Im quite lucky over here in the uk I have found a product called tack and peel. it is double sided clear film, that you stick onto your acrylic block and has a top coat just like double sided tape....

12 x 12 makes a 4 x 4 box so it would need to be bigger than that. I would guess at around 13.5 x 13.5.
