I love seeing everyone's pictures! Awesome! I updated my blog this morning with today's picture! I am not doing scrapbook pages or anything fancy--just journaling and photos. I will post a picture of a completed week when my supplies arrive (they have been shipped). Yeah! Anyway, to see my picture for today, click here.

Hi! I just found this thread. I would love to participate, but there's no way I'll ever get my hands on an actual kit. Is that required? I take a picture a day easy - it's the journaling, etc., that will be the challenge, but a great challenge!!

Well, here is my pic of the day.
The highlight of my day, has been this cup of capuccino!
I'm addicted i think!
It's like a little dessert.
The text also says: The highlight of my day
I've also posted my first weekly layout and it's in my gallery
Ok, all I have managed to do so far is get some pictures posted to my blog. I think I am going to use the divided pages by Pebbles (I think??) and add in a few 12x12's...I am pretty sure that was someone else's idea first! I have taken one picture everyday so at least I am on track that way!

I started collecting pez oh i dunno, about 7 or 8 years ago. I have over 1500 in my collection now. I joined a worldwide pez chat group and needed a nickname and my DD came up with BRIDEOFPEZ and it has stuck.
I majored in business in college but work for a trauma center. Go figure.
started working on my new layout for this week last night. ITS BRIGHT!

Those of you who got the kit, may I ask a small favor. If you can, could you tell me what SU colors best match the colors fo the kit? I decided nto to do a kit but I want all my pages to coordinate. When I was trying to figure out a color scheme, I couldn't chose so I decided I would go with the closed matching the actual kit.
Thanks bunches!
Ps-I know white black and red, is the blue like soft sky?
Jen, so you don't have the 365 project kit? I'll go look for those pages by Pebbles.
Nope. I found the pages at HL for $4.99 for 20 pages. Each holds six photos.I am thinking I might do one full page LO each week then store the rest in the pocket pages. I hope it works out and I stay on top of it...
Are we suppose to be putting 1 page together a day or 1 page together a week displaying our daily goodies?
I'm not sure I am understanding the difference between "52 weeks" challenges and "365" challenges
I'm not sure about the "52 week" but for the "365" challenge, it's based on a kit and idea is to scrap a 2 page layout for each week. I'm not using the kit, I'm just scrapping a DPS for each weeks photos. Not everyone got the kit and not everyone is do a SB spread. It's pretty open to interpretation.
There really aren't any rules for the 365...at least none that I'm aware of....
i never heard anything about a kit. i just use what i have.
7 pictures with journaling (original idea had journaling on tags) per DPS.
so, 52 DPS per year.

Me too, Anavon - I am STILL in limbo, but still snapping pix. I'm kind of enjoying getting them on my blog, for now that's my main focus - getting in the habit of taking the daily pic and updating my blog.
Are you journalling about your pictures as you go, Anavon? What have you been doing so far?

I think I have settled on 52 pages-each with the 7 pics from the week and journaling-I am hoping that each week, one of our challenges will give me the inspiration for the page in some manner. This week it was Anavon's for sure. But I think I could have used the inspiration or the variety challenge. So many choices for us!! Reminds me of about 26 years ago when I as pregnant with ds1 and I had to pick a phone-I couldnt do it-so I stood in the store and cried so they let me have a 1/2 orange and 1/2 brown princess phone! Sure wish I had a pic of that now!
Anyway I updated my pic blog if anyone wants to check it out-and for those of you who really pay attention, you will see that I have already confused the days! I have my pic for day 8 as day 7 on my weekly lay-out--shhh I wont tell if you won't!

Wow! That'ts quite a collection! What a cool thing to collect. Is there different kinds in different countries? Like special editions stuff? Let me knowif you need any european ones, and i can see if i can get a hold of any.
and it has digital templates that are 2 page lay-outs with places for each daily photo and journaling. I am thinking this might be even a better way to pull this off and get all the pics scrapped. I dont mind doing a page a week, but I have so many other things to scrap that this might be a much easier way to get it all together. This would also make the finished project 24 pages rather than 52-which is a good thing
Soooo what do you think?

You can do whatever you want! Isn't that the neat thing? Like maybe do one a week when you have the time, or 2 a week, and when life gets hectic, one a month!

TFS!
The templates look cool. I haven't used a template yet, i think i prefer too change my layouts around a bit from week to week, so that it will be more intersting to look at in the album.......but templates makes things fats and easy, and that's a good thing! lol

And here is my picture of the day.
Last night i found a recipe online that i wanted to try.
It's kind of an omelet, but with bread, sausage(Or anything you want really) and eggs. First i put some pesto on two slices of bread, cut them into pieces, and put them in a pan. Then i cut some sausage and layered them on top of the bread. Beat two eggs with a some milk, added some spices and then some cheeze to top it all off.
The somewhat unusal thing about this dish (at least for me), is that you pop it in the fridge over night, and then you bake it when you get up in the morning. I know the pictures looks a bit grose, but it was really good! Very worth trying!
The journaling says: Luxury breakfast!

here's my thinking for this challenge for me: do a one page with all the pictures from that month on it and do a cordinating page with my 7 favorite from the month as well as the journaling. This way I still get a DPS, but with everything else I've got going on this year I won't go crazy trying to make it all look cute and pretty. I've gotten some free templates so I am going to try to use them. I think that'll work b/c the ones that I really like and took several pictures of that day will most likely become pages on their own
