I hope all the moms here had a wonderful and happy Mother’s Day.
During this weekend was my son’s Jr PROM, you can imagine how many pictures I have now to scrapbook. Will I ever be done ? NO, so little by little. Then they went on a weekend at the beach to celebrate.
I have not being able to post my pages, but I have so many completed, when I get a chance I will.
Morning all, I have a wedding today. But I hope to craft before we head out. I bought the shop and save box from paper wizard, there are workshops all day!

Hi ladies! I've got a confession to make... lol
I've been working on my son's school scrapbook and just have his Jr and Sr years to go. My confession is that I made things SO hard on myself! I had premade a bunch of layouts thinking I could just go in and add photos later. Won't that be great. Well, no. Now it's later and that is SO much harder than starting with photos. I'm getting it done but I don't expect to take too many photos of these pages to share. Haha
But on a happy note, I'm headed to the Scrapbook expo later today and can't wait to wander around the booths and watch demonstrations. I've set a shopping budget so I can on my best behavior. Can't wait!
I hit the gallery a few days ago I think, (maybe a few more than that?) but i haven't been here much this month. I did just upload another digital layout for my daughter. I have a file of photos to print in the next week or so. But I think on Monday we'll sort thru what is DONE and put it all in her books, in order. Graduation is Tuesday!!!!
I have added 4 more LO from class into the gallery, some I need to repost with pictures and titles, but overall a great event. A Mini album and at least 2 more lo coming up today.

I hope you enjoyed the wedding and a day of workshops was a fun adventure. Hopefully those workshops will spur you on when you find time to play with your creations.

A group of friends got together yesterday to craft so I decided to work on my scrapbooking since I haven't done anything yet this month. Boy, getting ready for this made me realize I have to really prep before I head to CKC in July if I want to be productive!! I started by putting all the layouts I've done so far this year in page protectors. Now they're ready to added to the 2022 album when it's time to expand it. Then I put together a layout I had saved for when I got home because I had special card stock I'd purchased at the amusment park years ago. Then I did a Paper Loft layout with a flip book. Of course after I had put the photos in the flip book, today I decided I wanted to change the order so I had to reprint some of the photos! I guess I should leave everything for a day before I glue it down...LOL! I felt like I really got a lot done! I may try to get 4 more pages done today!!
I am impressed with all the work you did this weekend! The prom was great, lots of pictures! The wedding was perfect, except for the pouring rain! It was a fun night. Yesterday, I did a few small projects from the paper wiz box. And a card from my let's stamp together subscription. I was mostly resting. I have a list of cards and gifts I need to make for lots of graduations, birthdays, and our anniversary.

I think I am just going to pack Whole kit and kaboodle page kits and paper wizard page kits to work on at CKC. I have a system. I put the intricate die cut pieces together and then make the layout when I have pictures. I like to try to get more pages out of these pricey kits. This way I can just bring one box of stuff rather than everything I own! We signed up for a bunch of classes too. I am looking forward to it.

I think I'm going to try to match photos to the kits I have. Then I'll do what my friend calls "power layouts" & put everything I need for a layout in a page protector. I don't want to take more than I need either!!
I am so glad to see so many having the opposite time as me this month and getting a lot of pages completed. Here is a two page spread in my foster dog album for the stash buster challenge.
I was able to finish the other 2022 Christmas layout today! I'm like Joyce Ann & should be doing housework!! This was also for this months Stash Busters...thanks Joyce Ann!! I may hit my goal after all, 2 more pages to go!!
I've been doing some looking around for ephemera and find that so much of it is feminine or bright, primary colors. I need some other options but am on a spending hiatus. Last night, I realized I could cut a lot of the shapes and things I like to use with the paper I already have and dies. So this morning, I pulled out some basic shapes, word strips, tab and tag dies and got to cutting!
Then I finished the last two pages of my son's school years book. Yay! Grad page
I agree about the ephemera. It seems alot of flowers too. It's better now that I'm back home because I have my stash. Love your layouts.

I have the same thing happen when I go back & look at a layout. I thought about taking a photo & waiting a few days but I'm always anxious to get it done & post it.
That's a good idea! Take a photo before pasting everything down. I agree, if I walk a way for a bit and come back I will likely change something. Maybe I need a longer interval between and pasting down, too.

I have same problem! Sometimes I don’t see that a sequin fell off or that I didn’t get letters glued on straight, or spelled a word wrong!! until after I posted. LOL
Ladies , please copy and paste our keyword each month and put it in your keywords when you upload your projects. I am noticing some of your projects aren’t in our gallery. It is nice to go to our gallery and see everyone’s in one place each month.
