I'm another one that doesn't buy an ink pad unless I can get the re-inker to go with it. It's a big pet peeve of mine....why sell the ink pads if you aren't going to sell re-inkers?

I've used mine with dye inks frequently and you get a different look than with pigment inks or paint, but it works. Just depends on the look you're going for. I had no problem using dye inks.
