Happy Friday Girlz!!!
I have a super simple layout for you, and it was created with the intention of LOTS of journaling...but of course you can do whatever works for you! Hope you like it!
Remember, sketches are meant to be a starting point. Feel free to flip, resize, alter, or do whatever you need to make it work for you!!! Minor tweaks are expected, but if you feel a major overhaul is needed, you might browse through some of the older sketches for inspiration. There is no time limit for these challenges, so use them at your leisure!
If you play along, please share your hard work with us and upload to your gallery! Make sure you add SBSC130 to your keywords (additional keywords are OK, just separate them with commas), and PLEASE post a link here in this thread; we would NOT want to miss it! Also, if you aren't a FAN CLUB member, please observe the NO UPLOAD on SUNDAY rule! :-D
You can find all submissions for this challenge here: SBSC130
Great sketch Sally! I'm hoping to get some scrappin time this weekend
Thanks Donna, I'm always hoping for that too! :p
I actually need to make 4 bday cards and start party invites for G, but maybe I can sneak in a little scrap time too! ;) hehehe
great sketch sally and it couldn't have come at a better time. I was just laying out these photos and didn't like how they looked. I remembered today was friday and you had just posted the new sketch.

Great sketch once again. I haven't been able to get any scrapbooking done lately because we are in the middle of a basement remodel. The good news is that once the carpet goes in next week I will be able to move into my new crafting space!!! Can't wait! Anyway, I am really going to try to use this sketch and at least complete one page tonight! Thanks for the idea.

I'm wanting to play. I just participated in my first Sketch Challenge for Cards on Wednesday. When I printed out the layout for the card the print out was true to size for pretty much all of the ones that I printed out.
Can anyone tell me is there a trick to get the scrapbook Sketch layout to print true to size...like a template? Thanks for any replies. I can't wait to get started!!! Michelle

Michelle, we are glad to have ya!
It's really just a guideline for your page. But if I were to guess I would say the large image should be 4x4 (since photos are generally 4x6 and this is square, but you could use a cropped 5x7), and the smaller squares could be 2x2 or 1.5x1.5, it really depends on the pics you want to scrap! Or the smaller squares could be embellishments or stamped images...
It's your page, so really anything goes. I just try to provide the initial inspiration.
Wow, you girls are on the ball. I am still trying to catch my breath from VSBN!! Hope to get to work on another wonderful Sally sketch tomorrow. Had a marathon day of scrapbook shopping today with my mom, whom I have gotten hooked to all of this. She is on our side now, Ha, Ha, Ha(in evil tone)

LOL!!! I so totally relate! I did it to my mom too. Way to go!!!
I made a little mistake on my journaling..if anybody can think of something little to put over the mistake...I welcome the suggestions...THanks!!!
Another fantastic sketch Sally!!! Thanks!!:-D
Thanks Jessica *blushing* you are such a sweetie!
Here's a tip for ya:
If you goof writing your journaling out by hand, you can use a craft knife to carefully scrape the word (or a letter) away. I misspell words sometimes and have done this to fix my boo boo.
The only other option I can think of is to type out your journaling and print on card stock to attach. Change your margins first to minimize waste, and you'll be all set!
Hi all,
I love this sketch, of course! Your dh was right, it's nice and 'clean' - although, I managed to busy it up quite a bit, lol. I can see so much I could do with this l/o sketch - including cards. If I EVER get my order, I'll try one out and post it to show ya' what I mean.
Thanks to Aprildawn for the caseable background (I lifted it from the one she did for Ngaire's stamped background challenge - one of my favourite favourites!).
