Here I am again on my phone. I did go to the gallery but with my phone the images are so small I could not see any detail, and when I tried to enlarge it, it just pixelated. I need to fire up my computer to take a better look. I don’t often use my Silhouette Cameo to make embellishments but once in a while it does come in handy.
now if my equipment was updated like a new computer, a new silhouette and a new printer, then I would do more print and cut embellishments for my pages.
one of my friends uses that feature a lot to color, coordinate her hand embellishments to her papers. I can’t say that it’s how much less expensive it would be as inks for printers are not cheap.
Sharon, I often wish I had a Silhouette instead of a Cricut. I've heard they are much easier to use. I have a ton of cartridges so not sure I want to upgrade but I have thought about it. I agree that the ink is probably just as expensive as buying embellishments.
Lou Ann,
the Cricut adds more steps doesn’t it! I wish it was easier. My bff and I were talking so but it Saturday. We had so much invested with all our cartridges that neither of us wanted to look at other machines. I do have a brother scan n cut too. I use that for images when I don’t have a die that matches. There is some basic stuff on there too. I actually used it to cut the words merry Christmas for my Christmas cards last year. I wish I never bought the Cricut joy, I’m not getting enough use out of it.

I am impressed with all of you! I won’t buy a cricut or a silhouette because I have notebooks and notebooks full of dies to use with the .big Shot. So I am stuck. I cleaned up craft room from finishing my February Challenge Junk Journal. So maybe now I can start making cards and scrap pages again!
I have the original Expression & I don't use it enough to justify a new one. I also have a Scan n Cut & I rarely use it. I'm sure if I worked with it more, I would find new things out about it. I bought it thinking I quit buying dies but that didn't happen...lol!
Lou Ann,
I use the cricut barely to scrapbook and make shirts for our disney trips and a few other things. I do like the cricut air and circut design space. I do not have a monthly subscription. I do use it when I am making gift books, I think because I give myself more time to make those! I do not use the little cricut joy as much as I should. It is great for quick labels and titles. I have put it in a drawer to see if I actually reach for it. If I don't I am going to consider selling it.
I do like the brother scan n cut for stamps that I don't have dies for. I do wish this machine was smaller!
Sharon,
I have dies too!! I started with the cricut when you had to buy cartridges mainly for the disney ones. Then I realized making those characters takes forever! Then when they stopped making cartridges I was so deep in that I had to get a new machine. It is handy to have.
In all honesty, I just have too much craft stuff and am working on getting rid of stuff I will never use and NOT BUYING new things! Limiting my buying is hard, but I am doing well with it. I did buy a new set of dies from Waffleflower that I have already used a bunch for scrapping!

I’m happy with my February progress! I’m looking forward to march. My friends are coming over Saturday to craft, I’m looking forward to it. I might focus on cards thought. I’ll decide tomorrow.

Good for you Pia! Enjoy your crafting time with your friend this weekend!
Sharon I've never heard of him...I'll have check him out.
I'm very happy to say that I finished 2019 today! I wasn't sure I'd get it done this month but it just fell into place! I'm behind on my birthday cards so I have a technique picked out & will work on them this weekend. Then I think I'll work on my DGS's graduation layout. I purchased an interactive pattern but I need a time without distraction to figure it out. Since I'm so far ahead, I might make that my goals for March since the weather is getting nice here.
