Actually, I didn't create separate layers, but I did have to hit return and hig the space bat and backspace a lot to line up each line. It took almost as long as the rest of the page put together, between changing fonts and sizes plus lining it up and getting the spacing right. There must be a better way, but I don't know what it is! lol
I hear ya...I had a recipe card template / set for my MDS (My Digital Studio)...had to key each line separate. :p It was slow going.

Well....after I posted this, I was going thru and downloading all those Blog Train kits and found on Misty Cato's blog a tutorial on doing journaling within journaling blocks. Here is the link Misty Cato Designs
Hope this helps....It looked very interesting and I think I actually understood what she was saying.
I'm gonna turn this in to a progressive page...shortly.
Hello, Melissa. I have been MIA for a week doing the VSN Mini then DTGD.
I can't believe that I didn't think of doing scrapbook pages for the ABC or any of the other DTGD Challenges! You are so smart! Now, I still have 10 pages to do for August! Great job on your DTGD projects. I left some love in the gallery for you.
Everyone, I will be posting the Inspiration challenge tomorrow morning! It is all ready.
Used sketch from SBSC285 as the inspiration for the layout and it was a great way to layout a whole series of pics like this. With the photos being so colorful I went with a black and white base.

Yeah! Penny's back!!! Congratulations on earning your degree. Too funny I was just looking in my Favorites and I have several of your pages there and was wondering how you were doing...and here you are! Can't wait to see your beautiful pages again :-)
We're off for a few days to Siesta Key (never been before) so I won't be seeing you all until the end of the week. We're still in need of VSBN Hosts so I hope you can help us out. We need one more person for the mini so contact Lela (LMN) anytime, or me after Thursday.
Enjoy your week!
Mary Pat

Hi Ladies. Its August!! I can't believe it. I have been so busy. I opened up an etsy shop and have been working on things for that. Hopefully it keeps on going okay. I can't seem to make things fast enough though and the question is will I get to work on my own scrapbook pages. We'll see. This month my goal is 2 because this past weekend was a family reunion and I have my 10 year high school reunion this month and my mom coming into town and my brother and sister-in-law in town so I don't know if I will get much done.

Sharon's Christmas in August inspiration challenge helped me get a couple of pages done for my DGD's 8x8 album. I hope to get some more done, since this dps is from 2008 (and I have two DGDs!)
My first page for August...it covers quite a few challenges and it might cover another one but Patti will have to let me know if it qualifies for the Boho Chic Thursday challenge. I wasn't quite sure on that one!

Wendy, I just read a tutorial on using the straightening tool in PSE9 and it was really easy to do. I just never realized how to do it! If you take your pics and then put them thru PSE, maybe you can use that to make them straighter.
You all are just scrapping like crazy...I'm so jealous! We just got back from a very short, wet getaway but yet still fun with the family :-) My girls go back to school on Monday so we're a bit hectic right now. My DH goes back to work next Wednesday...so I'm hoping to get my scrappy groove on next week.
It's great to see Anavon & Candy able to come back to play...hope we see more lovely 'faces' back soon.
We need help for VSBN & the Mini. Is anyone available to host a challenge on Sunday, Augusut 20 @ 2 PM EST? We're pretty wide open for the VSBN too. If so, let us know. :-)

Crazy here like ususal :-) We've been trying to get a group of friends together for end of summer/back to school and it came together last night...for tonight at my house...guess I should clean up! We have a few things to do this morning outside of the house too. I think I'll be happy when all are back to school and work so I can finally take a break (& scrap)! ;-)
