Ok, need some breathing exercises. Em just got acceptance letters from two of the three colleges she applied to. They are just academic acceptances. She still has to audition for the dance programs. The third school won't do anything until she auditions which is the end of this month. (inhale in, exhale out, inhale in, exhale out) Keep reminding me of that. LOL! Did I mention that all three schools are 8-10 hours away!
That's exciting news! I'll bet you'll both breathe a lot easier when the auditions are over. Congrats--wish her the best! :p
I am chugging along on my LOAD challenge, although I'm not sure I will be able to complete 31 layouts. My biggest challenge seems to be finding time to go to Costco to pick up my photos! Oh well, maybe today . . . Here are a few more layouts I've finished..

Who's scrapbooking this weekend? I hope to be tomorrow evening, time permitting! I'm in a photography class all weekend. I learned so much today! This is just the fundamentals of digital SLR cameras - using the manual modes to have the most control as a photographer. I play around with these modes myself, but didn't really know what I was doing. Now I'll have a little more idea of what I'm doing and why! lol Hoping to get even more great photos for scrapbooking!!

Paper Crafty Goals for 2013: 50/135 pages and 185/75 cards.
Here's another layout done for me. I am totally falling behind on my LOAD challenge, but I still have finished more this month than the past two months combined!
I finally got to sit down and scrapbook just a little. This page was slow to start, but once I hit the inspiration to write a letter to my son, daughter, niece and nephew it came together well. I used a sketch in Scrapbooks Etc June 2012 p53.
This week's Digi Girl Tuesday Challenge is up! Please play along - whether you are a digital scrapper or a traditional scrapper or somewhere in between. I think this is a fun one to get us moving easily!!

This IS an easy one (if I had the strength to scrap ) In August my DH rented a much larger location for his Machine Shop so we've been spending lots of hours getting it ready to move into which should happen by the end of this month. Then he's been trying to buy another business and once that goes through, we will have actual employees that will come into the new location along with a lot of other equipment, so I've been spending time getting quotes for everything from insurances, software, utilities and equipment, etc. And to top it all off, my boss decided that the hours he asked me to work back in January no longer suit him because they didn't total up to at least 40 hours a week (was 35-38 hrs) so now I have to be at work by 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. I've been exhausted getting up at 4:30 to be at work by 6. I usually scrap after 8:30 p.m. but I can't keep my eyes open anymore! So I apologize for not doing any pages at all lately...I've not meant to ignore anyone just don't seem to have the time or the energy to do anything other than what absolutely needs done at home anymore...Hopefully by the end of the year, things will be MUCH better!

I always hate it when life gets TOOOO busy! You'll find the energy to scrap again soon! Just take care of yourself and don't overdo it with moving and all!

It's terrible to be stretched so thin with no time for yourself. I agree, don't over do and stay well.
I've been sick for almost 2 weeks and last week I was on vacation. I had hoped to do alot of scapping but was too tired. I finally got 2 pages done Sunday night. Now I have to get them posted and move onto my next 2 pages!

Terry, wow, so sorry to hear about this change, that's quite alot with all you have going! I agree w/ all the others, rest and take care of yourself! We'll be here when you've got some time again to scrap w/ us :o

I finally took some time and visited sbc gallery. Loads of beautiful pages. I am uploading too! These 20 pages are from past couple of months (so not part of my Oct goal). I have actually only done 2 of my 10 pages for Oct. A few from my trip to Spain and a few for challenges but can't remember which but want to share. here are the first 5.

Scrapbook goal: April 7/10 MAY /5 YTD 32
Sorry about missing last weeks Thursday challenge. I had a few things to do out of town and then I thought I broke my hip. Good news no broken hip but lots of inflammation in the joint and worsing of the RA...YAY...not! So I have not been doing to much due to all the pain. I will have a challenge for tomorrow.
We missed you Patti! So happy to hear that nothing is broken!!!! I will watch for your challenge tomorrow AND I will do it!! I promise! I'm also working backward on the challenges - I really want to do the progressive ones, and many that I have missed. Challenges keep me working!!

I made a couple of Halloween cards for our young nieces and nephews tonight. Talk about fun - its been awhile since I have made a card and my signature has been taunting me that I had plans to make 75 cards this year. ;) I even finally unpacked the Simply Scored board I bought ages ago (probably last year this time) and then the Simply Scored Diagonal plate and got busy and made matching envelopes. I may be hooked! How fun is that!
Back to scrapbook pages tomorrow evening, though my mind is starting to contemplate Christmas cards...

When my kids were home with me, I wouldn't have had time to scrap much either. You lead such a busy, productive life, Mary Pat! There will be time someday in your future. You're doing good things for your family when it counts the most! Miss seeing your pages, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

I agree w/ Wendy! There will be days soon that you'll have more scrap time and great Event and GS Picts of good memories . I just went to a meeting and they talked about how important it is to "Be Here Now". In our multi-task driven world we can miss the good stuff! There are days I'm just as busy as before and then days (mostly weekends) for lots of fun stuff I wanted to do but never had time.

I just finished a dps for Terri's Using Pre-Made Templates challenge DGSC085 . This challenge is great for non-digi scrappers too. Just use a sketch! Sally has plenty here
I have 4 pages of my 8 ALMOST done. I'm waiting for a friend to bring me some paper tomorrow so I can print my journaling off and that one will be done. My other 2 pages lack ONE picture I forgot to print. I hope I can get that done tomorrow then I can post them. I can see where digi scrapping would be easier but I have so much in my stash.

I worked on two more pages from a kit last night! I changed the pic placement a little so they would fit better and now I think it needs something. Hoping to work on it tonight. Still need to print journaling for the other LOs...we ran out of ink...ugh!
