I had a great time at my 3 day get away. Friday for some reason was a real quiet day and I was able to get some pages done without stopping to talk to someone. In total for the 3 days I was able to complete 21 pages.
Here are some more of my retreat layouts. I didn't take photos of all of them, and they are already in the books. I did get 16 layouts completed , and one card done, and worked on my Christmas mini calendars.
Terry, I love that idea about your business - a good way to connect hubby to your hobby too. I have found that scrapping pictures of our trips to see historical markers has made hubby actually really look at my pages again (he actually puts his glasses on - lol). I think if I scrapbooked his militaria collection he would really pay attention!
Hey all! Waving back, Jayne.
Here are two more pages I did this weekend at my retreat:

Hi Patti. I was looking back through my gallery and wondered if Candy was still scrapping. I know Lela is on vacation now but there are a lot of others that seemed to have taken some serious time off from visiting here as well. Really makes me wonder how they are all doing.
Sharon, Candy is my sister and I honestly don't remember her screen name. I am friends with Tam on facebook and she seems to be doing fine. Busy with her honey and kiddos.

Well, scrappers, I just booked my flight to spend 7 weeks with my granddaughter and the 3 babies! I'm excited but feeling a little scared, a little apprehensive about being so far away. Japan will be exciting and I am so looking forward to being with the family. I've never actually seen the baby Alaina and she is now a year old.
I will be posting the Inspiration Found Here for Nov and Dec, not for Jan or Feb, though. Plenty of time before I leave, must turn in now, so sleepy but too excited to sleep!

Joyce Ann you are going to love love Japan. I am excited for you too. Enjoy it all.
We head off tomorrow woohoo. I am excited too as NZ is a new country for us to visit. It's a short trip this time and to give us a taster of what to expect next time we visit when we will drive.
I've finally put together the birthday list...sorry it was late. I'm so naughty...I had totally forgotten with everything else happening this end and thanks to Amy for reminding me.
It's not a long list and I have created it in pages (for iPad/imac) and also in Excel. I thought I could add it to a pm to those who asked for it but I can't figure it out LOL. If you pm me or check the pm I sent to those who requested it with your email address I will email it to you before I head off. The next birthday is on 1st November *wink*...we have 2 in November.
Those of you who wish to be added to the list, pm me with your details.
Happy day everyone and will see you when I get back unless I have the net and can find time to pop on and say hello. Hugs

Wow...you ladies are on it this month! Lots of stuff in the gallery to comment on and I'm way behind. But, I was also behind in my scrapping so I chose that over commenting. But, I hit my goal for the first time in about 3 months with what I got done yesterday and today. Now I've got time to finish up a few more cards I need and leave some love in the gallery.
Happy Thursday and Halloween everyone. I’ve emailed the birthday list to everyone who asked for it except Lela and will wait until I receive her details.
On another note and in case I don’t have the internet.....this is early...
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Nancyyyyyyyyy, happy birthday to you. Hip hip horray enjoy your special day. Have fun. Hugs
I know it’s not until the 1st but I thought I’d get in a day early.
See you in a couple of weeks if not before everyone. Enjoy. Hugs

Hope all are doing what makes you happy tonight. I plan to go make a card then watch TV. No children come out this way. I did make a page today, the last for this month. I have the IFH challenge ready and will upload it tonight.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, Jayne! Happy Birthday Sharon (late) - we are close in our birthdays.
Joyce Ann and Jayne, your trips sound fabulous - you guys go all around the world - how exciting. We are going to Selma this weekend (about 60 miles away) - I am going to walk the famous Edmund Pettus Bridge (trying to do between 4,600 and 10,000 steps a say as part of Noom) and hit some other famous historical markers around there.
There is also a facebook Bible Journaling party I am going to try and participate in some.
So I thought I would get 25 pages done going to the crop, but I only got 12 in for the month. There is always this next month!
Hugz
