CK - I was just thinking of you - sounds like a busy, but rewarding time for you! You go girl!
Anavon & Bekah - way to go on the challenges! Love em!
Tam - I pray today is a better day and I too miss seeing your work. I was really looking forward to playing with you and seeing your stuff. Hopefully you can share what you do have so we can oooohhh and ahhhhh!
I'm working my dh macbook and it will be leaving me for the day in about 1.5 hrs so I'm out til later. I feel a little stranded with no e-mail and no outside connection, but this is good practice. Although I do all of our bills and stuff on here, so I'm praying i don't miss paying something while our computer is being fixed!
Keep scrappin' girls.... It's going to be a warm (80+) day here in WI so I plan to get in a walk with ds for my cardio challenge and open the windows fully to enjoy the lilacs and appleblossums in bloom!
Be blessed - talk at you all later!
Oh and I will be on tonite and post tomorrow's Thursday challenge early!

Hey ladies, don't know if you already saw it, but one of our scrappin' friends, elliesmom, (Jennie Thompson) made the Dirty Dozen this month! You can see more here if you're a Fan Club member: Art for Every Woman by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
I haven't seen as much of Jennie lately as I used to (wasn't she a challenge hostess a while back?) but it was still awesome to see her as a Dirty Girl!
It's great to see a scrapbooker be picked. (Not sure, but this might be a first!) Yay, Jennie, scrapbookin' rocks!!
If you're a Fan Club member, how about poppin' in and commenting on Jennie's stuff, since we see so few scrapbookers in the Dirt pile--let's give a fellow scrapper some support and LET US SCRAPBOOKERS STAND UP AND BE COUNTED HERE ON SCS!!!

Thursday's 52 week goals challenge - Week 21 - So Proud of You
Hello everyone,
I need to post this tonite because of computer issues....
When I thought about themes for May, I thought about Mother's and Memorial Day, and all the things that go on in May and thought about how proud we are of the loved ones in our lives. This week's challenge is to scrap something or someone that makes you PROUD. We are mother's, aunt's and grandma's; we are military wives and military moms; we have loved ones graduating or going to proms and doing all kinds of things this month that make us proud. I want you to get out those pics you've yet to scrap and tell someone you are PROUD of them. (You may also tell yourself....I see lots of goals being hit this month... so toot away.)
This pic was taken this weekend and I'm so proud of my son for even trying out for an all-school play. He's shied away in previous years and this took a big commitment of time and energy on his part (especially since he ended up coughing/sore throat through all 3 performances.)
Can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

Well Tam, even though that's one of my favourite kids' books (....I think I'll move to Australia) I'm sorry to hear you're having one such day.
Jumping in (splash!) after almost a month away - I can't believe I haven't even checked in on the thread yet - wow. Miss you guys - Deb, I want to go on that trip with you. Anavon, you're out on that side of the world and I think your hub owes you BIG time. So, how much does a trip like that run ya'? ish. You can pm me if you want to!

I checked it out at their website.... the cost isn't bad. I think we should all get together and go on one.
Yeah, I like the idea of putting money down now and then - maybe this will be my 2010 scrap to spend goal. I can't afford it this year though, I have home reno's on the horizon. sigh. Would be such a nice place to spend my 40th birthday though!

Hey ladies! I'm jumping in (again!!!) My grandfather had a massive heart attack right after I jumped back in last time, but he's much better and came home today.
Lots of great pages going on!!! I left a little love but it's too late to go back too far. Night ladies!

Wendy I just visited her gallery and I am in awe of her work! She is a true artist when she scrapbooks. Every single page is just beautiful! That is a gallery I will be looking at frequently!

Good morning ladies.
Lots of great stuff posted!
I am up to 19 pages for the month...if I can get 5 more done, I will have completed my DD's entire Halloween Album so far, I can't squish anymore pages into the little 7x7 album!!!
I'm behind in uploading, I'll try to load my pages this weekend.
One more week to complete May goals! Good luck!

Good Night Everyone.... I had a great Scrapping day!
My SU! party was a big hit and I was able to complete 5 pages tonight at class, so it was a good day. I will post them when I can get some good pictures.
I was just checking in to see if the final four winners were chosen yet.... I was hoping Lela was going to be around, I have a couple of questions for her.
My best friend is coming over today to crop so maybe I'll get a few pages done. I haven't done any this month. yikes! I did get my stuff done for a border swap last night so I am excited about that.
Annavon, I'm glad you SU party went well. I just got some SU paper packs from the sale they have right now. Can't wait to use some of it.

Morning Glories!
Today I'm forehead deep in homework (due Sun, Mon, Tues, exam Wed) so I guess I won't likely get to scrapping. Saw the CUTEST paper pack at Mchael's yesterday ...perfect for the little boys in my life... want to just take the pack, back-to-back the duplicate papers (to make 2sided paper) and then bind-it-all together as an album. Hmmm.... I guess if I get motivated I could make playing scrapbooking my award for getting the assignments done today.... send homework mojo, please???
Happy Saturday to us all!
