I spent a few hours scrappin this weekend. I will try to get those pictures uploaded this week. 5 pages completed - 11 more w/o pictures. I'm working on my DS's Washington DC trip. I'm going to be just slapping pictures on left and right - he took a ton and wants them all in the book!
very quiet, but hopefully with good stuff. I know I've turned off my computer during the day (now that I have one - yeah), to make sure I'm focusing on the kids better. DS1 thinks Mom is addicted to the computer so I'm trying to live by example...not perfect but a step in the right direction

Good Morning.....
For SUre.....Not Going to Girl's Camp.........Just sent them all off without me. I might go up on Friday for Skits and Testimonies, But not sure.
So now I am in the mood to scrap.... And I want to put my scrapping space/office together this weekend. Any suggestions on how to organize a whole room full of stamping stuff into a small space about 6X8?????
Good morning. I'm up and in my scrap room looking for my mojo. I'm happy to say this morning I awoke with out a headache ( first time in three weeks) . So I plan to scrap/ craft today.yeah !

i was feeling like my mojo had left me this morning. i wanted to make a card, but nothing seemed to be working so i decided to scrap instead. here's what i came up with:

Great idea Valerie! Sometimes we get so involved in the fun stuff online that we forget what we are really living for! And I can say that even tho my kids are grown! Maybe I need to turn mine off! No maybe to it! I KNOW I need to turn it off more...now will it get done? MMMMMM? Probably not!

The job hunting is slow going. Not exactly the best economy to be looking for work. I'm keeping my spirits up with scrapping, though. It's my port in a storm. Thanks for asking!

Well, as I was looking through the box the other day I noticed a chewed leg and headpiece from the game--guess my younger DGD hasn't totally outgrown that stage yet!

YEAH almost Thursday can't wait to see what to add to my journal! I have been very productive problem is I hate to journal so I have 12 pages done (minus the journaling- so it doesn't really count!) :(
Today�s 52 week Theme Challenge is named for those pesky little beetles that peck at your screen on warm June nights! My challenge today is called June Bug!
I want to see layouts of :
1)bugs � literally ladybugs, dragonflies, butterflies, fireflies.. you name it OR
2)Finish up a layout that�s BUGGING you cuz it�s not DONE� OR
3)Get your hands on some of that new BG June Bug paper and show us what you�ve got� (I haven�t seen it released yet, but I�m watching�.)

YUCK! we get lake flies around here that cover whole houses in bugs. we get the Asian beetles in the fall that cover things as well....
You don't have to have bugs though... one or the other - have fun!

I know what you mean about the ladybugs. One Fall they completely covered the front of our house. We had to use the back door. The entry way had an inside door to colse it off. When I opened it, there were hundreds inside my fornt entry. I guess the seal around our door wasn't exactly tight. I had to suck them up with the vaccuum. Funny how they only covered the front because it was warm and sunny there.

Today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday.
I completed it last week but didn't get it on here. That puts me at 2 of 8 for the month. I've been away from home msot of the last 10 days but the next few should be a LOT calmer.
Annnd, I'm hoping to buy a new digi camera this week (mine is definitely broken) but we'll have to see. I'd really like to participate in some of these fun challenges...!

i'm baaaaaack for good this time!! whoo hoo!!! can you tell i'm excited?!?
my goal for this month: 10 layouts - doesn't matter if its 1-page or a DPS, it still counts as 1 layout. 10 cards - can include swap cards (should be easy peasy since i do about 12 different swap cards a month!) 2 mini-albums/altered items/home decor projects - mini-albums don't count until they have pictures in them!!
so far i'm getting there... i have 2 layouts, i altered composition book and 1 mini-album awaiting pictures!! i tried to get in here and post last night but it wouldn't let me in!!! but so happy to be back and looking forward to getting caught up with yall.
I've got about 15 years of photos that have been "bugging me" to scrapbook. Sigh...where do I start? Where do I find the time with 5 kids--the youngest being 1 and getting into EVERYTHING???? (More violin playing in the background!) I keep telling myself, just do an hour a day, but even that hour gets swallowed up somehow. I love this idea...perhaps I'll finish my one year old's birth photos. Thanks for this one!!!!
hey girls, just checking in. haven't been scrapping much lately, it seems I am so tired by the time I get home from work, dinner, etc. that all I can do is sit on the couch. still dealing with some health probs. and additional probs. caused by the meds. some good news, though, I get a c-pap on Monday, and I hope a lot of my fatigue will be relieved by this. Just wanted to let you know I am still here. Now off to the gallery!

Hi Nichelle! I think starting with recent photos is a great idea. It will give you such a sense of accomplishment!
