Good morning from Sunny St. Louis... DS has to work all day, so hoping to scrap today.
And yes... First Grandbaby, she is the first girl and we are so excited. Any of you who really know me knows that my DH and I have 5 boys. So she is the first girl....
We got over 4 more inches of snow!!! DH out shoveling! Good thing we are retired.
We have a total of over 13 inches of snow in last 7 days. Well, maybe I will scrap today.

Do you know what your snow total is for the season (so far)???
We went to MSU this past weekend to see my DD and they have just about as much snow as we do! Felt kind of funny riding down with a bike on the back of the truck and it looked even funnier sitting a top the snow! While we were there, they got a couple more inches! Made our departure a little slick (saw several cars in the ditch and one rollover), so took our time coming home!
Getting caught up on all the action I missed over the weekend and preparing for some serious catch up this week!! :p

Well you've got double excitement! I don't know what it would be like to have a girl. I have 2 boys & then the DGS. :-)
I think Kristen had only posted a few times when I joined the group so I didn't really know her. I did read her blog & it brought tears to my eyes. Such a tragedy! My thoughts & prayers go out to her family & friends!

I had a hard time scrapping and staying focused here yesterday. My heart was very sad most of the day, happy in some ways, because she is out of pain and she never wanted anyone to be sad, but none the less, sad because I never got the chance to meet this incredible women in person. Only through here and over the phone. We love and miss you, Kristin!

Here is my page for this challenge... It doesn't look like much without the photos, it really is meant to be a winter scene. Below you will find one of the awesome photos that will go on my page.

I saw that. How sad I am for Shawn and the kids. I could definitely see Kristin enjoying the song they posted on her blog "Knowing What I know about Heaven". If you ever got to talk with Kristin, she was so full of laughter and sunshine. Our timing is not always God's timing and she will be very missed

I'm so sad hearing about Kristin. Prayers for her family. She seemed to be a wonderful human being and the world has lost a great soul. RIP, Kristin. Prayers and good thought go out from me to her family.

Congrats! Now you'll really have a good reason to use girlie colors on your pages

I just went in to look for any updates this afternoon and saw that post. So very very saddened by their loss. She seemed like such a cheery sunny person and she loved her family so much. Wasn't she involved with the Olympics when it was in Canada?
Another one I would love to know how she is doing is Goegirl....
we are snowed in here in SE Tennessee. We rarely get snow and right now there is 6" on my deck. It has snowed steadily all day and is supposed to continue until thru the night. I took the puppy out earlier and she almost disappeared in it she is so small.
Brooke had two appts today and they were cancelled so I was able to get caught up on laundry. The problem with being caught up on laundry is that I don't have room for all the clean clothes. LOL! time to clear some out I guess.
On a more crafty note, I ordered the new Cricut Explore today! It's for my birthday in March but it won't get here until April. This new machine really intrigued me and I just couldn't resist.
Side note: asking small favor... Keep my SC babies in your prayers, they are in the middle of a terrible ice storm and my DH is in Florida on business. I am here in St. Louis and my youngest (age 19) is very nervous. His brothers said he didn't want me to know, but he is very nervous and that makes his disabilities harder to manage.

I was thinking about her (Goegirl) yesterday

I finished up a double page layout on this beautiful sunny (almost summer like) day here. First day of preschool
Also if you notice in my signature, I am way above and beyond what I thought I would have scrapped by now and I'm just so grateful to you women for the inspiration and companionship during this! Thank you!

Great challenge for #5.... Loved the Lyrics and thought the photo I have at home of my DS getting engaged would be perfect because he was very much "lost in the moment" with her.
I have been leaving some love in the gallery for the VSBN pages-wow, there are a lot of pages!!! I have some more to take a look at, but I have been doing so in spurts!!

I have a 'summer' and a 'winter' wardrobe I switch out (not all, but part of) my closet each season. That gives me the chance to clean out clothes that I don't wear on a regular basis!
You'll have to give us a review of the new Cricut machine...once you've had the chance to play around with it! How exciting!

I've had quite the week but I'm off for the next few days and hope to get caught up on a few issues here and hopefully scrap more of the VSBN challenges. Earlier this week I tried 3 times to get the Inspiration challenge up and got booted off as I was submitting. I am going to try again today and hope it goes through. I hope everyone is having a good week and staying indoors with all your snow & ice.

Off to upload & check the gallery :-)
I hear you...every time I wanted to go to my craft room something came up, I was distracted or time ran short. We're heading out again this weekend so I hope to get caught up next week when I'm housebound! We had more snow last night, but blue skies today! Yeah! Keep thinking Spring!
Good luck with getting more pages done and your uploads and hang in there!

Kirsten seems to be doing good. Her husband sold his business, they moved and she's going to med school.
I'm glad to hear that. I've checked out her blog a few times but there's never any posts. I was worried cause I knew she had moved but the SWAK address was never updated so I've been wondering. Her husband had a machine shop like mine does so we kind of understood things...you know?
Great finishing challenge... Loved all the options, but since I DON'T tweet nor text much, I thought "call me" worked better. So here is my very last page for this awesome VSBN full of LOVE and EYE CANDY...
