I tried that. The envelopes do not fit in the pockets. I keep the decorated enveloped in a file folder in my cabinet labeled "Envelopes for Sample Cards." That way if I ever want to retire the card...

The ones from Amazon hold 5x7 cards, whereas the ones I linked at eBay hold 4.25x5.5 cards. The ones at Amazon would be good to hold the 6x6 or 5x7 card sizes, though.
