Hi Lynley...surgery went well. Right side of thyroid was very small and easy to remove....left side had a larger mass that was wrapped around part of the trachea and vocal cords so it was a bit more of a challenge, but all went well. Very swollen and sore. Pain is not to bad. Will get path report on Tuesday of next week. Doc says he does not think it is cancer so that is good. Came home yesterday afternoon. I am still very tired and weak but that is to be expected. The thing I am having the most trouble with is not talking.....do you know how hard that is. LOL
So glad for you that things went better than expected. And Liz is right...burn up those fingers talking to us

Wow....I actually scrapped today for the first time since VSBN! Had to sit and wait while my SUV had the tires rotated, balanced and aligned so I took my laptop and decided to work on another Disney page from our trip last year. It did take me a while to remember how to do things in Photoshop, especially since I didn't have the mouse along to use.
This is also for one of the Thursday Challenges from back in June to make a happy page with stripes on it! DGS is certainly displaying a "Happy" face in this page!
Hello friends... just popping in as deer hunter's widow weekend started and I'm thinking of doing something scrappy... my 4 yr old is with me, but he's headed to bed early as he chose not to nap this afternoon ;)
I saw this crop online via facebook if anyone is interested. I'm going to at least check it out to see if any mojo flows....hope the link works...

I may try and get some pages done today..(no talking required) but it will have to be after a short nap..yes I know it is only 9 a.m. but for some reason I woke up at 6 in terrible pain and this mental imagery is not working so off to get a pain pill I go. Hmmmm, Terry, I'm not sure why, as long as you log in with your google acount. If you don't have one, she might have "no anonymous commenters" thingy turned on. That's all I can think of.

They said it would be $30 worth of stuff, but that must be their wholesale value, because it's more like $75-$100 worth. So exciting!!!

Wow, we have some great new pages in the gallery! Lela and Melina, you were really on roll--and such fun stuff!
I'm hoping to break into my prize goodies soon and make a page or two. This week is gonna be tough--lots of Thanksgiving prep and other things to gear up for the holidays. I'm sure you can all relate to that!!

Believe it or not I'm at work today :-) subbing for the class I volunteer at dd1s HS. It's a lot of free time so I was able to load up all my photos, organize them, and back them up...a project I definitely needed to tackle! We are having a quiet Thanksgiving so I'm hoping to be able to edit and print out some photos and get some pages done...my mom's been laying a guilt trip because I never send her photos of the girls anymore. I'd love to get her a computer or tablet but she doesn't want one...can't tell you the last time I sent her photos...oops!

I'm sure I will be in your shoes soon. My DD just turned 6 this year and I can't believe it - where does the time go? Thankfully I have been scrapbooking all the fun times and memories so on that day when she DOES turn 17, I can look back and remember her as a cute little girl. Hmmm....perhaps I will have a good cry with you.... ;)

Hi everyone received wonderful news yesterday...pathology report is negative for any cancer. Now I just need to rest and relax.....doc said to please remember surgery was only a week ago....lol
