Have fun Jeanne & Lela! Will you be scrapping together or just visiting?
I have TCM on and in my jammies getting ready to scrap...I think I'm declaring a scrap day for myself (now let's see if the family cooperates with me!). Off to take a photo and start another challenge from VSBN!

Just visiting. Not sure how much time she has before heading home.
Even though I have a bit of a head cold, it has been a productive scrappin day. I finished up 9 pages for the Yorktown exploration we did last year-whew, I take too many pics-but I don't ever plan to pay 30 to return, so the photos are a good thing!
It is a sad thing to lose Kristin- I think I have been hanging out in the web for too long, I keep losing people that I get to know, but never meet- I am so sorry for her family-she was a mom extraordinaire!

This brings my total to 9 for the year....only 3 more to go! I'm going to try and get the last 2 challenges done but I may run out of time. Next week I'll try to go through the gallery and look.
As I thought, my family did not cooperate with my scrapbooking needs yesterday ;-). I am back today to try again! Though I do need to do some weeding later when it warms up a bit.
I have been working on a princess signature mini album for my daughter since we are leaving for Disney this week! Getting excited and finishing up stuff and then today my other DD wakes up with a fever and throws up. I'm just hoping she is better in time for Disney. Have not been in the gallery lately, so I'm going to head over there for a bit b4 bed.

February goal was set at 9 pages. At 9 for each of the 11 months that is 99 pages for the year.
So far I have 3 from VSBN, two on my table from Sunday that aren't finished, and plans for more. And I still have some month left!
Kelli, I hope your little "Chickadee" recovers quickly and makes the trip. I remember my Kristy having the same kind of timing many years ago.

Thanks ladies. She was doing much better today and no fever so we should be good to go!

good morning everyone... Grandma has spent some time chillin' (literally, we went for a walk along the river) with grandpa with this morning, since we haven't seen each other in about 12 days. Momma and baby are doing great and daddy is still in the crying stage. (the big gentle giant felt so honored and amazed at everything yesterday, the tears still just roll down his cheeks.) Anyway... Now that I have side tracked: (bare with me, it will get better... Lol)
While going through some emails and office stuff, I came a crossed a fantastic technique that is being used on cards, not sure how new the technique is, but it is showing up all over pintrest and then I noticed that it was highlighted as the new technique challenge here yesterday. TLC469 ~ Doodling Made Easy ~ {2/17/13} by TreasureOiler at Splitcoaststampers
When I saw it my mind started racing with all the wonderful scrapbook background ideas that I could use this technique for and also what a wonderful way to use up DSP scraps from our stashes. (Don't tell me you don't have any... Even digi-scrapers have scraps. :} )
Catching up....
I was very sorry to hear about Kristen. I remember when she was actively scrapping and have enjoyed her "stop ins". I agree with everyone else- she always was upbeat here. I love the idea of doing a scraplift of hers!
I missed VSBN! :( But I am seriously hoping for some scrap time Thursday...hoping, hoping!
Congrats to Anavon with the new baby!
And now I'm off to check the gallery!
Oh- almost forgot, I uploaded a page I put together last night! Week 6

As many can tell, Delilah Joann is officially here. 8lbs 9oz, 22 inches long. Both mom and baby are doing well. Attachment 289694
Congratulations Grandma. Is that what you will be called? Or do you prefer another name? My sister in law is using Nai Nai (and her real name is actually Renee so it worked out pretty good!)
Happy news Avalon! She is precious! So glad to hear all Delilah's people are well too and so delighted with her. I know you will love doing all those pages about her and I look forward to seeing them.

I've been MIA because my PC is down & I'm not fond my DH's so please excuse my spelling. I did complete 3 more pages that I hope to get uploaded by the end of the month.

We brought the baby home today... with much gratitude in my heart for all the love and trust that my Father in Heaven has in us as a Family unit. I truly remember feeling very confident and yet scared to death the day I brought my first baby home from the hospital and now He is a daddy and with the same feelings of confidence and shaking hands he has set out to show the world he too can do this.
On top of being here with my family, I have known for over a week now that my new calling at church is that I have been asked to be the new Compassionate Service Leader. I am feeling very humble and very overwhelmed knowing the over sized shoes that I have been asked to fill... as I began to settle in today, I have started to turn some of attention to the needs of the wonderful sisters in my ward. Being so far away, sheds new light on the things that I can do and with many prayers in my heart I started thinking about Kirstin and how she was always doing something for someone. I read some more from her blog and found some much needed inspiration in so many ways... so I decided to scrap my Inspirational tribute page today.
I am just wondering if you can "see" this page? Happy Cow by fresshe - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
I uploaded it on Sunday the 16th, received a message that is was approved on the 19th, and then another message saying it was approved on the 20th-methinks it may be caught in a loop!
It's about a dairy and cows-so I can't possibly see how it could be inappropriate?

I'm getting caught up! Only 6 more to do for the month! It's been an interesting week (and NOT in a good way). I was glad to focus on something other than being diagnose with a brain aneursym.
I am doing well. We (my husband & I) met with a neurosurgeon this past Monday and he was generally upbeat and reassuring. Bottom-line is we have time to make an informed decision after weighting the risk/benefits of each option. Our next step is to meet the specialist in Chicago for a consult before we finalize any treatment option.
It's motivating me to do my wedding album which I ordered reprints of all our pictures! I will work on that in conjunction with finishing up with the albums I am otherwise working on. Wish me luck in getting this done before my procedure! ;)

Ann,
That is scary news, but it sounds like it can be fixed relatively easily and you will be OK-keep up updated- and good luck getting things scrapped you want to get done!

I was really intrigued with this months layout challenge from the very beginning, but I am not one for stopping and starting a page or layout. But it just got better the longer it went along. So here is the start of my layout for this month... (I know, I don't play by the rules durning this challenge. I will try harder next month...!)

Where is the dislike button when you need one... :(, I will be sending hugs and prayers your way.

I'm so sorry to hear of your diagnosis but it sounds as though it's been caught in time...I'll pray for you as you make your decision as to what to do now...good luck!

Part 1 of my 2 part day...
So... This is how my morning started:
Typical Saturday morning, still laying in bed, with the first sunny, nice day in a few weeks and as usually... I start contemplating my fat belly, (muffin top), and the need to get up and start running again to get rid of the rest of my over weightness. Like I said typical Saturday morning routine for me... Then I mumble something about how I can hear the beach and the sand pipers calling my name. I usually then roll over, check eMails and Facebook and talk myself out of going...
THEN YOU HAVE MORNINGS LIKE THIS (insert first photo here!)
First photo that pops up on Facebook this morning...
