Awe, that's so nice! Thanks Wendy!! I just got back from a scrapbook weekend with 13 of my crafty friends. It was a lot of fun - but I only got 7 pages done! I think I spent more time talking.... and we played taboo too... lots of laughs but not as productive as I anticipated! lol.

Oh! I just realized I did 9 pages this weekend - forgot about two fo the digi ones I did. Ok, I feel better! And should probably increase my monthly goal to 13. ;)

My last page VSBN and it will go in Melina's 1 2 3 Get Scrappy Challenge for August.

We Will Celebrate U

Now time to clean my studio....... I thought I would be too sore to clean more today after cleaning floors, dusting baseboards as well as the furniture, and rearranging all said furniture in our bedroom yesterday. Lets hope I can purge a few things while I put away supplies!

I'm sure it was more fun just being with friends than doing the scrapping alone when your home. I too will look for your layouts this week.

Nice page...I was actually thinking of doing the EXACT same challenges for the last VSBN page. lol! Unfortunately I can't figure out how to do a digi page and I don't think I'll have time to do a traditional page in time before we go on vacation.

We decided not to leave for vacation until tomorrow then it's only for a few days on the motorcycle. So I thought I'm going to do a few pages from the many photos I have printed. Well one thing lead to another & I'm now in the middle of a full room re-organization. Wish me luck...I'm going' back in!

Gook Luck Lou Ann, it never seems to work when I try to reorganize! I get only so far then I find something I had not seem for awhile and it gets me thinking about how I would use it on a page and before you know it I am distracted and pulling out papers, pictures, etc to start another page. Then there goes the organization!!

Hope yours goes well......

Omgeee. Just did the washi tape challenge. I loooove this technique. So easy.
I will probably never buy washi tape again. Love that I was able to use stamps and recycle tissue paper.

I posted 3 hours ago & just got my desk cleaned off & some inventorying done and I'm DONE for the day! Yes, Sharon I know what you mean. I think I'll work on a page plus going to dinner with the Gigglers tonight so I need to get ready for that too.

I managed to get another page done today. Putting together blog posts for the rest of the week while I go to my parents for one last trip for the summer!

Ice Cream Cones

I also managed to peek in the gallery a bit and left a little love!

Good Morning Scrappy Friends!

Still no scrapping for me yet even though the girls are back at school :(. DH is still on his vacation & we were running around for appointments and back-to-school items. Today he is working on a friend's car and I must clean my house; it was such a busy summer I've only picked-up and my poor house has been neglected. While he's away and girls are in school this is the time to get some done so next week when he goes back to work I will not feel bad about neglecting everything to scrap! ;) I've looked at pages but on my Nook which is sometimes difficult to leave luv but I will try to get back to do that during my break times today.

I hope you all have a FANTASTIC day!

Great page, Cheryl (Halloween) I tried to comment on your Blog, but don't think it took. If we do your sketch challenge, we upload it here and on your blog?

Sharon, you post here and then go to Cheryl's blog and link to your SCS gallery page. I just did that using this link for my dps using her fun sketch:

And, thanks for your recent comment on it!

I organized most of the day & I'm finally getting my collection put away. I even purged a few things I know I'll never use! I still have a lot to do but at least I feel like I can find things so I can work now. I have to say I'm a little disappointed in myself...as I went through the things I've been saving to add to my DGS's scrapbook I found I never dated them! I threw some of them away & I'll have to guess at when the others were done. It was a hard lesson learned!

I found an unfinished page that I started last Feb to coordinate with one I did for the VSBN. I decided to take a break & finish it....nothing fancy but at least I got it done! 3 down 5 to go!!

I made time to get the 2nd week done on the digi challenge...may not get the chance next week to play though since we'll be in Myrtle Beach. We are taking DGS and DGD both along so I'm sure I'll be extra busy...not sure if this will actually count as a vacation since these 2 have never spent more than a few days together at a time. It'll be interesting to see how they interact and behave with each other and how long it will take before they get "tired" of each other

I was looking through my digi files for an in process page and found that I finished April's digi progressive challenge in June and just never saved it for the web and uploaded it to here! It might have been on a Sunday...but here is my final page for April...

I did two pages yesterday & making headway on getting 2013 done before working backward. I bought all the cardstock at CKC to do a LO The Paper Loft had designed but once I started I changed it all around. It's hard to read the journaling but at the end I said "They're getting pretty good at it" but when my DGS read it he said "I thought we are doing great at it"...guess I'll have to have him add to the journaling.

Good Morning!!! Got to leave a little luv today but need to give more, hopefully later this afternoon. DD2 has a car wash that I volunteered to 'parent' but after today I am hoping to be clear of cleaning and volunteering for a few days. I am having a scrappy get together next Friday and want to start getting some pages together so I can easily entertain and scrap.

Wishing you all a BEAUTIFUL day!!!

I spent the day at a local crop then went to dinner with DH. Now to put things away, glue my pages, and leave a little love in the gallery later tonight. It has been raining ALL day and suppose to continue until Monday...... If I finish my pages I will try to take pictures indoors!

Well, my craft room joy was short lived yesterday so I got nothing done :(. I think today will be a better day. Just need to help out with a little math homework, then the family will leave to visit DH's parents while I stay home and play.

Right now I'm going to copy/paste some challenges in a word doc. I find that if I get on-line to check out what challenge I want to do I end up exploring instead of scrapping so I thought I'd try this approach & see how it goes ;-).

Hope you all have a fun scrappy day!

Wahoo...got a page done! ;-) More excitedly, I'm getting fun programs up and running on my laptop. I just downloaded Cricut Craft Room (it's free) and got it hooked up with the laptop and my Expression with a test run and it's great! Does anyone else use CCR?

Off to see if I can hook up my Silhouette. It's the original so I'm not sure if it'll be compatible with Windows 8 or not. Or, I may start a digi page...yeah for scrappy time!!! :-)

Good for you Mary Pat...it's always fun to get things running smoothly...

Hi Anavon...If you happen to see this, you'll have to let me know what local restaurants are good with 2 kiddos ages 9 and 7 around Myrtle. We left early this morning and it took us less than 10 hours to get here with only 3 stops! Rained most of the way until we hit N Carolina when it cleared up. I think this was the shortest time ever driving here. We've already had to go to the pool and now everyone's in bed. I saw it's supposed to most likely rain tomorrow so maybe we'll go to Broadway at the Beach. DGS is anxious to go back to MagiQuest and has brought his magic wand with him. I have to plan things where I can sit on occasion since my foot is still swelling from a sprain if I'm on it too much.

Off to see if I can hook up my Silhouette. It's the original so I'm not sure if it'll be compatible with Windows 8 or not. Or, I may start a digi page...yeah for scrappy time!!! :-)
I have been using CCR for over a year and my Silhouette when I want something done fast or don't have a cartridge image to use.
I do need to update CCR for the new Artbooking cart I picked up yesterday.

I finally got my Gypsy up to date, that took a long while and once that was done I was able to connect and upload all my cartridges to CCR. I bought my Silhouette via HSN many years ago and for some reason I ended up with a $100 credit for images...I still have over $60 remaining (if you deduct the image credit, I made money off that deal...not sure why, but not complaining!). Between the two systems I should be good to go for a while; though I do want to get the new CTMH cartridge.;)

Good for you Mary Pat!

I signed up for CCR when it first came out but I've never used it. I used to use Cricut Design Studio a lot but the last time my laptop crashed I never reloaded it. I really need to use my Cricut more. I always thought the Silhouette looked like it had a lot of variety & easy to use. I couldn't bring myself to buy another system since I have a ton of cartridges plus I bought the Cricut Imagine. I have never taken the time to play with it & wish I hadn't bought it!

I had a busy weekend but did add photos to 4 pages I did last month at the CKC Convention. All I need is the journaling so I was pleased!

Hope everyone has a great day...I off to work. :(

Morning!! Now that the DGK's are back in school, I will have most of the day to myself (with DH) to spend in my studio! Yea, no more scheduling time for the computer!!
First on the agenda is using ArtBooking to make elements for a page. I had to purchase it in a bundle which made it a bit pricy so I had better get lots of use from that cart.
