge. It gave me the motivation to give it another try.

Playing my Challenge Catch-up cardmaking, this one's for Letter C/ Children. The card is for my granddaughter, Sienna's keepsake box...a year late, but done nevertheless: A Little Pink Ballerina for Sienna!

Well, what do you know...this is not a "Challenge Catch-up" card, but an actual current one! YAY!
This one if for the W = WOW card, based on the ballerina requiring lots of modifications, fussy-cutting to design body part, and Copic coloring. In addition, adding the glamorous tulle netting to her skirt. This a FUN card to make and a labor of love. I was thrilled with my end results after I totally changed up how she was put together after watching the three YouTube videos. My method made for a much more finished looking card, I think. My three granddaughters LOVED their own ballerina cards (each in a different color)!
