My card kits from Susan's (PSU_Mom) Guys and Dolls card kit swap arrived today and they are just wonderful! Susan has been an awesome hostess...so fun and helpful! She did a great job as hostess and I would never hesitate to participate in her swaps. LOVE YOU, SUSAN! ((((MUUUAH!))))
is a wonderful hostess. She has lots of helpful swaps. I just got our "Punch Card" swap back. It was an SU! based swap. You got the negative and postive of every punch SU! carries! These are very helpful to know which set will work with which punch without having to buy everyone of them.
She has excellent ideas and I just wanted to tell her....

AW JUDY AND JEANETTE!!! Oh my gosh, thank you so much!! That is such a wonderful compliment and makes me feel so much better about hostessing my first swap!! :-D
I was fortunate to have SUPER swappers---all of you Dolls made this easy and fun!
And I have had so many GREAT hostesses to learn from - Kadie, Mary, Judy, Jeanette, Paola, Kat, Vee - this list goes on and on and on!!! I will have to remember this thread so I can give my future hostess their props, too!
Big Thank You to ira456 for going above and beyond her hostess duties. I was a first time scrap page swapper and sent my pages in a box. Cost me $16 so I told her to keep the pages because I can't afford to spend another $16 to have 3 pages sent back to me. She found an envelope and cardboard and packed my pages for me. Saved me plenty of money and taught me a lesson on how to send swap pages. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for your compliments! This was my very first time hosting a swap and I really enjoyed it. I am glad you're happy with the way it went. Reading this brought the biggest smile to my face.
I wanted to thank saxontoy for hosting the Mother's Day swap. She really organized a great swap and many of the cards she received are going to shelters so that mom's there can receive and send cards!
So, kudos. I think this SCS has a wealth of generous, sharing women and I'm proud to be associated with them all. :mrgreen:

I agree too! I was pleased to participate in this swap for a very good cause and happy to donate my swap cards to it! Kudos to our hostess!!!
I'd like to recognize Colleen (cspangler)! I've been in a few of her swaps and always had great experiences with them. The most recent one I was in, she made a big effort to save me money on postage. She had gone to mail my swap and found the quote too high, so she took it home again and repackaged it and found a way to get it back to me for a fraction of the price! Thanks so much!

She's wonderful! I was just in her Trade Images swap and I got my images back super fast and she even had a little thank you card and extra goodies in my return package. The swap was worth participating in for her extras!!!
I have 2 hostesses I would love to recognize for their patience with a newby, their kind and accepting comments, and their great attention to detail, so i felt i knew what i should be doing throughout the swaps. LisaCox1980 was my first ever host for the anything goes inchie swap, and i'm now addicted to making inchies. Laurie (ira456) got me through my first border and layout swaps, and gave me great suggestions for getting my pages to Canada. Thank you to both you ladies for making this a fun experience. I immediately signed up for the new process so i can continue swapping! Hugs from Kathy;)

I would like to recognize SmartBug (Moira) and her sister megrod (Megan). They're so understanding and they are always willing to pitch in and angel spots where people have dropped, so that their swappers get back complete swaps. They end up doing a lot of extra work in their own swaps besides what a regular hostess's duties are. I really appreciate all the work you do! Thanks so much ladies!

I would like to thank jguyeby (Jennifer) for her hard work in the current swap I am in. It is my first swap and I now plan to keep doing these - so inspiring!
I have to say, she goes above & beyond what I thought her job as hostess would be. She communicates with everyone and also replies to questions, etc very quickly - she is awesome! Just wanted to shout out a huge THANKS JENNIFER!
I wanted to take a moment to recognize Vivian (blusky)
She keeps the swaps she is hosting alive with her humor and response. She strives to host an excellent swap by:
- Keeping folks informed and up to date
- Being responsive to questions
- Communicating with everyone when issues arise
- Keeping it light and fun with humor (and especially the banter and exchange between participants)
I would say that because of her lighthearted fun and frolic, she got me in the mess I am in regarding swaps. With all the fun I was having, I ended up signing up to participate in almost ALL her swaps and almost all of Jessica's and a few others.

And Yes, it's all your fault. I have no life, because of all the swaps I have to finish.
But I digress. This isn't about MY PROBLEMS, it's about recognizing a great hostess.

I just wanted to put a great word out to meluvstampin--the host of teenage card swap this last month! What a fun swap! These cards could be for male or female teens and we got some great ones! What I thought was fun was some Trivia our hostess put on our swap and we won prizes! How fun was that! REALLY FUN! Meluvstampin was a great host even though she had to go to the hospital during that time! What a trooper and a great hostess! Thanks so much for a really fun swap!!!!
I'd like to recognize Amisparky and Scungilli - Ami and Melissa were so kind and encouraging to me in my first two swaps. I am now firmly addicted, and have recently signed up for another swap with Ami.

I've had two great hostesses lately - chipchick, whom I did two swaps with, and Patty "LaLatty" --- both gals stay on top of things checking in, chatting and getting to know swappers, answering questions, and are so prompt in sending back swaps. Thanks for great experiences!
