I've had my niece for the last 10 days. She's almost 5 but she and my not-yet-3.5 yr old seem like twins. This is the only creating I've gotten done, if it shows up... ;) I made this heart collage on the Persnickety Prints website, framed it, found this board shaped like the state of Utah at Walmart and used DP and embellishments from my stash to mark the places we've lived. The bottom sign came from the boutique section of the local grocery store, haha! I wanted to do this for our 20th wedding anniversary last fall but instead I got it done for Valentines. I hope the picture works!

2024 Scrapping Goals: March 8/12; Feb: 6/15; 2024: 35/125
Sharon, I also hope Sharon (Sewflake) is ok and her hubby too. Miss Joyce Ann, Lela and Cheryl and Nancy and Amy and all the other ladies who are usually on here scrapping. This month has been so quiet and I’m creating..so funny as I’m the one who hardly ever scraps lol.
How are you going? I so hope that you get to your crop in March...miss your creations.
Well I’m back to it. I’ve been coffee dyeing papers. Our kitchen smells heavenly and hubby thinks I’ve lost the plot lol. I am kicking myself though as I threw out over the years accounting and ledger papers and all sorts of great pages I could be using in my Traveller notebooks and junk journals. Now I will have to try and buy some..so annoyed with myself. I shall ask friends first if they have any old papers stashed away they don’t want. I’m in my room and planning a LO...I intend to have fun today.
Happy weekend and creating everyone.

....I'm ready to SCRAP.... I'd like to meet my Feb Goal so I need to get busy and get 12 pages done today/tomorrow. It's been a busy few days
Jayne ... you are getting in the Scrappy groove ... that's awesome
I am thinking of (and praying for) Sharon (sewflake), I can't imaging how difficult of time this is to move and have DH so ill. Maybe one of us has her address and we could send some "paper love" (cards)?
Speaking of Sharon (SMadson) how are you doing?! Hopefully your wrists are healing quickly
Did you all take note that this month's SCRAPLIFT CHALLENGE is from none other than our favorite Scrappy Designer Cheryl (Motherload)... check it out, lots of options with the pages I selected
Now off to scrap ... Happy Saturday

Thanks Lela. I’d love to send Sharon (Sewflake) a card. I don’t have her old or new address. Can someone pm it to me please?
Thanks for the reminder of the scraplift..I had forgotten it. I will be scrapping again this week. Yep I’m in the groove and loving it. Missed it heaps.
Happy day everyone

Hey there, it has been a busy trying time with hubby in the hospital for 10 days... now the move is upon us! The first load went out to the new house yesterday, then I went out today to try and organize the cubes and book cases in my scrap-room. It was amazing to me how many boxes I had packed that said...craft room!!!
It got to be a joke with the guys carrying in box after box.
Hubby is doing well for the time being. It will not ever be great...good is the best we can hope for. Many follow up appointments on the horizon with the hopes of getting a little idea of what to expect along with keeping a closer eye on infections before they get so bad. One small piece of good news is how well his creatinine levels came down for now. I hope things can be managed for awhile yet with the stints in place.
I have been working on some scrap pages for dear fellow scrapper, Donna's (aka; Bonprof on Scrapbook.com) partner. As you have heard she lost her battle with cancer quite suddenly last week. Some of the ladies of one of the SB groups that Donna belonged to is making a memorial book.
I was not able to make my crop over the week end so I will again fall short on my goal for the month. Oh well, life is what we scrap so the memories will eventually find there way into an album.
Closing on the new house is Friday so things will slow down a bit till then as all family members are working. Would you believe there is still work to be done out there???! The cupboards to not have any shelves or hardware on yet! Then there are a few minor tweaks that need to be done to doors and such. '
If you don't hear from me again for awhile, don't fear.
We are not expected to have internet once we move.
I don't know how long it will take to get some service!
Hi Sharon (Sewflake) good to see you pop on. Sorry to hear about your friend on SB. So sad but what a beautiful thing you and the other ladies are doing. I pop on now and again on that site. Good to hear that your hubby is now going ok.
Wishing you all the best with your move and look forward to seeing you back scrapping. Take care and hugs

I got some scrappy time today! Funny thing...I was fiddling with the layout for my youngest, (and she knew it and was excited to get more pages) and my oldest walked by, got very excited I was scrapping this and THANKED me for it. So of course I had to make his layout too! So these two are very, very similar, haha! Snowman 1Snowman 2

2024 Scrapping Goals: March 8/12; Feb: 6/15; 2024: 35/125
Happy Thursday everyone. Anyone scrapping today or this weekend? It will soon be March...eek. I’ve been tea dying some papers and finished a Teapot challenge card. I’ve had a days break from scrapping to mix it up. I think I’m going to start my journal now or another page...mmmm...decisions. It’s stormy and raining here..loving it after the heat and humidity. Have fun

I’ve been making front and back covers for a journal, I’ve been overdosing on YouTube while I’ve been in England so I’m happy to get started.
It’s come out better than I thought and I really enjoyed getting messy using my paints and stash.
An update on my wrists:Yes, I have the splints off and now am doing PT. I still can’t drive and I still have the weight restriction, nothing heavier than phone, iPad, or cup. And , yes, my hands / fingers get really sore. Not only do I go to PT 3 x a week ( only twice this week), it I do the stretches 4 x. Day. PT told me to put heat on my hands before I do the stretches , And that really helps. DH is still doing cooking & house keeping. I think another week, and the weight restriction should come off, but PT says three weeks. No one ever tells you the same thing. Also , PT says I won’t be normal again, just a new normal.
Jan, I didn't get my journal started. I did CAS cards as my head wasn't in gear yesterday. I've ended up with a stiff neck and think it's from too much craft LOL. Hopefully it will be ok later after I do some stretches. Can't wait to see your journal. I woke up thinking of ideas for my cover LOL. It will only be a small 12 (24) page one just as a tester.
Sharon, keep healing and so miss you and your creations.
How can it nearly be end February? Where did that go? On another note, it does mean that March is nearly here and new scrappy challenges...yay.
Happy day everyone.

Jayne I’m looking forward to seeing the March challenges too, I might have a quick go at February’s as I have some pieces cut already. I had a mad frenzy before I went away making enough cards for a few months so I don’t have to worry about Birthdays!
I started my journal..yay. It’s tiny lol but I followed a template and it’s got a faux spine. I made it using a Weetbix box lol. I’m going to cover it tonight and try and get the signature in. I will use it as my monthly journal.
I also made a card...gosh that was fun.
The news is depressing tonight...it sounds as though it’s going to get worse. I don’t like 2020 already.

I have started my journal..yay. It is tiny. I’m following YouTube videos and a template from junk journal videos..she’s an Aussie lol. I don’t have fabric so had to use some burlap...not the best so I can see me heading to a fabric shop next week for off cuts.
I stamped the inside for a bit of a theme that I am going to run with. I will use this for my monthly journal when it’s finished.
Here is the process so far. I have my papers out and tomorrow hope to do the signature. Happy so far.
I cut my cereal box down, covered it with kraft paper and have just done the inside. Once the signature is in I will decorate the front cover and the pages and add pockets.
It’s so small but I love it lol

Patti, I love your tea party pages! I have lots of teapot photos and lots of teapot stamps, embellishments. You are inspiring me to scrap! Hands or no hands! LOL
I finished my first junk journal...whoohoo. There’s the front and back cover. The trickiest part was getting all the pages in the signature straight and sewing it in but it didn’t take long to sew. I’m so happy with it.
The pages inside are pretty cool and I can do a quick video if anyone is interested to show you. It’s like mini scrapbook pages lol.

Jayne your cover is fabulous! What an amazing design. Great colors and the gear influence is so right for a TN. I'm totally interested in seeing the inside pages.
Ladies, I'm now here and reading all the posts so I can catch up. I have missed out on so much of your activities. I feel like I abandoned you. I promise I am back now. Fortunately my Fan Club membership hasn't run out yet so I can upload today.
I do have one page uploaded. I thought about you Sharon M. while make it! Simple Pleasures of Life
Since this is the first day of a new month I will not post anymore to this February thread, however, I will continue reading and visiting all the links.
I am offering up special prayers for each of you.
