In March I only made 5 layouts. For April I will strive for 5 again.
I have started the VSN cards and made 3 so far, with plans for more. Along with my intention to play in the VSN challenges, I believe I will be able to make some layouts as well as cards.

Hey ladies! I'm shooting for 15 this month. So far I've managed to exceed my goal every month, and I'd love to do that again, haha! But there is a LOT going on this month so we will see.
I am looking forward to the VSBN even tho I haven't finished the previous one!

2024 Scrapping Goals: May: 13/20; April:11; 2024: 59/125
Hello! I was able to meet my 5 pages goal and made a mini scrapbook. Have not posted the last page, on my way to vacay after a long weekend at Virginia for the soccer Jefferson Striker College Showcase with my son. Looking forward to Paige Evans and Shara Crane Wild Weekend in New Jersey so I am hoping to catch up after vacation with them. Florida bound for some heat and water. Spring break for the kids. Looking forward to my April goal of 4 pages. I will do a banner and some jewelry type craft for the outside of a mini book and probably a mini scrapbook.

I finished 18 for March and plan to do 10 in April. Looking forward to VSBN I always enjoy those.
I just looked at the VSN page prompts and many could be made into scrapbook pages, especially if you have food type pics since "What's On the Menu?" is the theme. I almost missed it as I usually rely on the rotating banners on the home page. Does anyone know why those are still running last fall stuff? Except for the Fan Club monthly I think the others are from last year.
Amy and Joyce Ann- thanks for the reminder that we can play with the VSN and scrap at the same time! I've got four layouts sitting here waiting for me to finish them up....!!

Two scrap pages that I did for the VSN prompts.
One prompt is to use 3 greens… easy for a scrap page. The other is to have 7 layers. If you mat your photos that usually covers me with that alone. So these are 2 of the ones I saw that stood out as easy to translate into scrap pages. But, my favorite is the one Sharon is hosting as hers involves using things that are leftover. Is that not perfect for all of us with loaded up surfaces and plenty of stash? I first did that one for VSN as a card, but plan to do another with pictures as a scrap page. Great idea, Sharon!
I uploaded these last night. I didn't quite finish everything I had sitting out but I had to tidy up! I am now baking for our family Easter gathering, and then going to my parents (about two hours away) in the morning! BYU Band Wax Museum
I am excited about VSBN! Thank you Sharon! I hope I can get to it on Monday!

Hi all! I'm a lurker here as I haven't scrapped in a while but have projects in mind. I wanted to encourage you all with this: last night our boys' girlfriends joined us for dinner. (Our older son and his gf just got engaged.) We started talking about photos and funny stuff the boys did when they were little and I brought out a couple of the scrapbooks from that time. They all THOROUGHLY enjoyed looking through them and our younger son even THANKED me for preserving the memories this way. It was so sweet. Older son asked if there were any books they got to keep! lol
I don't know if you share the pages/books you create but I just wanted to encourage you to keep going. These pages really are keepsakes
I made some layouts yesterday, but I don't consider them done til I add pictures. A friend got me a huge amount of sutff at a thrift shop. I have been sorting and then used omse of the stuff to make the layouts. I will add the pages to my bin of layouts. I hope to have time to scrap next week, I have a few days off. Not really off, but a different work schedule.

Thank you, Adriana, for those encouraging words. And, welcome! If you do your projects, please share with us and use our keyord so you will be in our gallery.
Thank you, ladies. I will be sure to share (and use the keyword) when the time comes. I have some photos ready but plan to switch to letter sized pages instead of 12x12… may take me a while to get it looking right! Lol
plan to switch to letter sized pages instead of 12x12
I know what you mean about switching. I'm on my second year of the switch. Those 12x12 albums are just too heavy and they are hard to fit on standard selves.

A few months ago, a couple of us were talking about attending CKC Lancaster (PA) in July & i can't remember who it was. I signed up yesterday!
On another note, I have had a LO on my table for over a week!! I think I finally have it figured out & it's raining here today (not much rain since we got here in January) so I hope to finish it!!
Good morning friends! I'm trying to get moving in the right direction again, been too many days without paper crafting.
Have a wonderful time, Lou Ann! I, too, have a layout just lacking title and some pretties, hope you finish yours.
I seriously need to make a couple special birthday cards before I can scrap today. I'm working on motivation to go for my walk first. Then, get my French Onion Soup going and to the stamp desk.
Wishing you all some motivation!

Joyce Ann, we are on the same wave length! I am going to get dressed and do my walk! Then breakfast , then scrapping! Please check in over at VSBN. It is featured in the newsletter, so let’s show some activity over there. Maybe we will pick up some more scrappers. We already have one new one over there.
I got to play with a couple VSBN challenges today and I have some ideas for more! Tomorrow my daughter turns 18, but I might be able to get another one done while she's at school....! #3 Color Challenge: New Hairdo #5 Inspiration Challenge: Pool Day

I finally got my first layout finished. All scrap paper from my bins. I will add simple notes soon. probable about the bear her grandma gave it and date.
I really am happy when I can use all scraps - even the base is a combo of two different pieces. The polka dot wasn't quite long enough and I found the striped paper that matched so cut two strips and added to top and bottom. She's so Sweet by AnniePanda at Splitcoaststampers

This was a quick one with a kit that I purchased a long time ago...yea for using my stash up! I also was able to use it for the VSBN Challenge #4 Technique Challenge!!
We, too, are having very little rain. We are very dry. Just a little shower occasionally these past few days. Should continue this way for today and tomorrow. The county put a ban on lawn watering a few days ago. Doesn't apply to me, I have my own well. I just water the plants and not the lawn anyway.
Last night I uploaded another VSBN challenge layout. Our Bishop - jai by AnniePanda at Splitcoaststampers
