I am back from ckc. We had fun. The crop wasn’t great. There just wasn’t enough space. It got really loud at night. I enjoyed the trip and the shopping!

Oh my goodness! Hello, Lela! It is so great to hear from your. Now, hopefully you can check in more. Congratulations on your new job! I didn’t know or remember. i am glad you are finally finding some crafty time. With all that globe trotting , I bet you have lots to scrap. And a food truck! That has to be some good scrapping ops , too. We have missed you!
I missed you too Sharon, I missed all my SCS Friends! I’m hoping to be back regularly… tonight I got one more layout done. I’m off to check out the VSBN!

ohhh it’s been years since I’ve been to CKC… glad it was fun. I tried the Crop and it was the same when I went, loud and crowded
This wasn’t our first ck but first time doing the crop. I hadn’t heard great things, the day was fine. It was the night. The classes we registered for were cancelled so that stunk. We knew a few days before. We still had a great girls trip. I was telling my husband about the trip yesterday and he asked “did you have fun?” Yes! Funny how a simple question can change the focus

I'm still in Lancaster with friends until tomorrow. I was looking forward to meeting Pia but I was ill from Thursday night to Saturday morning. Missed my Friday classes & the first one on Saturday. I did go to the 2 afternoon classes & I picked up a few things on the vendor floor. We did go to the Saturday night crop which we haven't been in years. We had a lot of room & it was very enjoyable. We're going to scrap today & tomorrow will stop at a few places on the way home. I brought about 10 layouts with me but probably won't get them all done.
Oh, I am disappointed you didn’t get together, and you both are too, I am sure. Oh, Lou Ann ! You are not supposed to get sick at one of these events! I am glad you were well enough to attend some of it!

I am so glad you feel better! I was worried when you texted! I had to be home today, my oldest 30th birthday! It took us longer to get home than we thought. I am glad I have today to recover before work tomorrow. Good to know about the Saturday crop, maybe next time.

I didn’t get much done today but had good time. I had purchased the directions to an interactive scrapbook layout which will hold 35 photos. It took 3 1/2 hours to figure out & put together. Now I have to put mats, photos & embellishments on it! Hopefully I'll get it done soon!! Heading home tomorrow.
Pia, Hopefully we can get together next year! Maybe we can meet up for the crop.

oh No LouAnn, sorry to hear you got sick! That stinks ... I had that happen the last Crop I was supposed to go to. Missed all of it because I was sick. Glad to hear you're feeling better!

Well, I got two more layouts done today ... yay! I spent 1/2 the afternoon trying to figure out what I'm going to take to a Crop next weekend. Figuring it out is a pain but always fun when I'm there scrapping
Hello girls!
I know I haven’t post anything in a little bit. So I thought to give you an idea of what I am up to. Summer is really hard to scrapbook because of my two kids. They have so many activities and friends going in and out of the house, LOL. My son is an upcoming Senior, he has verbally committed to play soccer and study at W&L. Let me tell you very stressful, but it is done and we could not be happier of his decision academically and athletically! I need to share the digital design for his commitment. High school soccer started so of course being the last year we don’t want to miss anything! My daughter is an upcoming 8th grader. She was at a Drama camp. She performed at Aladdin as a Isir and in Mean Girls as Karen and sang at cabaret.We went to watch Barbie movie. And now we are on our way for vacation in no other than the Disney Wish for a week! When we come back my mom will be moving in with us for about 6 months. She is very excited to be close to the grand kids, mostly to watch this upcoming HS soccer and Drama performances from the grand kids!!! I will share pictures soon so many scrapbook moments!!!
