Scrappin' Challenge 2021 Can you believe this is our 13th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?!
We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2020 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2021! Let's keep scrappin'. It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages,goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2021! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops... What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process!

Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. *In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us. You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends. Are you UP for the CHALLENGE?Come and Play in the 2021 Scrapbook Challenge!

This year instead of "Challenges" we're going to have a new opportunity for Inspiration. It's called,
Working On It Wednesdays
Each Wednesday a Hostess will post an Inspiration Idea, Question, Discussion, Picture, Sketch, Link to a past Challenge, a new challenge ... just something that may inspire a page.
We will keep track of how many each of us participate in by doing a page/card from what's posted. Hopefully at the end of 2021, we'll have 52 more cards or scrap pages from our Wednesday happenings.
I'm hoping by keeping it more casual, we'll get others who are willing to help do a post for the week so it doesn't fall to the same people all the time? It should mix it up some.
All of the Wednesday Posts will be Listed here in our Thread so you don't have to go looking for it.

I reached my goal of 15 for January.
To reach my goal of 150 for the year, I need to do 12.5 each month so.
February will be 13 layouts. That way I won't be so stressed and if I get more done a month then I will have a little cushion for the months I don't do as many.

Hi everyone, here is a challenge that I sent to Lela for Wednesday. My apologies that it's late but I wasn't sure whether I was to post or Lela would be, plus I read the date 2/3 as 2nd March LOL.
Lela, hope that it's ok to post here. Also hope that you are going ok.
Ladies, so we can assist Lela, how about we take turns to post a simple challenge each Wednesday. I know Daizees has one too good to go, so perhaps you would like to do next week?
Here is mine for this week:
Create a project whether it be a card, scrapbook page, journal page or tag and include at least one recycled object on it. Examples could be using corrugated cardboard as your base paper or a paper bag, using a teabag or colouring with coffee/tea and/or using household items to add texture or to embellish. For example, use the top from a bottle, dip in your paint/inks and use for circles.
I will post mine soon once my photos come out of the cloud.

Lela, hope you are ok. So that we can keep this thread alive, we will come up with some challenges.
My only thought is that weekly challenges may be too frequent. A week comes around quickly and perhaps we have one challenge and also a stashbuster challenge in between. I know I am keen to start using up stash. Not sure what the other ladies think.
As we have Tanya and Sharon offering to post a challenge we will run with these for now and see if anyone else puts their hand up, otherwise we can do some stashbusting.....or go back to the travel challenges. I do like a challenge with an alpha letter too.
ladies, between us let’s keep this going and give Lela a hand.

I am in again for this month forgot to post last week after 30” of snow in New Jersey!
I am in for 4 scrapbook pages, Valentines cards (done) and Easter cards. Frame (almost done). Explosion box covered with card stock still lids to cover and decorate the entire box.

Good morning friends!
So here is my idea for a Working on it Wednesday challenge.
Valentine's Day is Sunday. Using supplies that are typical of Valentines, make a layout that is not about Valentines!
Use supplies like - hearts, red, white, pink, doilies, roses, gems, pearls, lace, chocolate, puns, a couple....
For my page, I did these pictures of my autumn baby. I used pink and white, roses, heart doilies, roses, lace and pearls. Blessing An Angel

I love word play challenges, so my idea is to use items or techniques that begin with the letters in
COLD on your project.
we are in the deep freezer here, with a record breaking 19 below yesterday morning, also snow, about four inches. And we had a two hour power outage from 7-9 am!
I will play along with you, as I don’t have a layout for this challenge done yet!

We're supposed to have snow from Nov- March but we're only finally getting some of that winter everyone else in the country is dealing with. We're up to about five inches since Friday, which is not much at all.

Hi ladies. I have been MIA for a while and not scrapping much, but these Work on it Wednesday challenges sounded so fun that I couldn't resist! This one is for Tanya's 2/10 challenge to use Valentine's themed supplies on a non-Valentine's layout. Too fun, and not I'm off to figure out what to do with the recycled and cold challenges.
Cheryl has kindly agreed to do a challenge this coming Wednesday the 24th..thank you Cheryl.
I’ll come up with one for the following Wednesday.
