Count me in please! I didn't scrap one layout that I can remember for 2010. Shame on me. I need this challenge. I think I am going to start with the low number 10 per month until I get my creative juices flowing again.
I started the new year very crafty! I got 2 pages done but also 27 cards, a clipboard, and a coupon organizer. They are all in my gallery but here are the pages.
I have also started with a bang! Really hoping I don't fizzle out to soon though. I made the baby quilt top on New Years day. Need to layer it up and do the quilting still. Can't finish until I get back to the store to buy backing.
I also cut out and pieced together 48 baby rattles. Making the tags that hold a drink mix for water bottles. Think that will be a nice bonus item to have at my daughters baby shower.

I am in! I took an entire year off from scrapbooking (I think I only scrapped 2 pages last year - YIKES!). I am going to start off with a nice small goal of 5 pages in January. I am going to have to work myself into this again not only with finding the time, but with getting my creativity going again!
I have pictures printed for half of the year and I have some print credits to get used up by the end of January, so I plan on having the rest of 2010 printed in the next couple of weeks. I have more supplies than I know what to do with (and that was even after purging a ton last summer). I am set. I am going to put spending goal of $0 for January as I shouldn't even need new adhesive for a few months!
I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and see what everyone creates this year!
If digital scrap booking counts, I'd like to play too. My goal for 2011 is one page per week, so at least 52 pages.
Of course! I am trying to get caught up with my paper scrapbooking right now - just getting all my pre-printed pictures done - then I plan on going to mostly digital. I like the idea of being able to work on my scrapbooks anywhere I can bring my laptop! I think I will be able to get more done that way too.

Digital scrapping definitely counts. I do both digi and traditional scrapping, as do several ladies on here. And a few do mostly digi. The object of this thread is to get our photos scrapped to preserve memories, help each other stay motivated through encouragement and comments on uploaded pages and to remember to have fun! We have a great bunch of gals here. Glad you'll be joining us!
As a matter of fact, I just upgraded from Photoshop Elements 7 to version 9 and have been playing around with some of the new features. There are some nice additions--especially since I didn't work with v. 8 that had some new things. I think I'm gonna love the clipping mask feature. I also got Photo Essentials 3 that has some nice features for PSE. Should have fun playing!

Nice to see you again! Hope you'll get a chance to post some of your pages -- I enjoy them!
Welcome to all the new ladies joining us...can't wait to see your pages (if you choose to post them).
Come and visit often!! We have lots of challenges in the Scrapbook threads too here on SCS, including a weekly challenge posted in this Goals thread every Thursday (see post #3 for update each week!) Also the VSBN (Virtual Scrapbook Night--it's actually a weekend of challenges) and a mini VSBN 3 or 4 times a year. Plenty of inspiration!!!
I'm plan on doing some digi scrapping also. I am participating in Patter Cross's ABC Scripture challenge and that one is going to be an 8x8 digi album. Here is her blog post if anyone is interested.
Hi Cathy - great to have you on board, I love what your sister's do, never knew there was a 3rd Thought we were in trouble before with just the two, hehe Can't wait to see your pages!!

Hi, everyone! I'm not new to SCS, but I am new to the scrapbooking threads. I guess I've been under a rock because I didn't even know there was a scrapbooking section here until now! LOL! But, I'm very excited to find you because I'm more of a scrapbooker than a card maker. Anyhoo, I'm thinking of joining your challenge here. I lost my mojo back somewhere before Thanksgiving and I'd like to get back in to the swing again.
I'm thinking I'll set my goal low for this month until I see if I can get my creative juices flowing again. I am planning on going to an all day crop in a couple of weeks, so maybe I can get things rockin' there, if not sooner! I'll set my goal for January at 3 12x12 layouts, and I want to do a mini chipboard album that has 10 pgs (including front & back, like 6 x 6-ish size). It'll be my first mini chipboard album so we'll see how that goes! LOL!
I'm going to hold off on setting a spending budget though. I've got some Christmas money seriously burning a hole in my pocket at the moment!

Oh, and I almost forgot....I have a few birthdays in our family this month too, so I know I'll be making at least 3 cards! I do mostly scrapbooking, but I do make cards for the family!

this is wonderful to see so many new names -- and to see so many "old" names joining in for this year. My main goal this year is to upload my pages. I was doing so well uploading, and then just got too lazy. I haven't uploaded a page since the new system went into place.

Holy cow! There is already as much as the December had all month! I'm in again this year! I'm going to do 50 again and set a goal of 4 each month. I already have 1 done and need to upload it!!!

Great pages so far, ladies! Haven't started anything new - working on days 24 and 25 of my december daily. DD goes back to school on wed, so hope to start sometime around then!

Tish, we're glad you found us! ;)
You're in good company here because several of us had our MOJO take a holiday cruise November and December leaving us "high and dry" when it came to scrap pages! Haha! Seems like our MOJO is coming back so I'm confident yours will as well. I went to a crop this weekend and it's just what I needed to get pages done!
Welcome!

I'm so excited to see all the new faces and many faces I know that have recommitted to goals. I hope this is the start of a super scrapping year with lots of pages in the gallery!
Don't forget, everyone, to add SBC11JAN (SBC11FEB, etc.) to your keywords as you upload so we can see everyone's uploads all in one place! Super easy way to avoid missing anyone's pages.

Hi Tish - you are going to have a great time with these goal threads, real motivators and tons of inspiration.

I have a new grand daughter........A few pages will soon follow!
How exciting and more to scrap now! I was called on New Year's Day with the news that I'm gonna be a grandma again. They are very excited and the new baby should be born in August.
Welcome to all the new ladies joining us.. I love having all the inspiration and am looking forward to your pages if you decide to post them for us to see. I'm still having trouble putting ideas together and can't wait for VSBN...hopefully I'll get lots of pages done.
Congratulations Candy. There is nothing nicer to scrap about than a grandchild! I actually have completed 4 pages so far this month. I guess I still have mojo. We're leaving on holidays in a week, so won't get anything done after that for this month.

Good Morning! I can't believe how much excitement is going on in this thread, especially compared to December's thread...looks like THE MOJO has returned! My girls are still on Christmas break and don't go back to school until next Monday. We returned from TN on Saturday, girls had friends over most the day Sunday, and sleepovers last night. Today is an open day but I still need to get my decorations down :( We're off to Universal for Thursday & Friday with friends at a local hotel...and a busy weekend! No scrapping for me right now but next week I think I'll take a break from my volunteering and just veg & scrap!!!
I haven't made all my craft goals for this year but I do know I want to keep my goal of 10 pages a month. I still need to get more into cards to use the stamps I keep buying ;-) I want to participate more in the weekly challenges but not sure how I'm going to do that yet...so next week I'll focus on specifying those goals.
It's been wonderful to see so many familiar 'faces' return and a BIG welcome to those who are new...feel free to jump in the conversation when/whereever and don't be shy...ask questions when you're not sure...we all were new once (& I'm still clueless once in a while...okay, maybe more than once in a while ;-))
Now off to check out the VSBN thread to put those dates in my calendar....
Have a BEAUTIFUL day!

But I am still having a hard time finding my scrapping mojo, so I decided this year I was going to...
"START with the END in MIND!
Which means that I have challenged myself to start at the beginning of the Scrapping Challenges here on SCS and my goal is to work my way through the challenges by the end of the year.
ANYONE WANT TO JOIN ME?????
Here is my first challenge for myself that I will be working on today...
Cathy and Kelli, welcome and great pages. Kelli - I'll take the paper and border but you can keep the snake. LOL!
Thanks! I'm happy to keep the snake
