Lol! Had some time to view the gallery this morning and had to laugh...as I looked at a l/o I would think what I'd like to say and as I scrolled down Christy S. was right before me saying the exact thing I was going to say :-)
Patti, your pages were featuring so many of your lovely grandchildren...how many do you have? It looks like quite the age range too :-) Aren't you such a blessed woman!
Your pages all put a smile on my face and a desire to scrap today...thank you all for sharing!
So glad to hear about your grandma! That is wonderful news!!

Anyway, grandma's surgery was yesterday, she did well and came through exactly as expected. The cancer had not spread, no colostomy bag and more than likely, NO treatments! YAY!
Hoping to get some scrapping done today and tomorrow...since it is too HOT to be outside!!
Yeah for you and figuring out the hyperlink...that's a hard one!
How are you loading them? Maybe one of us can help you out...
I just went to look at your pages and your keyword caught my eye. You are using sbc11jul-carsoncat as your keyword. You do not want to put '-carsoncat' in the keyword because then it won't show up in the sbc11jul gallery but you will see it in your personal gallery.
Thanks for that tip I'll try to remember for next time, I upload to photobucket first to get them smaller for the upload, but I've just become a member so maybe I won't have the same problems in future or may be I will, we'll see when I get my next scrap page done, I'll try and upload from my desktop only. Fingers crossed.

YAY! July goal of 10 pages met...can't post the pages though cause of the no upload Sunday rule...so, I will try to remember later this week! Hoping to get more done as well...7 more pages and my wedding album will be finished! That is my ULTIMATE goal for this month!
Congrats Beca!! It feels great to reach a goal!!
BUT, this brings up another question to me (as a newby) What is this no upload Sunday thing? It that a permanent rule for the site? or just a personal thing? I am thinking i might have missed something... Thanks for the help...
That is great news, I know for the digi stampers. Will it be able to be used for both, like you use the others for both?
Sharon
I guess so (we have no challenge police, lol), although some of the challenges may involve learning a technique using software. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what Nicole has in store for us!
PLUS, it's a good way for digi-newbies to test the waters. I decided to get serious about learning Photoshop Elements when the digi challenges started up a few years back because they gave you step-by-step instructions and it was easier to learn. If you have a program, Sharon, you might want to give it a try sometimes!

Sheryl, if you don't have a paid SCS membership, you're not supposed to upload on Sundays. It keeps the traffic down so the moderators can get some time off! For me, I don't mind paying for membership because there are other perks (like seeing the Dirty Dozen uploads which are so inspiring) and SCS is such a GREAT site for ideas and learning new techniques. (Oh, and the awesome people too! )
There is some great info. for newbies about SCShere and here.
It seems I learn something new everytime I look in these threads!
Have a great day everyone! Heading out to have coffee with a friend!
Okay, so I made this mini book and I uploaded a page to the gallery, but there were so many pictures it is easier to see it on my blog (and I didn't add the SBC tag to it either).
I decided to make it worth 3 pages, because there are so many little things and whatnot. So that puts me over my goal for July!

12 pages total for the month...just 5 more and my wedding scrapbook is finished!!

That happens to me sometimes too I always seem to be drawn to color combos so i think that's what I comment on most.
I've got some more baby book pages done (including one I think might qualify as boho chic) so I'll have to upload today or tomorrow. Should go finish the layout that I've got 90% done on my table right now ;)

It's very cute! I'm in that stage of life where no friends are pregnant (not even neighbors) & our kids are too young to be pregnant (let's keep it like that for a while!)...sorta sad but okay.
No scrapping yesterday :-( Only one page done so far this month but I still need to take a photo. School starts here in 3 weeks so it's going to get even busier...after they're settled back I should have time to play again. :-)
Thanks for the info. Makes sence, just had not run across it yet. I will check out your links at some point... try not to be on line for too long at a time, which makes it hard to see EVERYTHING!

Thanks Mary Pat! I am indeed a blessed person. I have 3 children, 2 sons and a stepdaughter who is truly my daughter and 8 grand children. 3 of those grand children are great grandchildren. My stepdaughter has 3 children who all have a child. The age range of the grand children is from 22 years to 7 months. It is such a wide range but an enjoyable one as we can experience so many different things with each of them. Thanks again for your wonderful comments! Have a blessed day!

Yes, there is so much to read and see on SCS. It's an ongoing experience!!!
Just posted my most recent baby book pages, they're all in my gallery here. I posted 4 layouts today, which puts me at my goal of 20 pages for the month...hope to finish another layout or two before August arrives

What wonderful pages! And someone is getting a fabulous gift! Great job.

I'm with you on the no scrapping, MP! It's very frustrating. I can't even get to my Variety Challenge and I apologize to everyone for not having one for the past couple of weeks. Hopefully things will settle down soon.
On a good note, the girls and I went to Atlanta yesterday and my mom went with us. DD2 wanted to go to the American Girl store. My mom and I cut, scored, folded and glued the base part of the 125 wedding invites. woo hoo!!! the rest should be easy. I need to finish those this week and get ready for my debut SU workshops this Saturday. Got the cards planned, just need to cut the paper pieces for them.
This clock was made by a customer of my DH (My DH made some of the internal parts of the clock) so it was a pretty special gift. This gentleman is very young for a "Master" clockmaker so I'm hoping that one day this clock will be a valuable collectible. TFL!
Well ladies, I did it, I finished the wedding scrapbook! YAY!
Woke up Tuesday morning with the beginnings of a head cold or sinus infection which usually means I don't get much sleep. Went to bed at 10, woke up at 12:30, was able to fall back asleep until about 2:30 and now it is 4:25 and I have been awake that whole time...BUT, I did get the scrapbook finished and also got my area cleaned up so I am ready for the next project WAY over my goal this month with 17 pages completed! Might try again later today to post some pics...when I went to do it last night, it told me the pics are too big and I don't know how to edit them down...

do you see that paper with the numbers on it? And the lovely flowers and snowflakes? Tons of stickers and rub-ons! Heaven! I think I will be getting it and joining in doing a December Daily album! I will have to plan things to do during December so that I have things to take pictures of.

Yeah for Rebekah for finishing your Wedding Album!!!! Let us know what program you are using to try to resize your pages, maybe one of us can help you.
I can't believe I got caught up with leaving comments (luv!!!) in the gallery, it's so rare I get to keep up :-) I'm loving all the inspiration ~ now if only I can get into my scrap room...soon I hope!
Too cool Rebekah!! Maybe I will get inspired to do our wedding album! (we have only been married for 12 years now! LOL) Who knows... (-:
And that paper set IS pretty! (doubt there is room in the budget for it this time though...) Will look forward to seeing what you ladies do with it though! looks like fun.(-:
:( no scrapping for me this month -- nor will there be I'm afraid. We have had so much rain here. Our entire basement flooded yesterday. And that is where my craft room is. Thankfully I didn't have any paper on the floor! I need to call my insurance agent as soon as they are open to file a claim. I think we will have to tear out all our carpeting and replace it all. We just finished renovating our whole house a year ago. I'm too old for this. There is so much water, it blew our hottub right out of the floor (and it was cemented into the floor). It is raised right now about 18" out of the ground. We pumped 350 gallons of water out from underneath it last night. What a mess I'm in.
Anyway enough crying here -- I hope you all have a great day in your scrap rooms.

My bad!!! I just realized that it was my turn to host the Inspiration Challenge on Monday. I was so busy working with Nicole to get her up and running with the digi challenge, I forgot! I'll get to work on it and will post later today!
Wow! A lot going on here! Rebekah!! Congratulations on getting your wedding album done! I will go look right after this post! Thank you Michele for noticing and commenting on my avatar! Mary Pat and Wendy, thank you for your comments and encouragement in my scrapbook gallery!
Deb, so sorry for your flooding! Saying a prayer for you. My craft room is in my basement, too. Have been concerned about that or if my washer overruns or something.
So far so good. Again, thinking of you!
Looks like I have a lot to look at and catch up in the gallery. And Wendy, I totally forgot too, or I would have reminded you! LOL
I was too busy spending my gift cert at Cooking. com!
So fun!
well off to the gallery.
Sharon
