I got the idea from the Dating Divas on Pinterest! For Christmas I made each of us Passports and after planning 12 "destinations" I printed out First Class Airplane Tickets and our Itinerary. He was thrilled and we are having a great time planning out our first date. We are going to Mexico! Look out Qdoba's!
PSA: newbie here!!
So much "scrapping mojo" going on here. I hope some of it comes my way. Here's to a new year and more pages done (at least I hope).
Glad to see you decided to come join us...welcome! Looking forward to seeing more of your pages...that first one is really nice! Good challenge to start with to use up older supplies
Good Evening Ladies! I had a long day with DD2 driving her to a lacrosse clinic about 90 minutes away with a semi-local College ;-). Got back just before the downpour started. I'm in my craft room with TCM on in the background and ready to check out some challenges to start scrapping. I love rainy nights with old classic on the tv...perfect atmosphere to scrap! (as long as it doesn't get too stormy!)
It was stormy here a bit ago, I think it has passed us now, but while it poured the dogs had a great time playing in the rain! They think it should shower on them all of the time!
I have been doing some of the challenges at Designer Digitals, so my page total is growing- it is so much fun to look through all my scrapbooking files-I love scrapbooking supplies!! (and digi files are so easy to put away)
I pulled out the digi books I printed- 2009-2011 and dh said we used to do so much! I guess I better get going on the past couple of years-apparently if its not printed in a book he thinks we haven't done anything at all!
Have a great night everyone-

Good Scrappy morning everyone... just checking in to keep connected. I start full time back to work tomorrow, so no scrapping this weekend (basketball tourney yesterday too). I've been busy freezer prepping meals and trying to get situated to return to work. Praying that when the routine gets established that I'll have every other weekend for some kind of scrappy fun.
Keep up the good work to those of you that have really jumpstarted in 2014!

New term started for classes so I have a paper to finish this afternoon and then I plan to spend the rest of the afternoon and evening finishing the pages I have laid out ready to complete. I also need to make a baby card. A friend of mine had a little girl ;) Always a good excuse to use some fun pinks and yellows and of course that's what I bought too ....
I wish all of you a Scrappy Sunday

May wonders never cease! I have been inspired by the Stash Challenges and managed to complete the first two. Finding the old paper in my stash is no problem even after the huge purge I did last year, and despite the fact I have not scrapped a page in about 5 years now and have no new printed pictures I just dug in and went for it! It is quite freeing to be honest!

I finished 3 pages today and put my photos on my project life pages- they aren't finished yet. I will post the pages I did today in the morning and I don't mind if you don't comment, they are really simple with a lot of photos showing the renovation so far-
But, I am really excited because I only have a couple of pages left to do, and I will have the 2013 book done for my sons! I have about the same amount of pages to do for mine, so it will take a bit longer to close out 213 proper!
Have a great night everyone!

I'm with you Sharon still have to do the scraplift challenge but it's next on my list! I have it narrowed down between 2 layouts to scraplift. I know which one I really want to do but have to find the right photo!!
Just received photos from shutter fly. I need to get some pages done!

Hey hey hey! I took my comprehensive exam this morning and that means I'm now FREE to SCRAP and have fun!! (Unless they come back in the next few weeks and tell me I didn't pass some part of the exam; it was all essay...and I so ain't gonna worry 'bout that unless it happens!) So put me down for 10 pages for January and 100 for the annual goal...maybe even 114 to catch up on the last bit I didn't quite reach for my 2013 goal. I think I'll start tomorrow...I'm gonna relax for the rest of the day, not even gonna worry about vacuuming up dog hair. :p
Just a quick hello.
I can't believe it's the 13th already. January has been kinda hectic. I have my son living with us again, we had a touch of the flu, my dd was home from school( we took my dd back to school yesterday), celebrated hubby's birthday, and are starting to get serious about packing for our impending move.
You would think I have so much to scrap but haven't finished a layout for 2014 yet. I am not packing my craft room till the very last, so there is hope. lol.
Have a lovely day!

I can see you ladies are serious about scrapping this year. I will try to keep up! We have a wet and chilly day today so a good excuse to get my scraplift done. Then hope the sun comes out to get a decent picture. One of these days I am going to have to get prints made.
Tomorrow I am meeting a friend for lunch about 40 miles away. It's much closer to her house than mine but it is in the town that has one of the bigger scrapbook stores in the area so I never mind meeting there. We will have a two hour lunch to get caught up, then I will head to the store. There is not a thing that I need....... so if may be a short shopping trip! My DH can only wish!
In my very best southern voice I just want to say, "All Y'all are the best!" Thanks for all the love in the gallery!! It was a wonderful thing to read after spending a whole day in meetings. I would rather teach any day than sit in meetings!

I start a new part-time job with our local Girl Scout Council tomorrow and don't know my schedule yet. Instead of waiting until I get home to post the challenge I'm posting early so you can play tomorrow :-). I can't wait to see your pages!

THEY'RE BACK... the Monthly Digiscrap Challenges!!
The variety-style digiscrap challenges have been on hold since last fall, but they're back! Yippee!!
Check our the January Challenge--we'll post a new one every second Tuesday of the month (along with a new Progressive Challenge task, as always!) We'll have some fun guest hosts too!! Don't forget, all scrappers are invited to play--you don't have to be a digiscrapper!!!

Oh, lucky you Mary Pat! I have done a lot of "volunteer" work with the GS. I helped with the equestrian unit and other local groups in the area. We did some overnight horseback camping amongst many things. Loved every minute of it!

I've met my goal for the month! Yay! I finished 19 pages in a handmade 8x8 mini album today!
Also, the first 12x12 page I made this year (posted about that earlier), is being spotlighted at the Let's Get Sketchy Challenge blog this week! I'm so excited!!!!!
Here I am trying to catch up on all your chatter! I've been MIA for a wonderful reason - I have my DGGD here since Dec. 26th. As her mother says we have kidnapped her for a month. I fly her back on Jan. 28th. So, I'll not likely scrap this January. I have been sewing though.
I still want to set a goal for 2014. I'm setting it up at 100 pages for the year. Since I'm zero for January I am reaching for 9 pages the other 11 months.
Let's hope we keep going with our "recording memories" goals!

I am having a hard time figuring out how to link my gallery to my signature and have found no hints in the archives. If someone can explain it to me in basic terms I would appreciate it! I have been enjoying the fun of scrapbooking again! thanks ladies!

Jeanne Ann, I see you already have lines in your siggy, so it's overkill for you, but here's some instructions that I think cover what you're trying to do. Hope it helps:
Adding a Link to Your Gallery in Signature Line
Step 1
Open your gallery (which is what you want to link to).
Highlight the URL (the webpage address) at the top, using your mouse.
Copy this link with your mouse (for PC: CTRL + C. For Mac: Command +C.
Step 2
Click your user name [link] at the very top of the page.
Select Edit Signature on left of page which has opened.
In message box, type what you want to appear for your signature line and a line such as My Gallery (which will be linked to your gallery). With your mouse, highlight the words that you'd like to have "clickable" (in this example, "My Gallery".)
Click the globe (just above message box) that has a chain link icon. (A small window will pop up)
Paste the already-copied link into the blank field . (PC user: CTRL + V. Mac users: Command + V.)
Click "OK", then Save Signature below box.
Note: On occasion, I found that when I added the copied link, the "http://" at the beginning of the web address was inserted into the blank twice, so if you still aren't able to create the link, check out that out. I haven't had it happen in a long time, but it's worth a look if you're still having problems after this tut.

Seems like LOTS of Good Stuff going on here in our Scrappy Thread, love it! DGGD visits, new job, finishing test, new pages done .... it's all good!
I've been "treading water" over here as it's "show season" and once those are done (by end of January) I will take a big breath and "yahoo" and hope to get some more crafty time in
