Can you believe this is our 3rd year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2008 & 2009 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2010! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to see everyone's goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2010! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person will post what their scrapbook page goal is for May. We will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. Along with the scrapbook page goal for May, if you'd like to play along with the "Using Stash Crew" decide what your scrapping budget will be for that month.
*In this thread, we'll track how we do for the month. Look HERE to share and track your Annual Goals. *
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done, use more in our stash before buying new (well at least keep track) and if you want to play along w/ saving --- save $$ at the same time which becomes scrapping budget $ for next year -- or vacation money or Holiday fund! See POST #5 below for BUDGET!
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2010 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
(Pssst...in case you're interested in the "history", here's the thread that started it all 3 years ago...
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "SBC10May"

We're going to launch another Thursday Challenge for 2010! I'm so excited!!
SCS 52 Week Thursday Goal Challenge!
This year on Thursdays you'll be invited to join us for our 52 Week Scrap Challenge. These challenges will be PERFECT whether you're working on your kids albums, 2010 Family Album, Daily Life Album or a "BOM" (Book of Me).
We have a SPECIAL Hostess for every month and each Thursday they will post a challenge that goes with their theme for the month! By the end of the year, you'll have some GREAT pages or a complete 2010 Scrapbook...OR BOTH!
I'll try again for 10 pages in May. April was not productive at all - hopefully May will be a little less hectic for me.

still here, same goal of 10 for the month. finally got some new pictures sent to the printers so i'll hopefully have a fresh batch of creativity coming... i've been stuck in a rut with the same old pictures!!
I'll go for 4 again this month and here is the first one (still working on VSBN-figure 3 for May will be VSBN if all goes as planned today and tomorrow )
Well April was a total bust for me. I finished 2 of a 30 goal. We find out on Tuesday when mom's treatment will start and what it will be. So until then I am not going to set a goal for May. If I get any done they will be a bonus! I have looked through the gallery and you ladies had another very productive and great month!!!

Scrapbook goal: April 7/10 MAY /5 YTD 32
April was quite productive for me thanks to VSBN. I actually was one short but am nearly done another VSBN challenge. I made 9/10 for April. I will set May goal for 5 as I have a 7x7 album I need to finish for a daycare mom for Mother's Day.

Today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday.
Got another VSBN challenge done 5 minutes before the 10 p.m. EST deadline! whew! And only just realized that I missed a Saturday one altogether (I thought it was due Sunday.) Oh well...Guess I'll have 2 to work on tomorrow now instead of one. Still trying to think of pics to go with the cake challenge.
DH got a laugh out of this one from Wendy. He didn't remember this pic being taken at all! I couldn't resist it when I saw it.
Well I missed my goal again only 4/5 last month...........like my sister Patti I think I'd better wait to set a goal for this month........Pray for our Mom ladies.

I got 25/26 done in April. This month is going to be mega busy since we will be moving out of our house and I will be without internet. My husband returns soon, so I am going back up to WA next Saturday. I am going to TRY to do 2 pages before then. So that is my goal - 2 pages!

I see I'm down for 10 - didn't get anything done last month despite very cool VSBN... am going to do some of those this month, even though they'll be late!
I can't believe it's May already! This last week of April was a killer and I never did get to start any more VSBN challenges...I'll save them for the summer months! :-) I was short of my goal of 15 by 2 so not too bad. I am just slightly above for the year so I'm satisified with that. I still need to finish my Girl Scout gift album...I know I've been saying that FAH-EVAH! But...it MUST be done by this week if I'm to get it off to be printed and returned in time for their end-of-year Bronze Award/Bridging Ceremony in June! I think about 10 pages will finish that off and still keep me on track for the year...so 10 pages in May for me :-)
I missed my April goal but I am super excited that I was able to complete my first pages of the year! I am going to set a goal of 4 pages and use my stash.
I am behind by 4 pages for my YTD goal. This is going to be a busy month with dance, VBS prep work and maybe a few days at the beach. I'm not going to set a goal for this month and hopefully get those 4 pages caught up. I ordered the Cricut Expression yesterday so I will definitely need to find time to play with it. I am looking forward to being to do some things with it that I can't do with my baby bug.
WOW! It is May and what a fun cropin Saturday I had. I have not been a very organized crop participant in the past so this time I made a game plan and I was able to get 12 pages finished plus a mini (and I mean mini) photo album done at my LSS yesterday.
I have met my goal for May!
I will post some of my projects later today.......... getting ready to go out for a gab fest with ladies that I have not seen in a year....that and I am having trouble with photoshop today..... must be the humidity?? LOL
One more VSBN challenge done today. That makes 14 out of 16 done and this makes #3 for the month of May towards my goal of 4. I think I've run out of steam now and I've got lots of other things to try and concentrate on now for a while. Apparently my DD, SIL, and DGD have decided they are going to move in with us for about 3 weeks before they head out to Colorado in June so I need to clean out the one bedroom since that has been storing everything under the sun that was moved out of 2 other rooms! It looks like I won't be doing the garage sale at the end of May now since I won't have time to sort through everything with getting ready to have them for an extended period of time.

Good Morning All my Friendly PEEPS!!!
Sorry I have been so MIA... I have a lot on my plate at the moment and hopefully things will settle down here really soon. I am off to work right now, so I plan on checking in and setting all my new goals later. See ya all soon!
I'm going to try again this month! I took march and april "off" to work on a heritage album for my grandparents which is not completed but I have a good majority of it done and i'm hoping to get back to it soon and finish it. But this month I really do want to work on my girls albums and the family album. I REFUSE to be more than a year behind, the pages have less and less journalling because I just can't remember specifics! So I'm down for 20 for may and I've completed 3 so far.
I'm in for 4 this month again. Only accomplished 2 of 4 last month but my little baby came earlier than expected and had a longer hospital stay than anticipated. But now I'm back to real life and can hopefully find a little time to scrap.

My mojo got up and left last month. However, I did sit down and finished up 12 pages for a swap I'm doing. Just waiting for the glue to dry, then will try to upload. Feels good. So I have already met my goal for May.

Way to go Deb! Now you can stay out of doors more this month!
I'll plan on a goal of 5 scrapbook pages and 5 cards for the month of May.
I hope everyone is doing okay. Looks like some of you have already got a start on May scrapping which is totally fantastic. I am stuck at home with Vertigo. I have never had this before and I never want it again. My doc gave me a shot today and since then it's been the first time I've been able to hold my head up for any length of time without feeling like I was spinning. I'm not supposed to drive and I'm not allowed back to work until next Wed so hopefully I will have some moments where I feel like crafting. Although I don't know how well you can scrapbook if you have to remain somewhat horizontal. Take care.

Hope you feel better soon. Not to sure scrapping horizontally would be easy but it's worth a try.

Congrats. Babies do tend to put all else on hold but they are worth it. If you get any done this month then I will be truly impressed. Don't punish yourself if you don't. Make sure you take time to rest. Take care of yourself and your sweet baby.

I am really worn out from completing 30 layouts in April, so I think I will cut back to 5 in May. I know, not a lot, but I have tons going on this month. Lela, can you update my goal for this month? Thanks.

I already reached my 2 page goal for the month. I will try to snap a picture and upload tomorrow. I may try to squeeze in a page or 2 more. Who knew my procrastination of packing would help in the scrappin department?!
