I'm posting the mid-March challenge for you. We already had a challenge to use bling, and my challenge is similar but it is : Glitter. You must make glitter a major part of your card. You can use glittered cardstock, Stickles, glue and loose glitter, whatever you like but there must be glitter on your card.
I have a selfish reason for posting this as my challenge. I need to do two birthday cards by the end of March. One for an 8 year old girl who says there can never be too much glitter. The other for an 12 year old girl who loves glitter and butterflies. So I'll be working on two cards for my own challenge.

I looked back and I don't think I posted how many cards I will need to the month. Sending cards from my stash to my niece and nephew and mom's birthday card is done. Going to hand deliver it this weekend. So I'm good for the month. Three months in to the year and I have actually send cards every month instead of just collecting them!
I'm still here. We've had storms the last couple of days. I've taken advantage of having the computer down to clean out the office side of my Studio. I hate the 'putting stuff back' process LOL
Spent Tuesday in the city with my sister. Very little shopping. Hardly any of the DCWV slabs for March were on the shelves. So disappointing.
I'll get everyone caught up on Sunday. I HOPE I'll have lots of cards to comment on by then.

Thanks for being on top of things and getting this posted, Susan. :-) I'll get it added to the master list in a few minutes. Great challenge!

We've had some great challenges come through so far. We are down to where I only have 1 volunteer for each of the next 3 or 4 months... and then no spots filled at all. Please consider taking a spot.
You do not have to create your own challenge if you're not comfortable with doing so. You can direct us to a blog where you've enjoyed doing a challenge, any number of the challenges here on SCS (Not all of us get to those challenges so it's good time to introduce us!)
Here's all I need:
1) Tell me which date you would like to host the challenge
2) Either the day of your challenge - post it to the thread
or - PM it to me a couple days ahead of time and I can post it for you
3) Have FUN!
Not so hard, huh? hehe

DARN trains go by and start grass fires.
they're about 1/2 mile apart and thankfully yesterdays put me in the middle. and both fires were right at road crossings. PHEW makes getting them under control alot faster
in 2004 a train started so many for 30 miles that trucks were running out of water.
The farm I was living on was a total loss, The house, vehicles, out buildings.. all gone! Huge mess to clean up. Worse part was the lady didn't' have insurance. and the RR really cheated her
SHe needed money so badly I was able to talk her into selling a piece to Clint's dad. That is ths 15 acres we are buying now.
(I even asked it a few years back)
Deb I see this question a lot here on SCS, but now I found it in a new spot
As a SU Demo we receive a monthly magazine of how to's updates and congrats to high ranking demo's. Well on the very back page is like a part of a dictionary [age.
CASEing Copy and share Everything... it goes on, but one of the cards they have displayed to CASE are my faves from the catty.
Couldn't believe it! On page 197 at the bottom with the butterflies.
I really want to do that one for a work shop but I have NONE of the stuff used on it.
LOL
I am trying to use some of my stuff on hand before buying new things.
I have a few cards made but haven't scanned them yet, well I WOULD but my Cat has stolen the cord :( she's 4 years old NOT 4 months but clearly still in a kitten stage :(
I have a Riley hockey player, a summer Santa and hopefully if I finish them in time 4 reindeer cards.
Clint got a boxer lab mix puppy just before my surgery. She steals everything!
No chewing (thankfully) but she takes our shoes, my purse, the dog dishes and the Kitty beds, and hides them under our bed.
My kitty Spook, he steals things off my craft table, Ribbon is the worse! LOL
Since your post, I started clamping my phone charger to the table leg so he can't take it! LOL

We've already had a few grass fires around here, too. The other day there was a big one just east of town. It started only 100 feet from someone's barn, but lucky for them the wind was going in the opposite direction. It took 30 hours just to contain the fire; the winds were so bad and kept changing direction. It burned 1200 acres. It was caused by the RR also. I don't know why they let their crews weld on the tracks during high winds. We had a little sprinkling of rain yesterday. Looks like it might rain today. Sure hope so. Last winter helped us get out the drought we were in, but with no snow this year, we're going to be right back there.

I have shortened my list from last years, but I stayed on time with cards!
I gave my 'stash' box of cards away, time to restock that thing! LOL
1 of my sisters likes my cards.
I just mailed out a dozen cards , just for something to do.
I only have 4 for April.
My oldest sister is turning 60, her daughters are doing a video card. You call this phone number record a message, then the girls will compile them into a a cd
Sorry that I've been so neglectful ladies. I find it hard to get the time to just come here and chat. I really need to update my gallery with what I've been doing. I just finished 3 projects this month for my Bowdabra commitment, but I can't post any of them until they are posted on their website. The really hard part about that is creating the tutorials for the bows that I make for the cards. I have to take a picture of each step, so it takes a lot of time.
Vikkijo, the flowers are lovely. Here in H Town we've got azaleas blooming all over the place and my gardenia bush has a ton of buds on and I can't wait to see it bloom. It hasn't in the last 2 years since I transplanted it.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

O.K. Here all the way up north in Canada......it's definitely been spring these past few days....72 degrees today and sunny. Awesome! I spent the day raking the gravel off the front of my lawn (the roads crew plow the snow on to my lawn, but that's better than on the front of my driveway. After that, I also managed to start cleaning up some flower beds...have the ones in front of my house done, and the tulips are about 5 inches high already. I'm afraid they'll take a beating when we get our inevitable snowfall in April.
Love the hyacinths, and also the St. Patty's day rainbow. I don't send any St. Patrick's day cards...don't have any Irish relatives or friends.

I know rain is a good thing, but I so don't want any for awhile
My driveway is about as long as a city block. it gets really slimy and we can't drive up it with too much rain
30 hours to contain a fire! Holy buckets!
That was just to contain it. They couldn't call it put out until the ground was cold and there were no flare-ups. Luckily, no damage to any buildings, and no animals or people were hurt.
I better get busy with my cards. I shouldn't have joined any of the other challenges. Oh, well. I might find time to try to create. This time last year, I was way ahead of the game.
Hi all -- just dropping by to say hello. I've been up to my eyeballs in alligators the last couple of weeks, but now VSN is done, fundraiser basket commitment is done (I will post those cards for April, lol!), and classes are almost wrapped up for the season (2 more weeks, yay!!!). THEN maybe I can come hang out more!
I'm just gonna say...I am SOOO jealous of all you with spring-like weather. It has been spitting snow, rain, and hail here for the last couple of weeks, and doesn't look like letting up any time soon. Snowing and raining and windy off and on all day today. And my poor little violets trying to be brave and bloom in the dreadful weather. BLEAH!
Sorry for being a bit absent but I've *finally* finished 15 of these Bunny cards for Easter. The pale gray on the bunnies didn't show up very well sorry.
Well, I'm just finishing packing, off to run a few errands, and then at 11 I leave for the airport to fly off to see my grandsons in Austin. I can't wait. I won't be doing any card making for at least a week.

I may be seeing my granddaughters sooner than I thought. I may be flying to Nebraska to help DD out after surgery. They found cysts in her uterus yesterday. We're hoping the cysts are in an area where they don't have to open her up. She doesn't know when surgery will be, yet. I hate not being close to her when she needs help with the girls. If school was out, I could bring the girls home with me.

I'm posting the April 1st Challenge. "Fool For Tools"
Let me see you use your favorite craft tools! Describe what tools you used when you link your cards in the APRIL thread. Come on over to the APRIL thread and I'll show you some of my favorites! ;);)

Good challenge, Dianne. Good timing, too. I was planning on making some cards using one of my favorite tools.... the Silhouette Cameo. I have 5 birthday cards to make this month.
That's AWESOME Angie! Go you! Glad we could work together.
Couldn't have done it with you Kelly! Pulled a card from my stash yeterday for a bridal shower and I have two in my stash I have been saving for my niece and nephew for Easter. Those will go in tomorrow's mail. Other than those two, I don't need a single card for April.

You have a Cameo? Oh I'm so jealous!!! I'd hop over to Havre to play but, it's too stinkin' cold today! The high today is 40 degrees, what happened to spring?

Dianne, you should have hopped over here today. It was pretty nice. I love my Cameo. DH is beginning to appreciate it, too. He's making a sign for his SIL's massage therapy business and wants to put scrolls in the corners. It's really hard to do something like that four times and have it look the same. He drew what he wanted, I scanned it and brought it up in the silhouette studio and cut it out so he had a stencil. I'm so glad I made the investment. I don't have to find storage space for cartridges and I can make my own designs, which I'm not very talented doing.
Kelly - I will take another date to chost a challenge. After you update the list, I'll let you know which date. Anytime should be good.
Debbie - Glad to hear that your Cameo is a good investment. I wish I had bought that instead of a Cricut. We woke up to an inch of snow this morning!!!! Come on Spring!!!
