It looks like a bug square brown eraser. It's a solid bumpy piece of rubber (I think) that you rub across unwanted adhesive and it pulls it up.

Works pretty well

I didn't want to have buy EZ Mount since it is so expensive so here's what I did.

I sorted all of my stamps by theme.
Made 5x7 sheets of heavy...

I took over the kitchen one afternoon...
Put all the stamps left to do in 2 bins and hauled them out the kitchen. Had to take a break when my thumb got too hot! I covered the kitchen...

Finished UnMounting My Stamps! Yay!!

I finally finished unmounting all of my rubber stamps! I sorted them all. Then stamped the images on 5x7 cards, which I laminated. Then I took all the stamps off of the wood leaving the foam backing....

I just unmounted my stamps, but prior to that I stored them with the rubber side down. I never had a problem and had them that way for 4 or 5 years.

I did have some leak however. I figured out that it was because a few strands had frayed and were sticking out.

I use the sheets from the dry Swiffer Sweeper. You can pick up the refills at the grocery store.

I also use them to clean up spilled glitter and embossing powder.

I think it's interesting that some of the older cards from the ladies who have been stampers for several years really reflect the looks of the cards in the older SU! catalogs.
